He guessed she was probably downstairs.

Just then, Li Chen’s phone buzzed—a ssage had co through.
He picked it up to see that it was from a mber of the Dark Group.
The ssage was brief, stating that they had located the Li siblings in South Africa, but the two were cunning and had vanished again shortly after being spotted.
Li Chen thought for a mont, then took out his computer and contacted Alice.
“King of the Netherworld, I thought you had forgotten about ,” Alice said in a plaintive tone as soon as the video connected, acting very much like a neglected wife.
Of course, Li Chen knew it was all an act.
“Have you heard about the Li family affair?” Li Chen asked.
“Yes, I’ve already given the orders.
Additional manpower has been deployed to Africa.
If there’s any news, I will inform the master imdiately,” Alice said earnestly.
Li Chen nodded, “How is the Palace of the Nether King doing?”
“It’s developing rapidly.
The scale has almost returned to what it was before, and we’ve promoted a new batch of very elite mbers.
Their loyalty is not in question this ti,” Alice reported.
After the betrayal by the Ghost King, loyalty had beco the number one priority.
This latest group of promotees had undergone various tests and could be trusted in terms of their loyalty.

“No news yet,” Alice said softly.
“The Ghost King is very cunning.
It’s as if he knows our search thods and has just vanished into thin air.
The whole Palace of the Nether King across North Arica is looking, but we can’t find him.”
Li Chen was sowhat expecting this result because previously, Shadow was in charge of the Dark Division, and she would certainly know so of the search thods, which she then might have shared with the Ghost King.
“Then keep a close watch.”
After turning off the video, Li Chen rubbed his forehead.
If these two enemies really confronted him head-on, there was no doubt he could easily take care of them.
But the problem was that both the Li family sisters and the Ghost King were cunning, always aiming for his blind spot.
Even with his guard up, it was all too easy to fall into a trap like the last ti.
Like the incident with Li Yang, if he hadn’t called over Zu Gu and the others, he probably would have t his demise right there.
At the thought of this, Li Chen couldn’t help but rember his grandfathers and start worrying about them.
Even though the three grandfathers had told him not to worry, how could he not be concerned when so much ti had passed without any news?

Thinking about the bed collapsing all of a sudden last night, Lin Yi couldn’t help but find it amusing—they would have to buy a new bed today.
After breakfast, instead of going to the company with Lin Yi, Li Chen took Zhong Tian and headed straight for the long-distance bus station.
He was preparing to return to Panlong Village!
Zhong Tian was puzzled, but wherever Li Chen said they were going, he would follow without question.
After another bumpy ride, the two returned to Panlong Village, but still, there was no sign of the three grandfathers returning ho.
Li Chen ca directly to the mountain and stopped in front of the cave entrance, tightly sealed with stones.
Zhong Tian was behind him, and the Ginseng Doll was on his shoulder, both curiously looking at Li Chen.
Zhong Tian did not know that Li Chen had a Great Grandfather; when he had joined the sect, there were only three others.
“Great Grandfather, this is Li Chen!” Li Chen called out, infusing his voice with True Qi, loud enough that the Great Grandfather in closed-door cultivation within the cave would surely hear.
“I want to inquire about the whereabouts of the other grandfathers, as I’m quite worried about them,” Li Chen said.
His voice echoed, but there was no response from inside the cave.
Could it be that he had failed to awaken Great Grandfather from his state of closed-door cultivation?
Li Chen’s heart was filled with confusion, but at that mont, from the tightly closed stones, a mysterious pill shot out, flying straight toward Li Chen.
Li Chen caught it with his hand, examining the silver pill closely.
It was covered in pill patterns, which made it seem extraordinary.
