Miao Yue’s eyes darted about, as if she were hatching so mischievous plan.
Suddenly, she looked at Tongtong and said, "Tongtong, you’re sick? Why didn’t you ask your auntie for help? I know many famous doctors who could guarantee a cure in no ti."
She thought this was her chance to ingratiate herself with Lin Tao and Guo Yuxue.
Tongtong glanced at Miao Yue and shook her head. "No need, Auntie. I’m almost better now. Uncle Yang’s candy cured , and he even found a specialist for ."
Miao Yue laughed. "A down-and-out bum like him? What kind of good doctor could he possibly find? He probably just made your illness worse. He’s only good at fooling children. Candy curing diseases? That’s ridiculous."
"You’re the one who’s ridiculous!" Tongtong retorted, growing agitated. "I won’t let you talk about Uncle Yang like that! The candy he gave *can* cure diseases! Besides, the doctor Uncle Yang found is amazing. They have a whole dical team serving just ."
When the crowd heard this, they were all dumbfounded. Chen Chong was especially shocked. "A whole dical team? All because of him?"
Finding a single doctor wasn’t difficult, but having a dedicated dical team serve one person was sothing else entirely. That wasn’t just a matter of money; it required imnse influence.
Qin Shuang waved his hand dismissively. "Tongtong, you must have been tricked. What dical team? I bet it’s just a small clinic with a few extra patients."
"I’m not as dumb as you!" Tongtong shot Qin Shuang a look. "I know the difference between a clinic and a hospital. What’s more, Grandpa Chen Guo and Uncle Yao Ran are on the dical team."
The crowd was even more astounded. Not only was there a dical team, but it included Master Chen and President Yao, the two top experts in National dicine in all of Jingnan Prefecture. How was that possible? There were only a handful of people in the entire prefecture who could pull off sothing like that, and Chen Chong’s family certainly wasn’t one of them.
Qin Shuang couldn’t stop himself from glancing at Yang Qi. "What tricks did you use to make a child lie so outrageously? This has gone too far."
"Believe what you want," Yang Qi said, not bothering to explain.
What’s the point of explaining to people like this? It’s just a waste of ti.
Seeing Yang Qi’s indifferent attitude, combined with the fact that Lin Tao and Guo Yuxue didn’t contradict the story, left everyone in shock. It seed Tongtong wasn’t lying after all. Yang Qi really had arranged for a dedicated dical team for her, and it even included Chen Guo and Yao Ran.
The group fell silent, unsure of what to say or how to re-evaluate Yang Qi’s status. A seed of fear had been planted in their hearts.

Lin Tao, however, didn’t even touch his drink. He just gave Chen Chong a cold look and said, "So things can be forgotten, but others, I will never forget. You used all sorts of disgusting tactics to go after my wife, Guo Yuxue. If it hadn’t been for Yang Qi and Liao Fusheng, you might have actually succeeded. You want to forget that? Impossible!
"Alright, enough nonsense. Just say what you ca here to say. I want to get back to chatting with my friends."
Chen Chong’s face turned livid, and he looked ready to explode. But when he rembered Lin Tao and Guo Yuxue’s current status, he forced himself to take a deep breath and calm down.
"Brother Tao, it’s like this," Chen Chong said, finally revealing his true purpose. "Our family wants to partner with the Qifei Group. Since you and Sister Xue have a good relationship with them, I was hoping you could act as a go-between, helping our family connect with them to secure a deal. Lin Tao shook his head. "Are you dense? I already told you, asking is useless. The Young Master of the Qifei Group is sitting right here. It would be much faster to ask him. One word from him, and your family’s business will take off. It’s a far better bet than going through ."
"What? The Young Master of the Qifei Group?" Chen Chong was completely baffled. There was no Young Master here.
