"A bunch of idiots. I’ll never treat people like you," Yang Qi sneered. He wasn’t a full-ti doctor; he treated patients entirely based on his mood. He wouldn’t treat people he couldn’t stand, people who annoyed him, and people he disliked!

"Hah, you really think you’re so Divine Doctor? We would never beg you for treatnt," Zhang Biao sneered back.

"Is that so? I don’t know about others, but you’ll likely be begging soon!" Yang Qi said with a light chuckle.

"Why?" Zhang Biao was baffled.

"That arm of yours... I broke it with a special technique. You won’t find a hospital in this world that can heal it. Only I can fix it," Yang Qi said with a smile.

"I don’t believe you!" Zhang Biao retorted, a hint of panic in his voice.

"Haha, believe it or not!" Yang Qi laughed. "A bunch of fools, constantly questioning my dical skills. In a mont, I’ll perform a treatnt right here for you all to see. But just doing that is boring. Who wants to make a bet with ?"

"What kind of bet?" the crowd asked.

"If my on-the-spot treatnt is a success, you lose. Anyone who bets against will owe ten million! If I fail, I lose, and I’ll give each of you ten million. How about it?" Yang Qi declared.

"Ten million is too little. How about we bet one hundred million instead?" Zhang Biao proposed.

"Sure, suit yourselves. Who wants to bet with ?" Yang Qi asked.

In the end, including Zhang Biao, fifteen people agreed to bet against Yang Qi. They simply refused to believe he could cure a chronic syndro known to be incurable. What a joke!

Just then, Tong Shan arrived with his wife.

Yang Qi glanced at them and said, "Your wife’s condition is much better than Hong i’s. A single treatnt will be enough for a full recovery. Afterward, she can take so herbal soup to reinforce the effect. The herbs are very cheap. I’ll write a prescription, and you can buy them yourselves!"

"That’s great!" Tong Shan was overjoyed. He knew his wife’s condition was less severe than Hong i’s and would surely be easier to treat.

"Hold on!" a voice suddenly rang out.

It was Tong Shan’s eldest son, Tong Wu.

"What’s wrong?" Tong Shan asked.

Tong Wu spoke coldly, "Dad, I don’t trust him, and I certainly don’t believe in so-called National dicine. I took Mom all over the country, and not one hospital could cure her. Do you really believe this kid can cure her with a single acupuncture session? He’s probably a fraud! What’s more, he hasn’t even looked at the test reports or her dical history, yet he claims he can cure her with just a glance. There’s no doctor in the world that miraculous. He’s definitely a scamr."

Tong Shan flared up. "You brat, what do you know?! Divine Doctor Yang just pulled —your own father—back from the Ghost Gate with acupuncture! How dare you call him a fraud!"

Tong Wu shook his head. "Dad, detoxification and healing are two different things; you can’t equate them. I advise you to think this over carefully."

At that mont, Zhang Biao interjected with a sneer, "Brother Tong Wu, this Yang Qi graduated from dical school but has never had any clinical experience. I’ve never heard of him studying National dicine, either. I’ve always thought this kid was a fraud. You can’t believe him."

This made Tong Wu even more insistent. "Dad, even if we’re going to see a National dicine doctor, it should be a renowned one from Sea City, not so charlatan!"

Tong Shan frowned. "If the renowned doctors of Sea City were so useful, would your mother still be suffering so much?"

"That’s my point! We shouldn’t trust National dicine. This is the era of Western dicine, with its modern treatnt thods. What kind of treatnt is acupuncture? It’s just a way to fool idiots," Tong Wu said.

"As far as I know, even in the countries with the most advanced Western dicine, acupuncture is considered an effective treatnt. How is it a fraud?" Tong Shan retorted.

"I don’t care! I just don’t agree!" Tong Wu was stubborn.

Zhang Biao laughed. "There’s no need for you two to get angry. Why not let him treat Hong i first? We can see how it goes. If it works, great. If not, then we’ll just drop it."

Hearing this, Liao Fusheng imdiately beca furious. "Zhang Biao, you son of a bitch! What the hell is that supposed to an? Are you suggesting my wife be used as a guinea pig?"

The onlookers looked at Zhang Biao with contempt. To suck up to the Tong family, he was willing to betray his own friends and benefactors. The man was utterly shaless.

Tong Shan glanced at Yang Qi, tempted by the suggestion. After all, his wife’s well-being was what mattered most. It wouldn’t hurt to see the results first before deciding on treatnt.

"Divine Doctor Yang, perhaps you could treat Hong i first? We can wait," Tong Shan said.

Yang Qi sneered. "I don’t treat people who don’t trust . I don’t need the money, and I’m not so full-ti doctor with a mission to save the dying and heal the sick. If you trust and I’m in the mood, I’ll provide treatnt. If you don’t, then forget it!"

These words left Chairman Tong extrely embarrassed. He was so angry he wanted to beat his own son.

At this mont, Yang Qi had already turned to Hong i. "Sister-in-law, are you willing to receive the treatnt?"

"I am!" Hong i smiled. "You’re Fusheng’s brother. I trust you."

"Thank you!" Yang Qi replied with a smile.

"Hmph. Everyone, keep your eyes peeled. Let’s see how this fraud will expose himself," Zhang Biao snorted.

The surrounding people nodded in agreent, seemingly convinced that Yang Qi was a swindler. They were now dismissing Yang Qi’s earlier feat of detoxifying Tong Shan as so kind of trick.

"Zhang Biao, shut the hell up! No matter the outco, my brother is trying to help us, and I won’t let you slander him!" Liao Fusheng glared at Zhang Biao, then turned to Yang Qi. "Xiao Qi, don’t feel any pressure. It’s understandable if you can’t cure her. Everyone knows she’s considered a lost cause."

Yang Qi smiled. "Bro Liao, I’m not feeling any pressure. Don’t worry, I can cure her!"

"Sister-in-law, please sit still!"

With a smile, Yang Qi took a deep breath. He suddenly flicked his wrists, and dozens of golden needles appeared in his grasp.

My heavens! To have reached this level of condensing Qi into physical form... The golden needles look completely real, without the slightest hint of being illusory. He is a true master! Tong Shan was astounded.

This was also Yang Qi’s first ti using Condensing Qi into Needle. The last ti he fought against mbers of the Tang Sect, he had used the Rain Pear Blossom Needle technique, which gave him the idea to condense golden needles using Spiritual Power. Needles created this way required no sterilization, could be used directly, and caused no contamination.

In an instant, Yang Qi pierced a full one hundred and eight golden needles into Hong i’s acupoints.

Because it was a chronic syndro, the treatnt was extrely complex. Nearly every part of her body had to be treated, and the slightest error was unacceptable.

Ordinary practitioners of National dicine simply didn’t possess such a formidable acupuncture technique. Only the Nine Dragons Divine Needle, which Yang Qi had mastered, was capable of this. Furthermore, as a Cultivator, he could command the golden needles with Spiritual Energy, allowing him to accomplish all of this with ease.

The sight left the onlookers gasping in awe. Setting aside everything else, this technique alone was breathtaking. His skill was simply on another level—so powerful that anyone who witnessed it would be forced to applaud.
