He spoke, "An Innate Third Layer Cultivator dared to break into the Yee Mansion alone at night, deliberately causing a huge commotion to attract everyone’s attention. Everyone assud the Thousand-Petaled Flower was on this boy, but they didn’t know that Hua Xiaoling had already used the chaos to sneak to the Clan Leader with it. You fought so desperately just now, goading into action, all to provide cover for her. The sche wasn’t particularly brilliant, yet you sohow managed to succeed. But tell , boy, weren’t you afraid of failure? What if the Clan Leader hadn’t arrived in ti? Would you still be alive?"
The Hua Family’s Grand Elder laid Jiang Jichen’s plan bare. It was just as he said: Jiang Jichen was responsible for drawing everyone’s attention, while Hua Xiaoling was responsible for sneaking to the Clan Leader’s side with the Thousand-Petaled Flower.

The Hua Family Patriarch let out a hearty laugh. And with the exchange between the Clan Leader and the Grand Elder, Jiang Jichen once again beca the center of attention.
What happened next was astonishing. The Hua Clan Leader and the Grand Elder continued to converse for a while, but only about trivial matters. They completely avoided the subject of what had just transpired.
Finally, the Grand Elder said, "Congratulations on your recovery, Clan Leader. The revitalization of the Hua Family is now just around the corner!"
The Clan Leader replied, "These past days, it is thanks to you, Grand Elder, that the Hua Family has been managed in such an orderly fashion while I was indisposed. You have my gratitude."
The Grand Elder responded humbly, "You are too kind. It is rely my duty as Grand Elder. Clan Leader, if there is nothing else, I will take my leave."
The Grand Elder departed. Without another word, the Clan Leader left as well, taking Jiang Jichen and Hua Xiaoling with him and leaving behind a crowd of people who could only stare at each other in bewildernt.
Everyone had expected a world-shaking battle, but the two of them just exchanged a few pleasantries and left?
What was going on?
Among the crowd, Lie Xiaoyu of Heavenly Hunting Mountain had most hoped to see the Hua Family Patriarch and the Grand Elder co to blows. The outco, however, was not to his liking, and he found the entire scene utterly baffling.
