The Floating teorite World!
The teorites seed close to one another, but they were actually hundreds of miles apart.
They looked small from a distance, but as you floated closer, you would discover they were imnse—each like a small Fallen Star.
They were utterly barren, devoid of any life—nothing more than silent, black monoliths.
Moreover, those teorites were stationary in the void; they did not move.
It was then that Hua Xiaoling and Yee Young realized the flying Little teorite beneath their feet was different from the huge, stationary ones.
This Little teorite beneath their feet was actually engraved with mysterious, ancient Spiritual Patterns, branded all around it. Without looking closely, they were impossible to spot.
Furthermore, the mysterious, ancient Spiritual Patterns seed to resonate with so mystery deep in the distance ahead.
It was precisely for this reason that the Little teorite could traverse the void like a small flying ship.
While it was possible to fly through this void, it was also incredibly easy to lose your way.
The place was utterly desolate, without a single wisp of Spiritual Qi. If one lingered here too long, even a Cultivator would eventually be reduced to a pile of withered bones.
"This Little teorite Flying Ship must be taking us to a specific destination. We can’t leave it lightly. If we get lost out here, it’s a matter of life and death!"
Hua Xiaoling said.
Yee Young nodded, her gaze sweeping over their surroundings as a thoughtful expression flickered in her eyes.
This place gave her a... strange... sense of familiarity!
Although she was bound by a Seal of Oblivion, as her Cultivation gradually grew stronger, Yee Young could sotis vaguely recall certain things.
Even if she couldn’t form a complete mory, so things still gave her a sense of familiarity.
Just like now. She suddenly pointed to a desolate Fallen Star they were approaching. "I’m going over there," she said. "You continue on. Activate the Position Rune on your person. As long as you’re within sixty miles, I can sense you!"
Yee Young sensed a treasure there, and that familiar feeling told her it was sothing remarkable.
She recalled how she hadn’t needed a Treasure dicine Map to sense the Water Spirit Treasure dicine growing deep at the bottom of a lake. She had an astonishing talent for sensing treasures, and as her Cultivation grew stronger, this innate ability was also improving.
Without waiting for Hua Xiaoling’s reply, Yee Young clutched her large machete, leaped into the void, and sped toward the distant, desolate Fallen Star.
Hua Xiaoling called out helplessly after her, "Young, be careful!"
However, Hua Xiaoling wasn’t overly worried about Yee Young. The girl’s ability to survive was far greater than she gave her credit for.
The Little teorite Flying Ship wasn’t fast, traveling along its predetermined trajectory at about thirty miles per double-hour.
After Yee Young departed, Hua Xiaoling stood guard by Jiang Jichen’s side.
Ever since entering the Sixth Layer of the Exquisite Treasure Tower, Jiang Jichen had remained in a deep state of healing.
His body had been too severely ravaged. One of his hands and both of his legs below the knees were nothing but ghastly white bone.
Fortunately, Jiang Jichen’s bones had been tempered and refined countless tis, making them incredibly hard and preventing their complete disintegration. However, they were covered in a web of cracks and looked as if they could shatter at any mont.
Jiang Jichen’s current appearance was terrifying.
One hand and both feet were just bone, riddled with cracks, and the rest of his body was a mass of wounds.
His injuries were too severe this ti. Even with the Undying Scripture, the Mysterious Exotic Fruit, and countless Qi Blood Pills and doses of Muscle Regeneration Powder, recovery was not going to be easy.
It would take ti to nd; he couldn’t recover as quickly as he had in the past.
A little over a double-hour later, Jiang Jichen opened his eyes. He was still incredibly weak, having only managed to suppress his injuries enough to prevent his body from disintegrating further.
He had been in a deep healing trance and was unaware of his surroundings.
Seeing only Hua Xiaoling by his side and no sign of Yee Young, he asked, "Where’s Yee Young?"
"Little Chen, you’re finally awake! You had worried sick!"
Seeing Jiang Jichen awake, Hua Xiaoling first let out a sigh of relief. "Xiaong stepped onto one of the desolate Fallen Stars," she explained. "She must have discovered sothing."
Only then did Jiang Jichen have a mont to observe his surroundings, and what he saw sent a tremor through him.
’This is a dead space, the remnants of a living planet that was destroyed. In that case, Yee Young must have found a Spiritual Object on that desolate Fallen Star. I wonder what it could be.’
Recalling Yee Young’s innate talent for finding Treasure dicines, Jiang Jichen knew exactly why she had gone to that desolate Fallen Star.
There had to be a Spiritual Object there, sothing so enticing that even she couldn’t resist.
This world might be desolate, but nothing is absolute. A spiritual item born from desolation—that was a true treasure!
"How long has she been gone?"
Jiang Jichen asked.
"A little over a double-hour. Oh! I can sense the aura of the Positioning Talisman she activated! Xiaong is on her way back; she’s a little over thirty miles away!"
Hua Xiaoling exclaid in delight.
Sure enough, fifteen minutes later, Yee Young appeared, landing gracefully on the teorite Small Flying Ship.
The mont she landed, before Jiang Jichen or Hua Xiaoling could speak, Yee Young produced a fingernail-sized lump of white clay and handed it to Jiang Jichen.
Hua Xiaoling and Jiang Jichen both felt an astonishing Life Energy radiating from the fingernail-sized piece of white clay. It also gave off a fresh, captivating aroma. A single whiff made them feel utterly refreshed and intoxicated, as if their very being... had been elevated!
Jiang Jichen was visibly moved. "Life Spiritual Mud?"
Yee Young nodded. "Refine it. It will speed up your recovery!"
A warmth spread through Jiang Jichen’s heart. ’Yee Young is a good woman—cold on the outside, but warm on the inside, and so capable. I could consider...’
His thoughts strayed for a mont, but he accepted the fingernail-sized piece of white Life Spiritual Mud without any polite refusal.
Life born from Annihilation, hope hidden in despair—this was Life Spiritual Mud.
One must understand that every Fallen Star here once teed with vibrant life. Over endless eons, most of them had their Life Spiritual Energy dissipate into the void, leading to their true Annihilation as they turned into withered husks of rock.
But a rare few Fallen Stars underwent a transformation. Instead of dissipating, their Life Spiritual Energy condensed inward, eventually forming Life Spiritual Mud.
Though this piece of white Life Spiritual Mud was only the size of a fingernail, it contained the vast Life Energy of an entire small Fallen Star from before it withered.
With this fingernail-sized piece of white Life Spiritual Mud, Jiang Jichen could recover significantly. Moreover, if they could just find more of it, he was certain he could make a full recovery before they reached their destination.
Jiang Jichen’s eyes lit up. "Good! Once I refine this piece of Life Spiritual Mud, we’ll go look for more!"
With that, Jiang Jichen eagerly began to refine the Life Spiritual Mud.
He held the Life Spiritual Mud in his one remaining hand of flesh and blood, then began circulating the Source Character Qi Condensing Technique to refine it.
BOOM!
Jiang Jichen’s body trembled as a vast, peerless surge of Life Energy poured into him and was refined.
His physical body began to recover at an astonishing rate. A luster even appeared on his White Bone Hand and feet as they began to nd.
The cracks were shrinking, slowly starting to disappear!
