Just as the internet was ablaze with heated debates over the incident, its ripple effects were only beginning to unfold!

For Earth, a 9-Tier Inferno Pit Fiend wasn’t exactly an apocalyptic threat, but it was still no pushover. If one went on a rampage and rescue efforts weren’t swift enough, tens of thousands—maybe even hundreds of thousands—of casualties would be inevitable.

And yet, sothing of that caliber had just been one-shotted.

The shockwaves from this were bound to be massive. But even more crucial was the speculation surrounding that white fla—was it really Tier 3 Magic? This question had the world’s top powerhouses on edge.

Tier 3 Magic was the pinnacle of global magic.

Even in Europe, a region renowned for its mage dominance in the gaming world, no Archmage had ever been known to wield Tier 3 Magic. In other words, if soone had actually pulled it off...

Then they would be the undisputed number one mage in the world—a true Supre Mage.

And that? That would have seismic implications for the global power balance in the ga.

Glory Lords X World – Silver Empire, Olympus Pantheon Guild

The Olympus Pantheon Guild was the most! powerful! guild alliance in all of Europe!

No exceptions.

Only the twelve strongest players in the entire European gaming scene were qualified to join, each bearing the na of a god from European mythology. It was a symbol of status, power, and supre prestige.

But in reality, the Olympus Pantheon currently had only seven official mbers.

The twelve seats weren’t even fully occupied.

At this mont, inside one of the guild’s grand temples, twelve statues stood in a solemn row—each one a breathtakingly lifelike representation of the Olympian gods from legend: Zeus, Hera, and the rest.

The statues glead with an eerie, mystical glow.

Beneath the Apollo statue, a middle-aged man with golden hair, a hooked nose, and a flowing white robe sat cross-legged in quiet contemplation.

Just then, the sound of footsteps echoed through the hall.

A short, wiry man with dark skin strode in from outside.

He wore a black tank top, his fra small but deceptively powerful—his muscles looked loose, almost slack, yet radiated an undeniable sense of explosive strength. More tellingly, Arcane Energy Particles flickered around him, shimring like tiny stars.

A top-tier mage, without a doubt.

"Apollo, have you seen the videos going around online?"

The short man’s voice was sharp, cutting through the silence.

Apollo lifted his head, a faint smile playing on his lips. "What’s wrong, Hades? You scared?"

"Damn right I am. That’s Tier 3 Magic we’re talking about."

Hades let out a cold chuckle, his eyes gleaming. "First, it was that Draconic Pact, and now this Tier 3 Magic... North Arica’s been hiding so serious firepower."

He paused, then shot Apollo a sharp look. "Looks like we got too cocky with our plans. Now they’re sending us a ssage."

"So what?" Apollo sneered, rising to his feet. "Don’t forget—Tier 3 Magic isn’t invincible."

His tone was calm, but his eyes held a dangerous glint.

"I checked the Tower faction’s library. That white fla? It’s from the Castle faction’s 13-Tier Legendary Unit—Angels. It’s called Celestial Fire. And yeah, it’s Tier 3 Magic... but its power? Nothing special."

Hades frowned. "And?"

"Celestial Fire, plus that 11-Tier Unicorn from before... Vishnu’s a damn idiot, he might not be able to hold them off. Even if he can, that Japanese bastard from the Shrine of Amaterasu isn’t exactly reliable either."

"Then we raise the stakes."

Apollo’s smirk widened.

"It’s just a Unicorn, right? One alone isn’t enough to change the ga. Vishnu’s level is fine, he’s got a Strategic Artifact, and he’s got Tier 2 Magic. Worst case? We give him another 11-Tier unit."

His voice turned icy.

"I refuse to believe that with two 11-Tier units, plus Vishnu himself, we still can’t win."

Hades fell silent for a mont before finally speaking. "What about that short bastard from the Shrine of Amaterasu?"

"I’ll personally reach out to White Bear Tsar."

Apollo’s tone was calm but firm. "The plan to suppress North Arica was sothing we all agreed on. If those Russian bastards think they can just sit this one out now, they’re dead wrong.Besides, sure, so unexpected things have happened... but everything is still under our control, isn’t it?"

"Of course!" Hades nodded without hesitation.

As a mber of Olympus Pantheon, he took this situation seriously—but never for a second did he doubt their dominance.

"In that case, let’s move forward."

The Next Day

When Ethan logged in, the first thing he did was find Seraphina.

"Seraphina, let’s go out for a bit."

"Really?!"

Her eyes lit up instantly. "Yes! Yes! Master, let’s go!"

It wasn’t that she was particularly excited about going outside—it was the fact that this would be the first ti she and Ethan were going out alone together. And to her, that ant everything.

Ethan smiled at her enthusiasm, then turned to Cicero and Elynn.

"Cicero, Elynn, while we’re gone, I’m leaving Erald Castle in your hands."

Lilith was busy keeping an eye on the Dungeon’s activity.

Eldorin and Bromir were currently working on expanding their influence beyond the Gleaming Forest.

anwhile, Elyra and Orryn had been sent by Elynn to the Behemoth Lair in the Fury Wasteland for a fight.

Since none of them were around, Ethan didn’t bother ntioning them.

"Yes, my esteed Lord!"

"Don’t worry, Lord, leave it to us!" Cicero and Elynn nodded imdiately.

"Oh, right..." Ethan suddenly seed to rember sothing and turned to Elynn. "Elynn, how’s the food production plan coming along?"

"Going smoothly!"

Elynn smiled confidently. "Wishing Valley and Gleaming Forest have plenty of recruitnt points for 1st-Tier Centaurs, 2nd-Tier Centaur Captains, 1st-Tier Pixies, and 2nd-Tier Dryads. They’re all experts in growing crops and fruit! With their natural abilities, the first batch of food and fruit should be ready soon!"

"Good." Ethan nodded in satisfaction.

"Lord, what units do you want to bring on this trip?" Elynn asked.

"You handle it. As long as they’re 7th-Tier or 8th-Tier, that’ll do... Oh, right, Cicero, I have a question for you." Ethan turned to Cicero. "Can the castle move?"

"Yes, Lord, the castle can move!"

Cicero nodded. "The core of the castle is the Castle Heart, so it can be relocated at will. However, every ti it moves, the Castle Heart’s level decreases."

"The Castle Heart’s level drops?"

Ethan frowned. The Castle Heart’s level was crucial—it directly determined the castle’s territorial influence and the maximum level of buildings inside.

If the territory couldn’t fully cover an area, it would have serious consequences. Creature Dwellings in the wild, resource points—everything would have to be recaptured after each move. Otherwise, they’d revert to neutral status, slipping out of his control.

That was a huge hassle.

And then there was the issue of building limits.

A Level 1 castle could only construct Creature Dwellings for 1st to 6th-Tier units.

A Level 2 castle could support 1st to 8th-Tier units.

A Level 5 castle could recruit up to 13th-Tier units.

A Level 6 castle? That allowed for 14th-Tier units.

Beyond that, a 7th-Tier castle was essentially the capital of an entire faction. In the entire world of Glory Lords X, there were only a handful of those.

So what was the difference between Creature Dwellings inside the castle and those in the wild?

For example, a 1st-Tier Centaur recruitnt point in the wild might produce 20 units per cycle. But inside the castle? The production rate doubled to 40.

And that was just for a Level 1 castle.

A Level 2 castle? That number jumped to 80.

A Level 3 castle? 160.

Each upgrade multiplied the base production—4 tis, 8 tis...

The sa applied to higher-tier units.

7th and 8th-Tier Elite Units? Their production doubled at Level 2, quadrupled at Level 3, and increased eightfold at Level 4.

9th and 10th-Tier Champion Units? They doubled at Level 3, quadrupled at Level 4, and increased eightfold at Level 5.

11th and 12th-Tier Royal Units? Sa pattern.

13th and 14th-Tier Legendary and Mythic Units? At Level 6, their production doubled. At Level 7, it quadrupled.

The higher the tier, the more drastic the production boost. That was the true value of the Castle Heart’s level.

Beyond that, many special buildings—like the Lighthouse, Library, Colossus, and Spirit Guardian—all required a certain Castle Heart level as a prerequisite.

And then there was the issue of territorial control.

Take the Erald Castle as an example. Right now, Erald Castle was a Level 2 castle, aning its influence extended over Verdant Ravine, Wishing Valley, and Suffocating Swamp Forest—plus a good portion of Gleaming Forest.

But back when it was just a Level 1 castle? It could barely cover half of Wishing Valley! That was the difference.

The higher the castle’s level, the wider its reach and the greater its value. At its peak, a castle could evolve into the capital of an entire faction—or even carve out its own pocket dinsion, becoming a domain rivaling that of the gods themselves.

That kind of power was enough to tempt even true deities, let alone mortals. After all, no one was free from desire, ambition, or greed...

"Lord, are you thinking about relocating Blackmire Castle?" Elynn asked, as if she had guessed Ethan’s thoughts.

"Yeah..."

Ethan nodded. "Right now, Blackmire Castle is too close to Erald Castle. Before, when we didn’t have a two-way teleportation gate, it wasn’t a big deal. But now that we do, I’m wondering if it’s worth moving Blackmire Castle—developing on two fronts, or even multiple fronts."

"I think that’s a solid plan," Cicero agreed. "Besides, after we took Blackmire Castle, its Castle Heart already dropped to Level 3. If it falls to Level 2 now, it won’t make much of a difference."

Originally, Blackmire Castle had been a Level 4 stronghold, which ant it could recruit 12th-Tier Wyvern Monarchs. But after Ethan and his forces conquered it, the Castle Heart was damaged, automatically dropping it to Level 3.

And once Ethan took the Wyvern Monarchs for himself, their recruitnt point was gone.

In other words, the highest-tier unit Blackmire Castle could now produce was the 10th-Tier Mighty Gorgon. And honestly? That wasn’t all that impressive...

Thinking it over, Ethan nodded. "Alright, let’s go with that for now. Keep an eye out for opportunities, but there’s no rush. The two-way teleportation gate is still a long way off—we don’t even have a concrete plan for it yet."

"Understood, Lord!"

"Got it..."

With that settled, Ethan climbed onto Seraphina, who had shifted into her massive dragon form, and took off from Erald Castle, soaring toward the outskirts of Sylvanwood.
