"I got it. Don’t worry, I’ll win for sure. When’s the match?" Ethan said casually.

Nathaniel imdiately replied, "Three days from now."

"Three days, huh? Alright then. I’ll see you all then." Ethan shook his head slightly, then stood up, ready to leave.

"Wait!"

Just as he was about to step away, a voice suddenly called out to him. Ethan paused for a mont, and the others also froze, turning toward the speaker. It was none other than Xavian Serpentis, the leader of the Holy Concord Guild.

"Sothing else?" Ethan asked calmly.

"Global Battlefield isn’t just so ordinary competition—it affects the fate of Greater Arica and all its allied nations. Are you absolutely sure you can handle this?" Xavian fixed his gaze on Ethan, speaking slowly and deliberately.

"Xavian!" Nathaniel’s expression darkened instantly as he snapped at him.

"General Grant, I’m only saying this for everyone’s sake," Xavian replied coldly before turning back to Ethan. "I just want you to prove your strength. Otherwise, I can’t agree to you representing us in Global Battlefield."

"And how exactly do you want to prove it?" Ethan wasn’t offended. Instead, he chuckled, amused.

Xavian studied Ethan for a long mont before turning away. "Follow ."

With that, he walked out of the room.

Ethan remained expressionless as he followed.

The others exchanged glances, then sighed and shook their heads. Still, there was a hint of anticipation in their eyes as they trailed after them.

To be honest, everyone knew Ethan was strong.

But how strong, exactly? Very few had actually seen it with their own eyes.

Hearing about it was one thing—seeing it was another.

Without witnessing it firsthand, it was hard to truly grasp his power. And if they were being completely honest, so of them couldn’t help but have doubts. Was Ethan really as powerful as the rumors claid?

Was his reputation exaggerated?

Maybe even overhyped?

Of course, none of them dared to voice these thoughts. But Xavian? He was doing what they all secretly wanted to do.

Before long, under Xavian’s lead, they left Dunmire and arrived at a remote, desolate area.

Whoosh!

A flash of light erupted, and suddenly, a massive, green-scaled wyvern appeared before them.

"Holy shit... is that...?"

"An 11-Tier Royal Unit... a Wyvern?!"

"He already completed his A-rank mission?!"

"I can’t believe it... The first—no, the second person in North Arica to obtain an 11-Tier unit is actually Xavian Serpentis?!"

The crowd erupted in shock, their faces shifting dramatically.

Everyone knew that moving from a 10-Tier unit to an 11-Tier one was a massive leap.

South Korea had dominated the Asian gaming scene for years, feared and respected as an untouchable powerhouse. And the biggest reason for that? Their number one player—Demon King Faker—who commanded not just one, but two 11-Tier Royal Units: the Tidesworn Kenshi.

And now, Xavian Serpentis had taken that sa step, officially becoming an 11-Tier unit holder. The realization hit hard, leaving the crowd with mixed emotions.

At that mont, Xavian fixed Ethan with a serious gaze. "All you have to do is defeat . That’ll be proof enough of your strength. The 11-Tier Wyvern is the weakest among its rank. If you can’t even take it down, then against India’s Vishnu, Korea’s Demon King Faker, and Japan’s Amaterasu—you won’t stand a chance."

India’s Vishnu.

Korea’s Demon King Faker.

Japan’s Amaterasu.

These three were the undisputed strongest players in their respective countries—the equivalent of Caesar and Xavian in Greater Arica. And right now, they were also their nations’ representatives in Global Battlefield, all considered top contenders for the championship.

Most importantly, according to the latest intel, each of them already possessed an 11-Tier unit.

"A Wyvern, huh..." Ethan’s gaze flickered as he studied the venomous beast, its massive form radiating a nacing aura. After a brief pause, he spoke calmly. "Alright then. Let it attack."

Xavian hesitated for a split second.

"Very well," he said, his tone solemn. "Then allow to witness your strength firsthand, Mr. Ethan. Forgive my offense." He bowed deeply, showing the utmost respect.

It was a formal gesture, one that acknowledged Ethan as a worthy opponent.

But Ethan? He didn’t respond.

He understood Xavian’s concerns.

But that was all he understood.

Because to Ethan, this kind of doubt—this need for proof—was nothing short of an insult. He wasn’t angry about it, but expecting him to be polite in return?

Yeah. Not happening.

Xavian’s eyes darkened for a brief mont.

He had shown Ethan the highest level of respect. And yet, Ethan hadn’t returned the courtesy.

That was outright dismissal. A blatant show of disdain.

The realization stung.

But Xavian didn’t waste another second.

Without another word—he attacked.

Xavian Serpentis shuddered, his palm flashing with light as a sleek black spear materialized in his grip. Without hesitation, he lunged at Ethan.

The Holy Concord Guild’s strongest weapon—a Tier 2 Strategic Artifact—Darkbane Lance. A weapon that boosted attack power by 25 points.

ROAR!

At the sa ti, the Tier 11 Wyvern let out a deafening bellow, its massive wings beating furiously as it surged toward Ethan.

BOOM!

A violent storm erupted in the sky, a swirling vortex so intense it was visible to the naked eye. The shockwave spread outward, engulfing everything within a radius of several thousand feet!

Wherever the storm passed, ancient trees were ripped from the ground, roots and all!

Boulders shattered on impact, exploding into a deadly rain of jagged stone, cascading from above, threatening to bury Ethan alive.

"Holy—!"

Nathaniel sucked in a sharp breath, his voice cracking with alarm. "Ethan, watch out!"

This... this was unlike anything he had ever seen before.

The Wyvern’s sheer presence was overwhelming—every movent carried the weight of an ancient beast, a force of nature incarnate. A single attack from it could unleash devastation on an unimaginable scale.

And this was just the weakest of the Tier 11 units.

If it had been one of the strongest...

Or worse—a Tier 12, Tier 13, or even Tier 14 creature...

The sheer destructive power would be beyond comprehension.

RUMBLE!

At that mont, Ethan moved.

BOOM!

A blinding holy radiance erupted from his body, surging forth like an unstoppable tidal wave. The sheer force of it sent shockwaves rippling through the air, exuding an awe-inspiring, terrifying presence.

Simultaneously, a set of radiant armor materialized around him, shimring with divine energy. Behind him, particles of pure light coalesced and expanded—forming into a pair of brilliant white wings.

A dazzling glow.

An overwhelming sense of divinity.

"W-What the hell is that?! Magic?!"

"Looks like so kind of combat magic... but that energy... it’s insane!"

"Wait... d-don’t tell ... is that Tier 3 Magic?!"

"That’s impossible!"

The sheer pressure of Ethan’s power left the onlookers stunned, their faces drained of color.

At the sa ti, the Wyvern and Xavian Serpentis closed in—ready to strike.

BOOM!

From both sides—left and right—Xavian Serpentis and the Wyvern launched their attacks at the sa ti, deliberately avoiding Ethan’s vital points. Instead, they aid for his shoulders and arms, intending to incapacitate rather than kill.

Seeing this, Ethan’s eyes flickered with thought. They’re holding back?

For a brief mont, he considered returning the favor.

THUD!

The impact was like a teor crashing into the earth. A shockwave—invisible yet devastating—erupted from the point of collision, radiating outward with Ethan, the Wyvern, and Xavian at its center.

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

The ground shuddered violently, the deep rumble of an earthquake tearing through the battlefield.

Before the stunned onlookers could even react, the very earth beneath their feet fractured—a 400-foot radius of land suddenly splitting apart, jagged cracks spreading like a spiderweb in all directions. The sound of rock splitting and crumbling filled the air, a deafening cacophony of destruction.

"Who won?!"

"Did Xavian’s attack land?!"

The battlefield was now a wasteland of smoke and rubble, and the spectators were desperate to know the outco.

Then—amidst the chaos—Caesar, who had been watching intently, suddenly went pale. His eyes widened in sheer disbelief as he gasped:

"That’s... impossible!"

"What? What’s wrong, Caesar?!" soone demanded.

But Caesar didn’t answer. He just stood there, stunned into silence.

Gasp—

"No way..."

"That can’t be real!"

"Untouched?! Not even a scratch?!"

"What the hell is going on?!"

At the sa ti, the guild leaders of the top ten guilds all visibly recoiled, their faces contorted in shock.

Their eyes were locked onto the battlefield, filled with utter disbelief.

And then—they saw it.

Ethan was still standing.

Completely unmoved.

His left hand had effortlessly stopped Xavian’s Tier 2 Strategic Artifact—Darkbane Lance.

His right hand had casually blocked the Wyvern’s massive claws.

And yet—he hadn’t even taken a single step back.

Not a single scratch.

Not even a flicker of strain on his face.

"What... the fuck?" Xavian stumbled backward, his breath ragged, his eyes filled with sheer disbelief.

He was a Level 40, S-rank, Rare Hero.

With the Darkbane Lance, his attack power had been boosted by 25 points.

And yet—even with Ethan standing still, not even defending properly—he couldn’t land a single hit?!

Ethan had completely ignored his attack.

How is that even possible?!

But what was even more terrifying—

Even with his combined attack power of 65 points (40 from his level, 25 from the Strategic Artifact), even with the Tier 11 Royal Unit Wyvern attacking alongside him—

They still couldn’t do anything to Ethan.

And then—

FWOOOSH!

A blazing white sword ignited in Ethan’s right hand, its flas roaring with divine energy.

That very sword had just stopped the Wyvern’s claws with ease.

And now—

Ethan struck.

BOOM!

With a single, casual swing, Ethan’s sword slashed across the Wyvern’s body.

CRASH!

The massive beast—easily the size of a small fortress—was sent flying like a cannonball, slamming into the mountainside with a thunderous impact.

The force of the collision shattered the rock, leaving behind a massive crater in the cliff face.

"ROOOOAAARR!!"

From within the crater, the Wyvern let out a howl of agony, its body writhing in pain.

And then—everyone saw it.

A deep, gaping wound had been carved into its back.

Blood—thick, dark green, and oozing—poured from the gash, staining the ground beneath it.

The sight was horrifying.

The battlefield fell into absolute silence.

No one spoke.

No one even breathed.

This... this fight... is already over?!
