In the world of Glory Lords X, contracts fall into four main types, each divided into three tiers of power and commitnt:
High-tier Contract: Soulbind Contract
Mid-tier Contract: Fealty Contract
Low-tier Contract: rcenary Contract
Outside of recruitnt events, most agreents are actually rcenary Contracts. That’s because once you get into the mid-tier and above, the world’s laws in Glory Lords X start enforcing the contract with serious magical force.
rcenary Contracts? You can walk away from those anyti.
But a Fealty Contract?
Breaking one of those cos with a price so steep, most people wouldn’t even consider it unless they were completely desperate. Once you sign a Fealty Contract, betrayal isn’t just unlikely—it’s practically impossible. Not because of loyalty, but because the cost of backing out is just too damn high.
That’s why Ethan had assud Auremax’s loyalty, while not fake, was probably just lip service—maybe a bit of heartfelt respect, but nothing binding. He never expected the dragon to actually go through with it.
But then Auremax offered a Fealty Contract.
That changed everything.
This wasn’t just a promise. This was real. Tangible. Binding. It was Auremax’s ultimate show of allegiance—his way of saying, "I’m all in."
"Let’s do it," Ethan said, locking eyes with the dragon’s calm, unwavering gaze. His heart pounded as he confird the contract.
Ding!

As the system notification faded, a surge of arcane energy burst forth, linking Ethan and Auremax in a glowing tether of power. In that mont, Ethan felt it—an overwhelming sense of command and control over the dragon. The contract was real. It had taken hold.
And then, the system ssages ca flooding in.

Ethan froze for a second—then the realization hit him like a lightning bolt.
Pure joy exploded across his face.
"SSS-rank Legendary Hero..." he muttered, almost in disbelief.
The last ti he ranked up to S-rank Legendary, he’d been thrilled—but this? This was on a whole different level. That excitent back then? Child’s play compared to what he was feeling now.
Because SSS-rank wasn’t just another step up—it was the pinnacle of the orange-tier Legendary class. The absolute peak. Beyond this point, there was only one thing left:
Crimson Ultimate Hero.
A being on par with gods.
And now? Ethan was just one step away. One final push, and he’d be standing shoulder to shoulder with legends like Zyraxis.
Without wasting a second, he pulled up his personal status panel.
The new interface lit up before him—sleek, powerful, and brimming with potential.

Even with Ethan’s usually calm and composed nature, he couldn’t help but flush with excitent. His hands trembled slightly as he stared at the screen.
Because he knew—unless sothing went horribly wrong—Crimson Ultimate Hero was basically in the bag.
Why?
Simple.
Most of his talents were growth-based. And right now, nearly all of them were still at level one. That ant he had tons of room to grow. Even if he didn’t gain a single new skill from this point on, just leveling up the ones he already had would be enough to push him into Crimson territory.
And let’s be real—this was Glory Lords X. With the ga system backing him, there was no way he wouldn’t pick up more talents along the way.
So yeah, the path was clear now.
All he needed was ti—and the patience to keep building his foundation.
Level up the talents. Strengthen the core.
That was it.
Taking a deep breath to calm the adrenaline still surging through him, Ethan turned his gaze to Auremax, who was still kneeling respectfully before him.
He paused for a mont, then exhaled slowly and said, "Auremax... thank you."
"It is my honor, my lord," Auremax replied, bowing his massive head.
Ethan stepped forward and placed a hand on the dragon’s gleaming golden scales. "If the opportunity cos, I’ll help you beco a Gold Dragon Hero."
Auremax’s entire body trembled.
Then, lowering his head even further, he spoke in a deep, solemn voice:
"May the glory of Erald Castle shine across the land."
"I stand with Erald Castle. I stand with you, my lord."
"Rise," Ethan said, helping lift the dragon’s head.
Then he turned to the others—Seraphina, Elyra, Zyraxis—his eyes sharp, his voice steady.
"We need to keep moving. Let’s go. Ti’s ticking."
"Yes, Master!"
"Yes, my lord!"
As for the reward units—the 14-Tier Mythic and 13-Tier Legendary troops—Ethan didn’t hesitate for a second. He chose the 14-Tier Gold Dragons and the 13-Tier Green Dragons.
With that, his forces now included nearly 90 Tier-13 Green Dragons and 20 Tier-14 Gold Dragons.
A force to be reckoned with.
Their combat strength had just taken another massive leap forward.
And with that, ti flew by.
Days passed in a blur.
