Realizing this, Auremax quickly spoke up. "My Lord, we need to join the battle—now!"
"If we don’t hold this place, we lose any hope of continuing the fight. Without the Firebirds and phoenixes to pin down the Dungeon forces... we’re done for!"
Ethan’s expression turned grim as he nodded.
"I know..."
He was well aware of how critical this sanctuary was.
It was one of Erald Castle’s last real hopes of turning the tide—maybe even winning this war.
If anything happened to this place, the consequences for Erald Castle would be catastrophic.
"But if we just charge in head-on... I doubt it’ll make a real difference."
"Protecting the Firebird sanctuary and that Firebird hero is important, no question. But... what if we could take out one of those three Dungeon heroes? Or even more than one? Wouldn’t that be even better?"
Ethan muttered, half to himself.
Auremax’s expression shifted slightly, his eyes flickering. "My Lord, are you thinking...?"
"Yeah..." Ethan’s gaze sharpened as he stared out at the battlefield. His voice dropped low. "Let’s wait a little longer. If the right opportunity cos up, it could turn everything in our favor."
Then he turned to Seraphina. "Seraphina, do you know those three Dungeon heroes?"
"I do," she said with a nod, her eyes flashing coldly, battle-lust radiating from her. "Master, those three are the strongest among the dozen or so Dungeon heroes we talked about earlier—Drexon, Xenodrath, and Skarvex."
"Could you take them one-on-one?" Ethan asked.
Seraphina frowned slightly. "Of the three, Skarvex is the strongest. Drexon and Xenodrath are about equal in power. Before, I couldn’t beat them in a duel... but now? I think I could take them. I should be able to win."
"’Should’?" Ethan’s eyes narrowed as he ran the numbers in his head, calculating every possible outco. After a mont, he ca to a conclusion.
"In that case, we can afford to wait a little longer..."
"My Lord, but if we keep waiting, the Dungeon army’s advantage will only grow..." Zyraxis, the Mana Crystal Dragon, cut in, unable to stay silent. "That Crimson Ultimate Firebird hero may be powerful, but she’s still getting pushed back by those three Dungeon lords."
"If this keeps up, she’s going to lose. No question."
"I know," Ethan said with a nod, his eyes locked on the four Hero Units clashing in the heart of the battlefield. His gaze flickered as detailed status panels for each enemy hero appeared before him.

Crimson Ultimate Heroes? Their level cap is 99.
Which ant Skarvex was just one level away from maxing out.
That alone was insane.
But that wasn’t even what shocked Ethan the most right now.

There was no doubt—those three Dungeon heroes, at levels 76, 77, and 79, were absolute monsters. Even Seraphina, as strong as she was now, could probably only take on the weakest of the three in a one-on-one.
And yet... that Firebird, Isaryne, only level 61, was going toe-to-toe with all three of them. Not just surviving—matching them blow for blow.
That was the terrifying power of a Crimson Ultimate Hero after a second awakening.
It was strength you could see with your own eyes.
And the thing was, just the level gap alone—eleven levels—shouldn’t account for such a massive difference in power. Not unless sothing else was at play.
And she was only rated D-Class among Crimson Ultimates.
So the only explanation... was that second awakening.
"Looks like a Hero Unit’s second awakening really is a full-blown power evolution," Ethan whispered, clenching his fists.
Seraphina was already close to her own second awakening. And now, seeing this—realizing what it ant—only made Ethan more desperate to push her over that edge.
And right now... this situation might be the perfect opportunity.
His eyes locked onto the three Dungeon Hero Units in the thick of the battle, and a dangerous gleam lit up in his gaze.
Yeah, they were strong. No question.
But that just ant...
They were walking, high-level EXP jackpots.
If they could co up with the right plan—if they could take even one of them down—it would an a massive surge in experience and levels.
"Zyraxis," Ethan said, voice low and sharp, "use illusion magic to disguise , Seraphina, and Auremax as Dungeon units. You and Elyra stay here. Watch our movents. Be ready to jump in the mont we make our move."
"Our primary target is to take out one of those three Dungeon Hero Units. When we strike, we go all in—no hesitation, no rcy. We don’t give them a single chance to react."
"And if we can kill two... or even all three?" Ethan’s voice dropped into a growl. "That would change everything for us."
The mont he said it, everyone’s expressions shifted—eyes narrowing, tension rising.
Taking down even one of those Dungeon heroes?
Let alone two or three?
