Ding!

"Player Valkarion has selected specific unit rewards: 72 units of Tier-13 Arcane Colossus and 45 units of Tier-13 Kirin. Please wait... Ding! Selection complete! Please check your inventory. Remaining standard unit quest rewards: 200 units of Tier-14 Mythic Units, 383 units of Tier-13 Legendary Units."

The Arcane Colossus part was easy—48 existing units plus 72 new ones made a clean 120.

That made perfect sense.

But why only 45 Kirin?

Well, that was simple too.

Right now, Ethan had 65 Kirin units under his command.

Five had fallen in battle and hadn’t been revived yet—they’d co back during the next natural cycle.

And when that next cycle hit, on the recruitnt refresh day, he’d be able to recruit five more from the five Kirin Sea Temples—his Kirin-specific Creature Dwellings.

So, doing the math: 65 current 5 reviving 5 recruitable = 75.

Which ant he only needed 45 more to hit the magic number—120.

Now, setting aside any external bonuses or buffs from the refresh day, under normal circumstances, Tier-13 Legendary Unit dwellings refresh on the first day of each natural month.

And today? It was already the 32nd.

So in just three days, the cycle would reset. No need to rush—he could wait.

As for the remaining 383 Legendary Unit rewards...

Ethan ran the numbers in his head, carefully weighing his options.

Then he made his call.

"System, I’ll take 89 units of Ancient War Tree, 38 units of Gem Dragon, 73 units of Behemoth, and 183 units of Green Dragon."

Why those choices?

Let’s break it down.

He currently had 5 Ancient War Trees. None were dead. He had 6 recruitnt slots saved up in their Creature Dwellings. Add the 89 new ones, and that brought the total to a perfect 100.

Gem Dragons? He had 50 alive, 10 dead. Next cycle, he’d get 12 more—revived and newly recruited. That’s 62. Add 38 more, and boom—100.

Sa logic with Behemoths.

He had 17 active, 3 dead, and 6 recruitnt slots saved. Next cycle, he’d get 3 revived, 1 new, and 6 from storage. That’s 10 more. Add that to the 17, and he’d be at 27. So, 73 more would bring him to 100.

As for the Green Dragons... even without counting the dead ones, he had:

89 current 183 from the reward 10 saved = 282.

And that was just for now.

In two natural months—three full cycles—he’d be back up to:

150 (revived) 182 (new recruits) 10 (stored) 45 (miscellaneous) = 387.

Nearly 400 Green Dragons.

At that point, his Tier-13 Legendary Unit army would look like this:

Green Dragon: 387

Behemoth: 100

Gem Dragon: 100

Ancient War Tree: 100

Kirin: 120

Arcane Colossus: 120

Total: 927 units.

Ding!

"Player Valkarion has selected specific unit rewards: 89 units of Tier-13 Ancient War Tree, 38 units of Tier-13 Gem Dragon, 73 units of Tier-13 Behemoth, and 183 units of Tier-13 Green Dragon. Please wait... Ding! Selection complete! Please check your inventory."

"Remaining standard unit quest rewards: 200 units of Tier-14 Mythic Units."

"Now... what the hell do I do with these 200 Mythic Units?" Ethan muttered, scratching his head.

Technically, it should’ve been an easy choice. He didn’t own any Mythic Unit dwellings—none at all for Tier-14 units. So logically, he should just pick the strongest, most overpowered ones available.

But that was the problem.

He had no idea what the strongest Tier-14 Mythic Units even were in the world of Glory Lords X. Based on his past experience, though, the real monsters were usually hidden—special units tucked away behind secret conditions or rare events.

And just as that thought crossed his mind, sothing clicked.

A spark of inspiration lit up in his eyes.

"Wait a sec... what if I try that one?" Ethan murmured to himself.

Ethan made his choice without hesitation.

"System... I choose 200 units of the Azure Dragon!"

The Azure Dragon—the strongest unit in Glory Lords X. No contest.

If the Azure Dragon really existed in this world, and if Tier 14 truly was the highest possible tier... then there was no doubt. The Azure Dragon would be the undisputed king of Tier-14 Mythic Units. A hidden, special unit—rare, powerful, and absolutely devastating.

But...

Was that really the case?

Ethan’s eyes flickered with uncertainty. His heart clenched. He pressed his lips together, and sweat began to bead on his forehead. He was getting nervous—because this choice, this test, might just shatter everything he thought he knew about the world of Glory Lords X.

Ding!

"Player Valkarion has selected specific unit reward: 200 units of Tier-14 Azure Dragon. Please wait... Ding! Selection failed! Selection failed! The selected unit does not et the eligibility requirents for standard unit rewards."

Ethan’s expression shifted instantly. His eyes widened, his breath caught in his throat, and his chest began to rise and fall rapidly.

His heart was pounding.

Fast.

"...So it’s true."

He muttered under his breath, the realization hitting him like a tidal wave.

"So Tier-14 Mythic Units... aren’t actually the top of the food chain in this world. Then what is? Tier 15? Tier 16?!"

The thought sent a chill down his spine.

Honestly, he’d suspected sothing like this for a while now.

After all, the core structure of this Ashan world was practically a one-to-one replica of the single-player ga from his original world—Glory Lords X. And if that was the case, then there was no way the Azure Dragon, Crystal Dragon, Faerie Dragon, and Rust Dragon wouldn’t exist here.

They might not have been the most popular units in the ga...

But they were, without question, the most powerful.

Black Dragons, Archangels, even the Inferno’s Arch Devils—none of them could hold a candle to these four. Even the "weakest" of the bunch, the Faerie Dragon, could wipe the floor with them.

They weren’t even in the sa league.

But that was exactly why Ethan had hesitated to believe they were real in this world. Because if they were... then what kind of power level were they operating on?

Even the Tier-14 Mythic Hero Units, once fully developed, were basically Overlord-class in terms of strength and status.

So what about these four?

Were they on the level of Pri Deities?

Or even... Creators?

That seed a little too far-fetched.

"Whatever... let’s try again. I choose 200 units of the Crystal Dragon!"

Ethan shook his head, refusing to give up just yet. He was still testing the waters.

In the original Glory Lords X, the Azure Dragon, Crystal Dragon, Faerie Dragon, and Rust Dragon were known as the Four Supre Units. But there was another theory among hardcore players:

That the Azure Dragon stood alone at the top—an S-tier god among gods.

While the other three—Crystal, Faerie, and Rust—were a step below. Still insanely powerful, but not quite on Azure’s level.

Ding!

"Player Valkarion has selected specific unit reward: 200 units of Tier-14 Crystal Dragon. Please wait... Ding! Selection failed! Selection failed! The selected unit does not et the eligibility requirents for standard unit rewards."

"Another fail?"

Ethan blinked, then let out a slow breath as his expression turned... complicated.

If even the Crystal Dragon didn’t qualify, then there was no point trying the Faerie or Rust Dragons. Odds were, they’d be rejected too.

Which ant one thing:

These four weren’t Tier-14 Mythic Units at all.

They were sothing beyond.

"Is there really a tier higher than Tier-14 Mythic Units...?"
