At the sa ti—

Ethan couldn’t help but let out a low whistle, his heart pounding with excitent.

"Damn... I didn’t expect Sylvanwood to be hiding this much treasure. This place is a goldmine," he muttered, eyes gleaming. "If I’m right, these so-called ’special structures’ must be the sa kind of wild buildings from the ga in my past life."

"I wonder which one Cicero and the others stumbled across..."

He spoke mostly to himself, but his mind was racing.

Back in the ga world of Glory Lords X, there had been a whole system of wild structures scattered across the map—things like Magic Wells, Idols of Fortune, Swan Ponds, Rally Flags, Learning Stones, even rcenary Camps, the School of War, School of Magic, Arenas... all insanely useful, so even downright broken.

These weren’t just decorative or lore fluff—they could directly or indirectly boost a Hero Unit’s power. Sotis even their entire army.

Sure, on the surface it might seem like just a stat buff or a few extra numbers. But in the world of Glory Lords X? That kind of thinking could get you killed.

Take the Arena, for example—one of the wild structures from the ga. In this world, stepping into one could easily give a hero a flat 30 or 50 to attack or defense. Minimum.

But more importantly, it wasn’t just about raw stats. These places could awaken latent potential, enhance a hero’s innate talents, even strengthen their Primordial Force—the very essence of their power. That was the real ga-changer.

"All right, let’s move. Seraphina, lead the way."

Ethan didn’t waste another second. After quickly sealing a rcenary Contract with Vaelric, he set off with Auremax and Seraphina at his side.

An hour later—

They arrived at a barren mountain ravine. The place looked completely empty.

"This is it?" Ethan asked, scanning the area with a frown. There was no sign of Cicero, and nothing unusual in sight.

"It is," Seraphina replied. "But it’s underground. Master, Auremax—follow ."

Without waiting for a response, she moved ahead, gracefully diving into the icy pool nestled at the bottom of the ravine. Ethan and Auremax followed as she slipped into a subrged tunnel, twisting and turning through the dark water.

Then, suddenly—

They burst out of the water into a massive underground cavern.

"Master!" Cicero’s voice echoed from nearby.

And then Ethan saw it.

A colossal, silver-white circular structure lood before him. It looked like an ancient battlefield frozen in ti—massive, imposing, and radiating a terrifying aura that hit him like a wall.

The pressure in the air was suffocating. It was as if the very stones rembered the clash of steel, the roar of war cries, the thunder of hooves and the screams of the dying.

It was overwhelming.

Almost too real.

"This is..." Ethan stared up at the massive silver-white circular structure, and in that mont, sothing clicked in his mind—it matched perfectly with one of the wild buildings from the ga in his past life: the Arena.

But before he could say anything, Auremax spoke up, eyes glowing with excitent. "Master, I think this is a Mythic-tier special structure—the Divine Colosseum!"

"Divine Colosseum?!" Ethan blinked, turning to look at Auremax. "What does it do?"

"I’ve heard it can train Hero Units, boosting their attack and defense stats... maybe even unlock so kind of mysterious divine laws or powers. But I’m not totally sure on the details..." Auremax admitted, then turned to Cicero. "Prince Cicero, do you know anything more?"

Cicero shook his head slowly, his eyes fixed on the colossal structure. "Not really... but I figure we’ll find out once we go in."

He turned his gaze back to the Divine Colosseum—ancient, towering, and humming with a strange energy. There was a flicker of anticipation in his eyes, a warrior’s hunger to test himself.

"Go on," Ethan said, nodding. "But be careful."

"Yes, Master." Cicero gave a respectful nod, then shifted into his true form—a massive green dragon—and soared into the air, wings slicing through the underground cavern’s heavy air as he flew straight toward the Divine Colosseum.

Just then, a system notification chid in Ethan’s ear.

Ding!

"Congratulations, player Valkarion. Your Hero Unit, Green Dragon Cicero, has discovered a special structure: Divine Colosseum. Would you like to begin exploration?"

"Yes," Ethan confird without hesitation.

But the next ssage caught him completely off guard.

Ding!

"Unfortunately, your Hero Unit, Green Dragon Cicero, is already too powerful. He cannot gain any further strength from this structure. Please leave the area or send another Hero Unit to explore."

Ethan’s expression twisted into sothing between amusent and disbelief.

Seriously? It’s useless?

Whoosh!

At that mont, Cicero flew back out of the Colosseum, landing with a heavy thud and a frustrated look on his face.

"Master, I’m sorry. I failed. The people inside said I couldn’t gain anything from it... I guess I’m already too strong," he said, clearly annoyed.

Ethan waved it off. "No big deal. Seraphina, your turn—go check it out."

He turned to her without missing a beat, eyes sharp with curiosity.

"Got it!"

Seraphina nodded eagerly, then shot into the air with a burst of excitent, wings slicing through the cavern’s heavy air as she soared straight into the Divine Colosseum.

And right on cue, the system chid in again.

Ding!

"Congratulations, player Valkarion. Your Hero Unit, Green Dragon Seraphina, has discovered the Divine Colosseum. Would you like to begin exploration?"

"Yes..." Ethan confird imdiately.

Ding!

"Unfortunately, your Hero Unit, Green Dragon Seraphina, is already powerful enough. She cannot gain significant strength from this structure... However, if you are willing to pay 50 billion gold coins and 5 million units of the six core resources, she can undergo advanced training to gain 30 Attack and 30 Defense, along with a minor enhancent to a chosen magical power."

"Additionally, if you’re willing to contribute over 50,000 units of Tier-5 or higher Special Resources, there is a chance your Hero Unit, Green Dragon Seraphina, may randomly acquire a new talent skill—or even comprehend a new magical ability. Note: The higher the Tier and quantity of Special Resources, the greater the success rate."

Hissss...

Ethan froze for a second, then sucked in a sharp breath through his teeth, practically choking on it.

What the hell?!

Fifty. Billion. Gold?!

Five million units of the six core resources?!

That wasn’t just expensive—that was daylight robbery!

If it were sothing like 10 billion gold and a million basic resources, maybe—maybe—he could scrape it together by selling off everything he owned and calling in every favor he had. But five tis that?

No way. Not even close.

He didn’t have that kind of money. Not even in his dreams.

As for the rest of the ssage—the part about the extra paynt and the chance to unlock a new talent or magic? He didn’t even bother reading it in detail. Just skimming it made his blood pressure spike.

50,000 units of Tier-5 or higher Special Resources?

What kind of sick joke was that?

That wasn’t just expensive—that was insane.
