anwhile...

Archangel Alvariel stood respectfully before Ethan, his voice calm and asured. "My lord, gathering 300 of our kin will take so ti. I’ll need a little while to get everything in order."

"No need to go through all that trouble," Ethan said, shaking his head. "Let’s split up. Once you’ve assembled the troops, head straight to the coastal region near the Crimsonstar Kingdom. Look for a Kirin hero nad Kyros, or a War Unicorn nad Elyra."

"Tell them I sent you."

"I’ll et up with you all there later."

Sure, Ethan had just borrowed Alvariel—and 300 units of Tier-14 Mythic Archangels, no less—but there was no way he was bringing them to Erald Castle. That would be asking for trouble.

Splitting up was the smarter move.

And Crimsonstar Kingdom made for a perfect rendezvous point.

"Crimsonstar Kingdom, near the coast?" Alvariel paused for a mont, then nodded solemnly. "As you command, my lord. In that case, I’ll take my leave."

"Alright," Ethan replied with a nod, watching as Alvariel turned and walked away.

Then he turned to Cicero with a small smile. "Let’s head back."

"Master, I still can’t believe we actually managed to borrow Archangels... and not just a few—300 units! That’s insane!" Cicero said, his voice tinged with awe now that Alvariel was gone.

Sure, 300 might not sound like much at first glance.

But we’re talking about 300 Tier-14 Mythic Archangels.

That’s a whole different level of power.

Just think about it—back during the massive showdown between Erald Castle and the Dungeon forces, the enemy only had around 400 Black Dragons. And even that was considered overwhelming.

Now Ethan had 300 Mythic Archangels at his disposal. That kind of firepower was on par with the most legendary battles of their ti.

It was almost absurd.

"To be honest, I just wanted to give it a shot... didn’t expect him to actually agree," Ethan said with a chuckle. Then he turned to Cicero again. "By the way, what did you think of Wisdom Angel Cain’s strength? How far off are you from his level? Can you tell?"

Cicero shook his head, a bit frustrated. "Not even close... I was already pushing myself pretty hard, but he didn’t even seem like he was trying."

"Don’t worry about it," Ethan said quickly, trying to lift his spirits. "Rember, Maelthorak is our golden opportunity. He’s one of the Sea Kings—still a beast, even if he’s past his pri. If we can take him down... we’ll level up fast. Real fast."

"Once we get past that hurdle, I’m telling you—even Greater Deity-level enemies won’t be able to stop us."

"So let’s give it everything we’ve got, Cicero."

"As you wish, Master!" Cicero nodded firmly, eyes burning with determination. "I won’t let you down. May the light of the Order Dragon Asha guide us, and may the glory of Erald Castle shine forever!"

...

On the way back to Erald Castle, Ethan and Cicero didn’t exactly have a smooth ride.

Just like on their way out, they ran into wave after wave of Inferno and Dungeon forces—so of them seemingly endless. But knowing what was at stake, they didn’t let themselves get bogged down. They pushed forward at full speed, barely stopping for anything.

In fact, they made it back in less than half the ti it took them to get there.

As soon as they arrived, Elynn appeared before Ethan, bowing slightly with a respectful tone. "Welco back, my great lord, and Lord Cicero. It’s an honor to have you return safely. And as it happens... Lady Seraphina, Orryn, and the Green Dragon forces have just returned as well. Would you like to summon them to et with you?"

"They’re back?" Ethan blinked in surprise, then smiled and nodded. "Perfect timing. Go ahead, Elynn—bring them here. You co too. And call Auremax while you’re at it. We’ve got a new operation coming up, and I’ll need all of you."

"I’ll be waiting in the war council chamber."

"As you command, my lord!" Elynn’s expression turned serious the mont Ethan gave the order. He gave a sharp nod and quickly turned to carry it out.

"Co on, Cicero. Let’s head to the council chamber," Ethan said, already moving.

"Yes, Master," Cicero replied, falling in step behind him.

It wasn’t long before Elynn returned—this ti with company.

Behind him ca several massive figures: Seraphina, the Green Dragon Orryn, and Auremax. The three commanders Ethan had specifically requested. With Elynn included, the core team was now all present.

"Master!" Seraphina bead the mont she saw Ethan. Without hesitation, she darted forward and claid the spot directly behind him—on his left. Cicero, not to be outdone, lazily shifted into his Green Dragon form and coiled up on Ethan’s right, flicking his tail like he was saying, Yeah, this works. I’m good right here.

"Hey, what are you two doing standing behind ? Sit down already," Ethan said, half-laughing, half-exasperated.

"Nope! I’m staying right here," Seraphina said proudly, chin tilted up.

Cicero didn’t say anything—just gave a lazy tail flick again, clearly not planning to move either.

"Fine, whatever. Do what you want," Ethan said with a helpless shake of his head, then turned his attention to Orryn.

[Orryn]

Race: Green Dragon

Tier: 13

Overall Rating: Tier-13 Legendary Ace Unit (75%)

"Huh... 75% progress already? Damn, that’s impressive," Ethan muttered, eyebrows lifting in surprise. Then a wide, satisfied grin spread across his face.

Because if he rembered correctly, the last ti he checked Orryn’s evolution progress, it had only been around 41%. Not even halfway there.

And now?

Orryn had nearly doubled that progress in just a few months. That was a huge leap forward—more than Ethan had expected, honestly.

He had every reason to be pleased.

Of course, it wasn’t all Orryn’s doing.

Part of that boost ca from the Order Dragon Asha’s Power Fragnt (Grade C) Ethan had given him.

Yeah, after rewarding one of those fragnts—and a Zylarion’s Arcstone—to the Ancient War Tree Oakenmaw, Ethan had given the final Order Dragon Asha’s Power Fragnt (Grade C) to Orryn.

To be fair, Ethan hadn’t been entirely sure how much a Grade C fragnt would actually boost a Legendary Ace Unit’s Primordial Force. But the results spoke for themselves.

And they were damn good.

More than good enough.

After all, sotis, being satisfied with what you’ve got is the key to happiness.
