BOOOOM!
At the sa ti, that terrifying storm overhead was growing wilder by the second—bigger, louder, more intense—until finally, it exploded into a massive cocoon of light and wind swirling above the Erald Castle, stretching tens of thousands of feet across the sky.
The mont that monstrous phenonon appeared,
it sent shockwaves through the entire region.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Figures streaked across the sky,
racing toward the eye of the storm.
A closer look revealed them to be Green Dragon Saebryn, Green Dragon Syl’nakar, and Seraphina, all flying in fast.
"Holy crap... What the hell is that? Is that... is that the evolution of a Crimson Ultimate Hero?!" Saebryn stared up at the glowing storm cocoon, eyes wide with disbelief, his voice trembling with shock.
"This energy... it feels so familiar. Wait—this is Green Dragon energy too... Hold on, isn’t this that guy Orryn? No way. He evolved?! How the hell did he pull that off in such a short ti?!" Syl’nakar muttered, clearly stunned, his mind struggling to catch up with what he was seeing.
Just a couple of days ago, during that brutal battle,
they’d fought alongside Orryn. They’d seen him in action, even tead up with him. Which is exactly why this sudden transformation was blowing their minds.
Sure, Orryn had been strong—way stronger than them, no doubt about that.
But to leap from that level all the way to a Crimson Ultimate Hero? That was a whole different league.
And yet... here it was.
In just a few days,
Orryn had gone from an Ace Unit to a full-blown Crimson Ultimate Hero.
It hit them like a seismic shockwave—
a total ga-changer.
"He actually evolved..." Seraphina murmured, a small smile tugging at her lips. She looked genuinely excited.
Orryn had always been like a little brother to her and Cicero.
Now, seeing her "kid brother" finally level up into a Crimson Ultimate Hero?
Yeah, she was proud. Damn proud.
RUMMMMMMBLE...
anwhile, the storm above was reaching a whole new level of chaos—
its fury intensifying, its energy surging outward in violent waves.
The vortex at its center expanded, forming a massive whirlpool of light and wind.
From deep within that vortex, a gravitational pull began to radiate outward—
a force so strong it started dragging in elental energy from every direction.
The skies, the distant forests,
even the very air around them began to shimr as raw elental power was sucked toward the storm.
Within seconds, those energies converged into glowing rivers of elental force,
all flowing into the heart of the storm, feeding it, making it even more ferocious, more unstoppable.
And then—
just as suddenly as it had begun—
the storm started to calm.
The winds died down.
The light dimd.
CRACK!
With a final shattering sound, the storm burst apart—
and Orryn erged from the center, floating high in the sky.
He was bigger now.
Stronger.
His entire body radiated power—deeper, more refined, more dangerous than before.
Ding!
"Congratulations, Player Valkarion. Your Hero Unit, Green Dragon Orryn, has completed evolution!"
Ding!
"Congratulations, Player Valkarion. Your Hero Unit, Green Dragon Orryn, has unlocked a new innate skill: Combat Breathing!"
Seeing the notifications pop up,
Ethan imdiately pulled up Orryn’s status panel again, eager to check out the new stats.

Overall Evaluation: Crimson Ultimate Hero – Grade C (8%)
"Just as I thought... a Grade C Crimson Ultimate Hero," Ethan muttered, shaking his head slightly.
The weight on his chest finally lifted.
A C-rank evolution wasn’t bad at all. At the very least, it ant Orryn wouldn’t be scraping the bottom of the barrel among Crimson Ultimate Heroes.
That was already a solid outco.
After all, not everyone could be like Cicero, Seraphina, or Kyros—those freaks who’d broken through racial limits and reached B-rank, or even higher.
In fact, for most 13-Tier Legendary Units who managed to evolve into Crimson Ultimate Heroes, the majority were stuck at D-rank.
Easily over 70% of them, maybe even more.
That’s just how the pyramid worked—
the base was wide, the peak was narrow.
Simple as that.
Still, a Crimson Ultimate Hero was a Crimson Ultimate Hero.
With Seraphina, Cicero, Kyros, Oakenmaw, Kaiin, himself, and now Orryn, that made seven Crimson Ultimate Heroes under Erald Castle’s banner.
Seven.
That was no small number.
"My Lord!"
Just then, Orryn descended from the sky, landing in front of Ethan with a heavy thud. Without hesitation, he dropped to one knee, bowing deeply with gratitude burning in his eyes.
"My Lord, thank you!"
"Thank you for giving the chance to evolve again!"
"How do you feel?" Ethan asked with a grin.
"Incredible!" Orryn’s voice was full of fire. "I’ve never felt this strong before. My Lord, I’m ready—more than ready—to fight for you, to conquer new lands, to crush your enemies!"
"It’s because of you that I’ve co this far. I want to repay that gift... So please, give a mission. I’ll give it everything I’ve got. I’ll be your spear—piercing through anything and anyone that stands in your way!"
He was practically vibrating with excitent.
"Alright, alright, get up," Ethan chuckled. "Don’t worry, you’ll have plenty to do soon. But first, we need to figure out how to level you guys up fast."
But as he said that last part,
his smile faded slightly, and his expression turned thoughtful.
He had seven Crimson Ultimate Heroes now.
But Oakenmaw, Kaiin, and Orryn had only just awakened. They were still far from reaching the second awakening—what he considered the true divine-tier power level.
It might sound a little arrogant,
but from where he stood now,
a Crimson Ultimate Hero without a second awakening... wasn’t much of a threat. Not really.
So his priorities were clear.
First, he needed to raise the ceiling—push the already second-awakened Seraphina, Cicero, and the others to even greater heights.
Second, he had to rapidly boost the overall strength of the newer Crimson Ultimate Heroes—Oakenmaw, Orryn, Kaiin—the ones still at the lower end of the power curve.
"But how the hell am I supposed to do that?" he muttered, frowning.
