Auremax and the rest of their allies followed suit, channeling their strength to support the effort however they could.
Ethan hovered in midair, his body glowing with a rising intensity. The energy around him condensed, forming a massive arcane construct—a colossal set of glowing shackles suspended in the sky.
"Let’s see how you like the taste of the Soulbind Shackles!"
With a shout, Ethan hurled the glowing chains downward. They snapped into place around the Dark Sovereign, locking onto her with a thunderous CLANG.
But just as he began chanting the incantation to reinforce the binding, a surge of dark violet energy erupted from the Dark Sovereign’s body—unlike anything they’d seen before. The shackles shattered instantly, blown apart like glass under a hamr.
Ethan’s eyes widened in disbelief.
He hadn’t expected her to be this powerful.
He steadied his breath, then turned sharply toward Seraphina and Cicero.
"You two—now! Channel everything you’ve got into !"
Neither of them hesitated. Without a word, they redirected their energy, pouring it straight into Ethan.

But Ethan didn’t flinch.
He took one last breath, then hurled the new Soulbind Shackles with all his might.

The chains slamd into the Dark Sovereign, and this ti, they held. The golden runes ca alive, crawling across her body like glowing vines, weaving into golden threads that wrapped around her limbs, her torso, her throat—binding her completely.
Even the violet orb she’d conjured was caught in the web, locked down and sealed within the shackles.

The Dark Sovereign’s eyes went wide with panic. She hadn’t expected this. Not from him.
"No! This can’t be! You’re just a lowly insect—how could you possibly wield this kind of power?!"
Her scream was cut off as the Soulbind Shackles detonated in a blinding flash, swallowing her whole in a storm of golden fire and violet chaos.
Ethan collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath. His legs gave out, and he dropped to his knees, then slumped onto the dirt.
He was completely drained.
That kind of power—channeled into him so quickly—would’ve torn most people apart. The fact that he’d not only survived it, but managed to shape it into a weapon and unleash it, was nothing short of incredible.
