The ground shook violently, the entire mountain trembling as if it were about to collapse.
Chunks of rock broke loose and ca crashing down, rapidly filling the cavern.
Ethan’s eyes widened in shock. He unleashed a burst of energy, blasting away the falling debris and carving out a pocket of space to take cover.
"What the hell is going on?!"
"Damn it—don’t tell there’s another monster hiding in here?!"
Even Karlogh and Seraphina were starting to panic, their expressions twisted with fear—as if they’d just seen sothing truly terrifying.
And then, from the cracked and crumbling earth, a figure erged out of nowhere.
When Ethan and the others saw it, their faces went pale.
"What the hell... is that a kid?"
The figure that appeared looked like a little girl—barely ten or eleven years old, tops.
She stood there, glancing around curiously, like she was searching for sothing.

Her gaze locked onto Ethan.
"Aw, co on... why ?!" Ethan’s heart dropped. He was alone, no allies left, and the power radiating from this girl was off the charts—way beyond anything he could handle.
Worse yet, his system couldn’t even scan her. No data, no stats, nothing.
He knew exactly what that ant.
"This girl... she’s no kid. She’s a damn monster."
While Ethan was still trying to process everything—

The girl floated up, hovering gracefully right in front of him.
"Was it you?" she asked, her voice calm but piercing. "Did you swallow my Darkheart Orb?"

But before they could get close, the girl moved.

In an instant, a storm of blade-like wind slashed through the air, engulfing the two attackers.

"You dare try a sneak attack in front of ?" she snarled, her voice now laced with fury. "Fine. I’ll grant you your wish."

The sweet, innocent-looking girl from monts ago had vanished—replaced by sothing savage, sothing demonic. Like a Demon Queen straight out of hell.

The wind blades ca crashing down, slicing clean through Karlogh and Seraphina.
"AAAHHH!"
Their screams echoed through the cave.
"rcy! Please—!"
They turned and bolted in opposite directions, desperate to escape.
The girl just smirked coldly, watching them flee. She didn’t bother chasing them.
Instead, she turned back to Ethan, floating closer again.
"I’ll ask one more ti," she said, her eyes narrowing. "Did you swallow the Darkheart Orb?"
Ethan gave a helpless shrug and let out a bitter laugh. "If you an that blood-red orb, then yeah, maybe. But I didn’t know it was yours. It just... forced its way into ."

The girl was silent for a mont.
Then she shook her head slowly.
"I wish it was mine," she said softly. "But unfortunately... it’s not."
"...Not?"
"That was the Darkheart Orb—one of the supre relics of the Citadel of Shadows. And now that it’s chosen you... that makes you my master."
"I’ll help you conquer this world."
"...Huh?"
Ethan blinked, mouth hanging open.

Master?
What the hell was happening?
This was not the direction he expected things to go.
But then he took a breath, forcing himself to stay calm.
Because one thing was clear—he’d just gained a powerful new ally in this world.
"So... what do I do now?" he asked.
The girl looked at him for a second.
Then, without warning, she lunged forward—and sank her teeth deep into his shoulder.

In that instant, sothing strange and powerful connected Ethan and the girl—no, the creature—now standing before him. Their auras intertwined, their powers resonating like two pieces of the sa puzzle snapping into place.
But Ethan? He was just standing there, looking completely miserable.
"She bit ," he muttered under his breath, rubbing his shoulder.
If this wasn’t clearly so kind of magical contract ritual, he would’ve flung her off him without a second thought.
