Before long, most of the delicious Phantom Jelly Tempura had disappeared into Ethan’s stomach. If he hadn’t been completely stuffed, he probably would’ve devoured the entire jellyfish.

He took a mont to catch his breath, then leaned back against the wall, focusing on the subtle shifts in energy within his body.

He was finally getting used to the power of this world—and he could feel the divine energy inside him growing stronger.

Back when he first entered The Dark World, the system had ntioned that this world held the power to defeat the Dark Sovereign. It had to be referring to this divine energy.

At first, he couldn’t absorb it at all. It had slowly started to accumulate in his body over ti, but the process was painfully slow.

Now, he could actually absorb it by eating jellyfish at? How could he not be excited?

"Hey, do you think we could catch a few more of those Phantom Jellyfish?" he asked.

Namyanna shook her head. "That’s not your average jellyfish. Unless it shows up on its own, there’s no way to catch it. But... if Master really wants more, I can try diving into the deep sea to find a few."

Ethan imdiately felt a little guilty. Of course a creature like that wasn’t sothing you could just scoop up whenever you wanted. His request had definitely been a bit much.

Then, sothing clicked in his mind.

He turned to Namyanna. "Actually, what I really want is the unique energy of this world. Are there any other creatures like that jellyfish—ones that carry that sa kind of power?"

Namyanna’s eyes lit up with understanding. "Master, you an the Dark Holy Power?"

"Yes!" Ethan nodded quickly. "And there’s another one... it feels like death, but there’s sothing else mixed in with it."

As a King-class powerhouse in this world, Namyanna imdiately understood what he was talking about.

"In our world, there are three major types of energy: Death-Aligned Power, Dark Holy Power, and the Space-Devouring Force. All three are unique to this realm."

"They’re all offshoots of the Primordial Force—basically, they’re like advanced magical attributes, fused together into sothing even more powerful. And the craziest part..."

"All three can be absorbed—devoured, really. But it’s not easy. Most of the ti, it cos down to luck. Eating certain things is one way to do it. If you want to give it a shot, Master, I can help you."

Ethan’s eyes lit up.

This was exactly what he’d been hoping for.

"Then I’ll be counting on you."

Namyanna didn’t say anything more. She simply gave a graceful nod and stepped out of the cabin.

That’s when Ethan noticed—her rmaid tail was gone. In its place were two long, pale legs. Perfectly shaped, smooth as porcelain, and paired with her proud, elegant figure, she looked like sothing out of a dream.

He shook his head to clear it, then grabbed another piece of Phantom Jelly Tempura and popped it into his mouth.

They’d been sailing for days now, and still hadn’t seen a single scrap of land. He had no idea where the person Namyanna was looking for might be.

And the air over the ocean...

It carried a strange, corrosive energy that made Ethan feel uneasy.

But he could tell—buried within that corrosive force was the sa unique energy that defined this world. Still, he didn’t dare absorb it recklessly.

Just then, a strange bubbling sound echoed from the sea not far off. Huge clusters of bubbles burst from the water, frothing up into thick foam on the surface.

Ethan frowned. He hadn’t seen anything like this the entire ti they’d been at sea.

He was just about to move in for a closer look when—

Ataneya suddenly burst in, grabbed his arm, and yanked him back into the cabin.

"Master, you must not go out there. Don’t make a sound. No matter what happens outside, do not move."

Ethan’s eyes widened. He had no idea what was going on. Before he could even ask, Namyanna rushed in after her, looking just as alard.

"Master, don’t say a word," Namyanna whispered urgently. "We’re entering the territory of the Death Sea God. She’s incredibly powerful. Even if Ataneya and I joined forces, we’d still be in serious trouble. Whatever you do, don’t provoke her... or else—" She didn’t finish the sentence, but the warning in her voice was crystal clear.

The Death Sea God?

Ethan froze. Both Ataneya and Namyanna were 14th-tier Crimson Ultimate heroes—S-class powerhouses. And yet, they were afraid of soone?

Whoever this Death Sea God was, she had to be terrifying beyond belief.

Ethan didn’t say another word. He imdiately went still and silent.

Vmmm—

Suddenly, a strange, otherworldly energy surged around them, wrapping the entire ship in its grip. A violent wave of Death-Aligned Power followed, seeping into the cabin like a creeping fog.

Ethan’s eyes widened in shock. The corrosive force within that Death-Aligned Power was overwhelming. His clothes were already starting to disintegrate, and it wouldn’t be long before it began eating into his flesh.

"Shit!" he muttered.

Namyanna and Ataneya were just as alard. They both unleashed their own powers at once, forming a protective barrier around Ethan.

Zzzzzzz!

But the barrier barely held. The corrosive energy kept eating away at it, relentless and unstoppable.

"We’ve been discovered," Namyanna said, her voice tight with panic. "This is bad. Really bad."

Ethan’s breathing grew ragged. He summoned every ounce of power he had, trying to push back the invading force—but it was useless.

Worse still, the energy didn’t just attack—it probed. The mont it entered his body, it began to snake toward his core, like it was analyzing him, trying to understand what kind of power he held.

Ethan’s pupils dilated. He’d never experienced anything like this before. If he let this force take over, it wouldn’t just hurt him—it would consu him.

Then, just as he was about to lose control, sothing deep inside him stirred.

A strange, radiant energy burst from within—an echo of the two sacred orbs he’d absorbed earlier. Their fused essence suddenly flared to life.

BOOM—

The divine energy collided with the corrosive force inside him, and—

Vmmm!

They resonated.

Before Ethan could even process what was happening, the Death-Aligned Power began to rge with his own energy. It didn’t just stop attacking—it started obeying him.

Ataneya and Namyanna could feel the shift too. They exchanged stunned glances. That kind of corrosive power was sothing even they feared... and yet Ethan was absorbing it—controlling it.

Then, without warning—

VMMM!

A flash of light filled the cabin. A portal shimred into existence right in front of them, and from it stepped a woman—tall, graceful, and impossibly alluring.

Her curves were mature, her presence commanding, and her aura practically dripped with Death-Aligned Power. Even her voice, when she spoke, was like silk laced with danger.

"Who are you?" she asked, her tone calm but sharp. "Why do you possess the Primordial Force of this world?"

The mont she spoke, Ethan felt his heart skip a beat. Her voice alone stirred sothing in him—sothing primal.

She was beautiful, yes, but it was more than that. She radiated a kind of dark majesty that made it hard to look away.

When he didn’t answer right away, she frowned. "I asked you a question. Why aren’t you answering ?"

Snapping out of it, Ethan slowly stood up. "You said... Primordial Force?"

She nodded. "There are ten Primordial Forces in this world. Each one represents a fundantal aspect of our reality. And sohow, you carry two of them inside you."

Ethan’s mind clicked. So those two orbs he’d absorbed—they weren’t just powerful artifacts. They were fragnts of this world’s very foundation.

"And you?" he asked, eyes narrowing. "Who are you?"

The woman didn’t answer. Her expression turned cold, her gaze locking onto him like a predator sizing up prey.

Ethan’s heart thudded in his chest. Sothing about her stare made his instincts scream.

His eyes flicked with tension—and in the next instant, he took a step back.

BOOM!

He unleashed his own power, forming a dense energy shield around himself, ready for a fight.

But the woman didn’t react with hostility. She didn’t even flinch.

Instead, she reached into the folds of her robe and pulled out a glowing orb—one that pulsed with a strange, srizing energy.
