"Damn it—no way! How the hell are you a Dragon God with pure Primordial Celestial Dragon blood?!"

In an instant, the expression on Zerathor—the Skyfiend Overlord of the Sky Citadel—twisted into a furious, ashen grimace. His eyes burned with murderous rage.

He looked absolutely livid.

But then, with a cold snort, he sneered and said icily, "Hmph! So what if you’re a Dragon God with pure Primordial Celestial Dragon blood? You think that makes you one of those invincible legends from the old days? Don’t flatter yourself. I’ll let you in on a little secret—I’ve already devoured the power of a Dragon God myself!"

"That’s right. I now wield the sa power as you. Got it?!"

"And today, I’m going to feast on all of you!"

"ROAR!"

Zerathor’s voice rose into a thunderous roar, his words crashing down like a storm.

His aura exploded outward—terrifying, overwhelming.

At the sa ti, Idra’s expression turned cold and focused.

"Idra, let’s take him down together!" Ethan said, his voice just as icy. Over the past weeks, their fusion had reached a near-perfect state.

So even against a monster like this, he wasn’t backing down. If it ca to a fight to the death—so be it.

"Yes, Father!" Idra nodded firmly.

Then, without hesitation, he rged with Ethan in a flash of light.

BOOOOM!

In that mont—

Their combined power surged like a tidal wave.

Energy erupted from their fused form, raw and unstoppable, radiating with overwhelming strength.

"Hmph!"

"Fools rushing to their deaths!"

Zerathor let out a cold laugh, then raised his arm and gave a sweeping command.

"Attack! Tear them apart! Kill them all!"

BOOOOM!

The battlefield exploded into chaos.

The clash erupted instantly into a full-blown war. Zerathor hadn’t co alone—he’d brought the elite of the Sky Citadel, their most powerful warriors.

They were strong enough to rival the entire Erald Castle.

And worse—

They outnumbered them. By a lot.

At least several tis over.

"We’ll have to end this fast..."

"Let’s go!"

Ethan growled and launched himself forward, charging straight at Zerathor without hesitation.

"Hah! You’re asking for death!" Zerathor snarled, his aura flaring as he t Ethan head-on.

The collision unleashed a shockwave that shook the heavens.

BOOM!

BOOOOM!

BOOOOM!

BOOOOM!

...

A violent, black storm of energy erupted from Zerathor’s body, sweeping across the battlefield like a living nightmare.

The air reeked of sulfur and blood, thick and choking, as if the sky itself was trembling.

At the heart of that storm, a monstrous demonic figure began to take shape—

Towering like a mountain, with twisted horns and a mouth spewing crimson fire. Dozens of pitch-black tendrils writhed behind it, lashing the air like they were trying to tear the world apart.

Its blood-red eyes snapped open, radiating a suffocating, murderous intent.

Zerathor raised his hand and flung it forward like a puppeteer hurling his creation.

The demon’s massive claws swept out, ripping through space itself. The shockwave that followed was like the end of the world—an apocalyptic blast of destruction barreling straight toward Ethan.

At that exact mont, Ethan’s face showed not a trace of fear. Instead, raw power surged in his hands, condensing into a massive golden dragon that launched straight at the demonic phantom.

BOOM!

KRRAAAK-BOOM!

The instant their powers collided, the sky itself seed to scream. Thunderous shockwaves exploded outward, the deafening roar forcing soldiers on both sides to cover their ears in pain.

The sheer force unleashed by both combatants—

Was absolutely monstrous.

They were both operating at the peak of Tier 16—SS-class power.

But Ethan, fused with Idra, had gone even further—his strength had skyrocketed to SSS-class.

His power was maxed out.

And just like that, after only a few brutal exchanges, the terrifying Skyfiend Overlord of the Sky Citadel—Zerathor—was already losing ground. He was completely on the defensive, getting hamred blow after blow.

"This... this can’t be!" Zerathor’s pupils shrank, his face twisted in disbelief.

He was one of the top-tier powerhouses in the entire Sky Citadel. And yet now—he was losing? That reality hit him like a sledgehamr.

But it was undeniable.

It was happening right in front of him.

And he had no choice but to accept it.

His power was being completely suppressed. Worse, the blood-red gem embedded in his chest—his core—was starting to dim, its glow fading rapidly.

Ethan noticed it imdiately.

That gem... it was the source of Zerathor’s power. If he could destroy it, he could cut off the bastard’s strength completely.

The mont that thought hit him, his mind locked onto a plan.

BOOOOM!

In the next instant—

A massive golden greatsword materialized in Ethan’s hand, radiating divine energy.

"No—!" Zerathor’s breath hitched, panic flashing across his face. He hadn’t expected this. The power Ethan and Idra unleashed together was far beyond anything he’d prepared for.

He knew he couldn’t stay here any longer.

He began channeling every ounce of energy he had, trying to force Ethan back just long enough to escape.

CRACK!

But before he could even finish gathering his strength—

That colossal golden sword ca crashing down from above, slamming into his shoulder and shattering the energy he’d just built up.

He didn’t even have ti to react.

Ethan was already in front of him.

And with a roar, he drove his fist straight into the blood-red gem in Zerathor’s chest.

CRACK-CRACK-CRACK—

BOOOOM!

The sound of shattering crystal echoed like gunfire.

The gem exploded into dust.

Zerathor’s eyes went wide with horror.

That gem... it was his Primordial Force—his very essence.

And now it was gone.

Destroyed.

He was finished. He couldn’t summon even a flicker of power.

"AAAHHH!"

"No! What did you do?!"

"How—how did you know that was my weakness?!"

Ethan didn’t bother answering. After fighting the Sky Citadel’s forces for this long, he’d figured out their pattern—every one of them had a gem that served as their energy core.

And more importantly—

He was stronger than all of them now.

That was all that mattered.

Power surged from Ethan’s body like a tidal wave, flooding into Zerathor’s broken form, tearing him apart from the inside.

BOOOOM!

BOOOOM!

BOOOOM!

...

Zerathor’s eyes bulged, his mind reeling. He never imagined he’d end up like this. Around him, the Skyfiends and Fiend-Dragons he’d brought from the Sky Citadel were being slaughtered.

The warriors of Erald Castle fought like they had no fear of death.

Even those on the brink of dying would unleash every last drop of power in a final, desperate attack.

So of them turned their own bodies into living bombs, charging into enemy ranks and detonating themselves in a blaze of glory.

That kind of suicidal ferocity—

It sent a wave of terror crashing through the Sky Citadel’s army.

They didn’t dare stay any longer.

Especially now that their Skyfiend Overlord—Zerathor—had been defeated.

If they stuck around...

They’d only die more horribly.
