Now reading: Chapter 116: Kyrian vs Feng Yuan from Mystic Eyes: My Eyes Steal the Laws of Cultivation, a Eastern novel by RogueArvy.

In the open clearing between the great trees of the sect’s central area, two swords were drawn at the sa ti.

A sharp sound echoed through the clearing.

Imdiately, an intense pressure filled the space. Feng Yuan released a pressure of the Qi Liberation Realm equal to Kyrian’s, along with an incomplete sword intent, but one dense enough to be felt from afar.

The ground beneath his feet cracked, and the nearby vegetation seed to bow slightly before him.

Kyrian, in turn, rely raised his gaze slightly.

His sword was drawn from its sheath in a clean motion, without a sound.

And then, the true sword intent spread.

The atmosphere changed.

The air, once heavy from Feng Yuan’s presence, beca even sharper.

Tianhai felt his own sword vibrate and touched it lightly with his intent, calming it.

Yanyu took a deep breath, her heart racing. Even she, who had seen Kyrian fight countless tis, felt that this mont was different.

Feng Yuan smiled.

"You seem to have grown even stronger, boy..."

And then, in the next instant, they both moved.

The ground exploded. The swords clashed, and the tallic sound spread in waves that sliced through leaves and scattered the wind.

Each strike produced a sharp, lingering arc, and every block left deep marks on the stone ground.

Yanyu watched, barely blinking.

The speed was much greater than she could rember, and the movents of the two were sothing she could not completely follow or understand.

Even so, she felt each exchange, each motion. Their sword intents and experiences clashed constantly, bringing forth new insights in her mind.

Tianhai, standing beside Yanyu, had never seen the leader fight with such seriousness, even in training. When they sparred, Feng Yuan usually handled all his attacks effortlessly.

Kyrian, in the middle of battle, began to notice sothing.

Every movent of Feng Yuan, though predictable before, had always been difficult to counter because of his experience and his precise responses.

But now, it seed clearer. He could see the attacks before they even began, and, unlike before, his body reacted imdiately.

There was no more delay, no hesitation, his eyes and mind seed to beco one, acting together with more ease than ever.

Before, he could see... but until his mind understood and processed the information to then act, even though it had seed extrely fast before, now he realized it had been slow.

Now, after the book had sent that energy into him, Kyrian could see and act almost simultaneously.

The sound of swords continued without pause.

Shockwaves ford where the blades crossed, and each clash made their ears tremble.

Feng Yuan was more experienced, more seasoned. Every strike carried decades of mastery over his sword path.

But Kyrian was not far behind, his control, perception, and calmness in battle were absolute.

In technique and experience, Feng Yuan had the advantage. But in perception, Kyrian was utterly unbeatable.

Ti passed. No one knew how long, the clearing now seed slightly devastated.

Broken stones, severed trees, and cutting winds swirled between them.

Then, Feng Yuan took a step back and sighed. His gaze changed.

It was ti to fight for real.

"Seven Leaves Sword!" he said.

Suddenly, his Qi exploded.

His blade moved with greater speed, and then seven sword traces appeared, overlapping in the air like leaves flying in the wind.

In an instant, seven slashes split apart, attacking Kyrian from all sides, seven directions, seven angles difficult to defend against.

But Kyrian only smiled.

The blade-shaped eyes glead.

He slowly raised his hand to one of his eyes and pulled.

An ethereal sound echoed.

From within his pupil, a sword made of pure energy was drawn out. And as Feng Yuan’s attack completed, the seven blades were blocked simultaneously.

A deafening sound echoed across the clearing.

Feng Yuan froze, astonished.

Even Tianhai and Yanyu were speechless.

The energy blade floated beside Kyrian, vibrating like a living presence, almost sentient.

A cutting pressure emanated from it, ford of pure sword intent and an extrely pure, concentrated sharp Qi.

"This..." Feng Yuan murmured suddenly.

"What is this?"

Kyrian kept his steady gaze.

"My innate talent. I finally understood the path I must follow. I won’t use techniques or fight like other cultivators. My eyes are my true weapon." He replied calmly.

Then Kyrian raised his hand again. His other pupil shone, and another sword was pulled from his left eye.

Now, two blades of pure energy floated around him.

The wind blew, lifting dust, leaves, and fragnts of stone.

Kyrian didn’t take a single step forward.

But the two swords advanced together, moving according to his gaze.

Feng Yuan responded instantly, releasing multiple sect techniques, chained strikes, thrusts cutting through space, and walls of Qi rising like barriers to defend him.

But nothing escaped Kyrian’s eyes. Every movent, every intent, every micro gesture, all was seen.

And the swords acted before the leader’s attacks were even completed.

It was like fighting two ghosts, swords that moved as if they had their own consciousness, anticipating attacks and undoing them before they could take form.

Feng Yuan began to retreat, feeling the pressure rise.

Tianhai watched, his body rigid.

"This... this is impossible. What the hell are those blades?" he murmured, his voice trembling.

Yanyu, at his side, kept her eyes fixed on Kyrian, her chest tight.

She could see this wasn’t just power. Kyrian had absolute control over the fight.

’And those aren’t his only eyes...’ she suddenly thought, trembling even more.

Feng Yuan then gave a low roar, releasing an even greater amount of Qi. His cultivation rose to the final stage of the Liberation Realm.

His sword shone with a greenish light. And amid the battle, Feng Yuan’s eyes stopped focusing on Kyrian and instead fixed on the floating blades.

He began to feel sothing.

Comprehension.

The flow, the rhythm, the spirit of the blade, the pure sword intent present in Kyrian’s ocular swords.

Kyrian noticed it.

And instead of retreating, he advanced the blades with even greater force. The two floating swords crossed, forming an ’X’ of cutting energy that exploded against Feng Yuan’s blade.

The sound of impact echoed far away. Feng Yuan was pushed back, the ground cracking beneath his feet.

But now his eyes were shining. He had understood sothing, a spark of enlightennt.

Kyrian stopped attacking at that instant, remaining silent as he watched Feng Yuan look up at the sky with a distant gaze.

Then, a sound ca from the sect leader, low, yet it made every sword present vibrate.

Once again, Kyrian had made another cultivator comprehend the sword intent.

But this ti was different. Tianhai had understood sword intent because of his talent, he had already grasped the seed of intent. Without Kyrian, it would have been only a matter of ti before he understood true intent.

But Feng Yuan’s intent was different, it ca from the sa origin as Kyrian’s. The leader had followed a determined path, but never seeing the true intent beyond the slash the ancestor had left behind made it almost impossible to complete.

Now, however, upon seeing Kyrian’s complete intent, the two intents recognized each other. A realization overtook him, and finally, after countless years, the leader comprehended sword intent.

And then, in that instant, the sound reverberated even more, the entire field seed to vibrate with the sound of countless invisible swords.

"Haha... HAHA... HAHAHAHA!" Feng Yuan had been silent. Suddenly, he began to laugh.

It started slowly but soon beca a burst of genuine joy.

Kyrian only watched in silence. Feng Yuan’s laughter echoed through the clearing, blending with the sound of the leaves.

The pressure that had once filled the air disappeared completely.

Feng Yuan was still smiling, his eyes glowing intensely, the gaze of soone who, after decades of stagnation, had finally crossed an invisible wall.

His sword trembled slightly in his hand, as if responding to its master’s newfound joy.

Kyrian lowered his gaze, and then the two energy blades began to lose their glow and, under everyone’s watchful eyes, returned to his eyes as threads of light.

In an instant, silence returned.

Feng Yuan sheathed his sword and stepped forward, still chuckling softly, but with eyes shimring from restrained emotion.

As he approached, he spoke directly.

"Boy... I truly owe you my thanks."

"You’ve shown what I’ve sought for so many years."

"I did nothing. The master was already close. You simply saw the right mont," Kyrian said, shaking his head.

Feng Yuan watched him for a few seconds, then let out a small smile.

"Perhaps. But without you... I would have remained trapped for who knows how long."

Yanyu and Tianhai approached a little, not daring to interrupt the mont.

Yanyu looked at Kyrian with silent admiration. To her, it was almost impossible to grasp what he was becoming.

Tianhai, on the other hand, watched the leader with respect and mild confusion. This was a side of the leader he had never seen before. Moreover, Feng Yuan, standing there now, was completely different from before.

But then, suddenly, the leader’s expression changed. The smile vanished.

His brow furrowed sharply, and his gaze grew serious.

"I need to go now," he said abruptly, his voice firm and dry.

Before anyone could ask, Feng Yuan took a step and vanished.

In just a few seconds, the leader had disappeared from everyone’s sight, moving at a terrifying speed.
