Now reading: Chapter 412: Dream (2) from Mystic Eyes: My Eyes Steal the Laws of Cultivation, a Eastern novel by RogueArvy.

The more he thought about it, the more certain he beca. Sothing had happened. Sothing real. Sothing he still didn’t understand.

Then, a possibility imdiately appeared in his mind.

"Azhura’k."

The na echoed through his thoughts. And along with it ca an image.

The colossal creature is carrying the Sky Caravan. The gigantic being that blocked out the sun.

The only creature he knew large enough to possess an eye of that size.

Kyrian slowly sat up on the bed. Deep in thought.

"Was it him?"

The more he reflected, the more he compared the na he had heard in the dream with the creature he had seen in the skies, the more logical the theory seed.

"Azhura’k."

The colossal beast. The being that carried an entire city upon its back. And that apparently was asking for help.

But why? What could make a creature of that magnitude suffer? Who could possibly be powerful enough to injure it? Or imprison it?

Kyrian didn’t know. And that only increased his curiosity. Another question soon followed.

Was he the only one? Had only he heard that plea?

Or were other people in the city hearing the sa voice while they slept?

He had no answers. Only questions. Many questions. But one thing was certain.

Kyrian thought he should learn more before doing anything else. He needed to understand what Azhura’k was. He needed to discover why that creature was asking for help.

After going through that strange experience, after seeing that eye, after hearing that voice, and after feeling that pain, Kyrian couldn’t simply act as if nothing had happened.

Kyrian let out a sigh. A familiar feeling had arisen within him.

Curiosity.

The sa curiosity that had led him to Ming Hai’s tomb, not for the inheritance, but out of curiosity to et the Fire Spirit.

Little by little, Kyrian was discovering that, besides becoming stronger and stronger, he had other unspoken goals.

Experiencing different delicacies was definitely one of them. Learning more about the world was another. Discovering the secrets of cultivation was yet another.

Seeing the mysteries of this world. Its creatures. Its races. Its legends.

Kyrian wanted to et dragons, those legendary beings that ruled the skies, whose blood flowed through the veins of the Five-Horned Lava Lizard.

He wanted to see fairies, beings of light described in ancient scrolls as pure beauty.

He wanted to encounter elental spirits, like the Fire Spirit, but of other elents, of other natures.

It was a desire that existed within him. No matter how much he kept it hidden. No matter how little he spoke about it.

And this Azhura’k. It was undoubtedly one of the greatest mysteries he had ever encountered, Kyrian thought.

A colossal creature carrying a city upon its back. One that had traveled through the skies for tens of thousands of years.

And that was now asking for help.

"I’ll learn more first," he said to himself.

"Then I’ll decide what to do."

With the decision made, he stood up.

He washed his face. The water was cold and refreshing.

He put on a violet robe. The color matched his eyes perfectly, along with the tiny bolts of lightning dancing within his pupils.

He tied his hair into a simple bun. A few strands escaped and fell across his face.

Then he observed his reflection for a few seconds. He nodded with a certain degree of satisfaction.

He resembled his mother.

Especially his face and hair. The sa bone structure, the sa texture, the sa dark color.

But he did not have a feminine appearance.

Even among cultivators, where most people possessed decent looks and so were even handso, Kyrian would stand out.

"Not that it mattered."

He left the room.

The inn’s hallway was already bustling.

The sll of food drifted up from the lower floor. Sothing roasted, perhaps at, mixed with herbs and spices.

Cultivators constantly entered and exited their rooms, so carrying weapons, others carrying sacks of goods, while so were simply going about their lives.

The city was already awake. Kyrian descended the stairs.

"But before investigating Azhura’k..."

Kyrian needed to deal with another important matter. He needed to gather money. Or rather, spirit stones.

He still possessed many of them. The old man’s ring was full of them, thousands of middle-grade spirit stones, a fortune for any ordinary cultivator.

But he was also carrying a huge quantity of pills refined during his journey.

Rank 3 pills, hundreds of them, for Qi recovery, healing injuries, and temporary strengthening.

Rank 4 pills, dozens of them, more powerful, rarer, and more valuable.

Rank 5 pills, only a few, but each one worth even more.

Valuable resources.

And the Sky Caravan, with its diversity of cultivators, was probably the best possible place to sell them.

There were people here from every cultivation realm, from Qi Release to Spiritual Awakening and beyond.

There were people here from every region, North, South, East, West, and Central.

There were people here with a great deal of money.

With that thought, he left the inn.

The city’s streets were already crowded.

Not the chaotic movent of midday, when every market was open and people could barely walk.

But the organized activity of morning. rchants opening their stalls.

Cultivators are heading to their training.

Families buying supplies.

Kyrian walked calmly among the cultivators.

Observing the activity.

Paying attention to every sign, every placard, every indication.

After a few minutes, he approached a young man who seed to know the area well.

The young man’s clothes were simple, a gray robe, brown pants, and worn leather boots, but his eyes were lively and attentive.

"Where’s the best place to sell pills?" Kyrian asked.

The young man looked at him for a mont, evaluating him perhaps, his gaze moving across the violet robe, the unusual eyes, and the calm deanor.

Then he answered without hesitation.

"I recomnd the Alchemists Association."

"It’s the safest place."

"And it usually offers the best prices."

Kyrian nodded. It was exactly what he needed.

Kyrian handed the young man a middle-grade spirit stone and then, without wasting ti, began following the directions.

Turn left, go straight ahead, pass through the central square, turn right, cross the bridge over the artificial river.

As he walked through the streets of the Sky Caravan.

Toward the Alchemists Association.
