"..."

"Mr. Majie'er, you don't need to think of things as so far-fetched. To find the truth of everything, you just need to start from your own recent plans, and you can easily reach the real conclusion."

After a few seconds of silence, Ronald subtly pointed out the reason he ca before Majie'er.

But to be honest, he was a bit flustered inside.

Because the two answers Majie'er had just given, although they deviated sowhat from the actual situation, coincidentally touched upon issues much closer to the essence of Ronald's origin.

For example, entering these historical fragnts, Ronald indeed does not belong to this era; and if discussing identity and origin, he is indeed a traveler from another ti, not an original resident of this world!

Directly revealed by Majie'er in a single sentence, two realities.

Even though he knew it was a coincidence, Ronald couldn't help but feel a chill down his spine.

Though standing before him was only a shadow left by history, in terms of true capability and wisdom, this Majie'er was by no ans diminished in any way!

Ronald had many thoughts on his mind, but the aged Mage did not notice the awkwardness in his gaze.

Upon hearing this reminder, Majie'er simply lowered his eyebrows and imdiately understood everything.

After all, he was the absolute leader of this historical loop experint.

He didn't have such a thought before because he was deep in the mountains, leading him not to consider it. Now that Ronald pointed out the truth of the matter, how could Majie'er not understand?

"So now, I am just a fragnt in the historical loop, and you obtained my original manuscript in other loops, which is why you could co here to et ?"

Ronald nodded, affirming Majie'er's statent:

"That's right, and this isn't my second entry into the historical loop; in fact, it's already the third ti."

"In my previous experiences, I not only acquired your original manuscript but also obtained the original manuscript of the great Mage Shui during warti. This ti I entered Lachmont to find the last needed original manuscript."

To prove the reliability of his words, Ronald, as he spoke, took out Shui's original manuscript.

So, two original manuscripts belonging to Lachmont were presented together before them.

The slight doubt in Majie'er's heart disappeared at this mont without a trace.

"I see..."

"Though I was prepared for this experint, I didn't expect it to truly succeed and for soone like you to co afterward. Seeing you now, this experint should... should..."

At the beginning, there was a kind of sudden realization and joy in the expression of the aged Mage.

But it didn't take long for these sounds of emotion to beco weaker in his mouth, and finally, the old man's eyes beca exceedingly downcast:

"My experint ultimately failed, after all."

"If a correct path was found in this loop, the one coming here to awaken us shouldn't be you, nor would you need to painstakingly gather the original manuscripts."

"The greatest, or perhaps the only possibility — is that Lachmont has already co to an end with the failure of the experint, eventually worn away in history."

"You all discovered this strange city ruin after a long ti, which is why you set foot here, and had to walk such a path, right?"

Just like the first eting, Majie'er didn't actually need much explanation from Ronald. As long as he understood the causes, this wise Mage could deduce everything himself, and also understood Ronald's current predicant.

For such wisdom, Ronald genuinely with respect in his voice said:

"Mr. Majie'er, your guess is completely correct."

"I ca here not only to extricate myself but also to solve the dilemma of this relic's endless cycle, hence gathering the three original manuscripts."

"..."

In response to Ronald's answer, Majie'er nodded gently, with a tinge of sadness quickly leaving the old man's pupils.

Anyone daring to make such a choice wouldn't dread failure.

He imdiately accepted this—what was already, for him—an outco determined by the future failure, and his deanor returned to one of tranquil composure, while he addressed Ronald saying:

"In that case, I will certainly support your subsequent actions."

Seeing Majie'er once again choosing to support him, Ronald felt an imnse joy within.

But before he could express his gratitude,

the great Mage in front of him suddenly shifted the topic to another direction that intrigued Ronald himself;

"But young man, I have another question."

"In my era, that Hopes guy was already an old man, and from what I know of him, he would absolutely not seek other won to continue his bloodline."

"So, what's your background?"

"..."

Now two choices lay before Ronald.

The first is to conceal so information, just telling him what he knows of the history of the Adler family. Although such a statent would surely cloud the information with mist, Majie'er in front of him likely wouldn't mind.

As for the second thod...

It is to honestly confess everything.

If Ronald describes all his experiences since traveling here and how he acquired the original manuscript "Divine Cody" of the Sukhavati sect in Black Mountain, and even about encountering Lumi after that in Berynwich.

The Majie'er before him might not necessarily believe such a bizarre reality.

But once this wise elder accepts these facts, from his perspective, he could absolutely provide Ronald with unexpectedly imnse help!

Ronald has always been one with an adventurous spirit.

Especially now, in an environnt that in essence bears no real danger, just historical fragnts.

So, in front of Majie'er, he spoke very honestly:

"Mr. Majie'er, what I am about to say might seem a bit too surreal."

"But I assure you on my word that all of this is a very true part of my experience, even involving the creation of this world's original manuscripts."

The aged Mage originally asked about Ronald's background in passing.

Unexpectedly, the young man before him uttered such an exaggerated statent.

At that mont, Majie'er realized sothing, and his expression beca a bit more solemn than before:

"Young man, go ahead."

"For soone like , a shadow in the historical loop, you have no reason to deceive, I will believe you."

Ronald gave the old Mage a light nod, then solemnly began recounting his story:

"The beginning of everything harkens back to before I ca to this world. At that ti, I was investigating an ancient historical relic, hoping to docunt the history from the past."

"Who knew that just as I worked underground, a sudden earthquake struck..."
