Ronald still refused the request of the old priest.

Although he could understand the reasons behind the old priest's words, considering the situation inside the city of Hamon and the status of both parties' personnel, Ronald didn't think eting directly was a good idea.

Even the most likely scenario—

Was that as soon as they took the high priest away from the camp, warlike individuals would sense the old priest's departure and might incite the camp's people to make more irrational choices.

Thus, the old priest accepted Ronald's refusal with a bitter face.

How could he not understand the risky nature of his actions? He had only spoken out earlier because his heart was overly anxious.

...

The issues of the migrants and the city of Hamon could not be delayed.

After the three of them took off, they imdiately flew towards the city's direction.

The return journey went smoothly as before.

They quickly followed the sa route back to the special treehouse below where Councilor Dalman was located.

The initial eting saved them the trouble of a second notification.

So when they pushed the door open and walked in, the demon Ra led the way.

Much like a living permit, he escorted Ronald and Catherine back to Councilor Dalman's office.

Knock knock knock—

The three of them lightly knocked on the door and entered.

"...?"

"Mr. Ronald!"

Upon seeing the three return, Councilor Dalman stood up in surprise from behind his desk.

"Could it be that you've already dealt with the migrants outside the city so quickly?"

Ronald shook his head, decisively pouring cold water on the councilor in front of him:

"I'm sorry to bother you, Mr. Dalman. But our return this ti isn't because we've resolved the migrant issue; rather, we've brought you new trouble."

"..."

Dalman flopped back into his chair.

He dared not get angry at Ronald and Catherine for such a response, so he could only force a helpless smile on his face:

"Alright, I knew this issue wouldn't be easily resolved."

"So, Mr. Ronald, what bad news have you brought this ti?"

Ronald explained the encounters during this visit:

"In the migrants' tribe, we were received by their current leader, the high priest. He told us about the current situation of the migrant tribe, which is very troubleso..."

Ronald recounted his observations one by one.

In response, Councilor Dalman's expression changed from a wry smile to contemplation, finally becoming extrely conflicted.

This city councilor sorted through the files on his desk while speaking:

"Mr. Ronald, you really have brought a colossal trouble. Knowing about this—how could I continue to push forward with the expulsion plan as before."

Dalman's bitterness ca from two directions.

First, from the perspective of the city's ideology, continuing to expel such a pitiable tribe truly did not align with their traditional beliefs. On the other hand, advancing the expulsion plan was, for Councilor Dalman himself, also a threat.

Hamon does indeed have the ability to handle these people.

But over ti, if soone with intent discovers the truth and spreads the news…

Not to ntion anything else.

At the very least, Councilor Dalman himself would likely face long-term unemploynt in this city.

Tap—tap—tap—

Dalman's fingers lightly tapped on the desk as he fell into a rhythm of contemplation.

To him, this matter was quite tricky, and Dalman genuinely couldn't co up with a good solution at the mont.

"..."

"I say, as a city councilor, you should have considerable power, so why hesitate on such matters?"

Suddenly, Catherine spoke up, provoking Dalman who was deep in thought:

"To achieve great things, indecision is one of the biggest taboos. You should think it through~~"

"..."

Dalman clearly disagreed with Catherine's idea.

But he didn't dare to openly contradict the will of this powerful caster, so he could only force a stiff smile and then shifted his gaze to Ronald:

"Mr. Ronald, why don't we do this instead?"

"I'll send soone to privately communicate with the migrants to see if we can discuss a mutually acceptable outco. As for the transaction between you and —rest assured, as soon as this matter is successfully resolved, I'll imdiately hand over the counter-summoning teleportation spell to you both."

Though his tone seed sowhat weak, the implication in Councilor Dalman's words was quite clear.

He planned to have more trusted individuals handle the issue between the migrant tribe and himself, whereas Ronald and Catherine…

The teleportation spell technology would be taught to them, but not for free.

At least until the migrant tribe's issue was truly resolved, they would have to take up military responsibility, providing so level of military support for Dalman or, more broadly, the city of Hamon.

Dalman's proposal started off without any issues.

However, this slightly diverged from Ronald's perspective.

The distant southern fleet of Gred, as well as the remnants of the Nine Commandnts hidden far in the south, were awaiting Ronald's attention.

This was not a situation where one could comfortably delay.

"Mr. Dalman, Catherine and I are in a hurry, this matter must be resolved quickly…"

Ronald was about to state his position, but Dalman made a startling move.

This city councilor, after seeing Catherine exert her strength.

For the first ti, interrupted Ronald's next words, then spoke with a serious and sincere tone:

"Mr. Ronald, please have faith in !"

"I have no intention of keeping you both in the city of Hamon, I simply wish to ensure a certain degree of safety. Therefore, I can vouch for my character, I will absolutely resolve this matter as swiftly as possible, and allow you both to leave smoothly!"

After offering the guarantee, Dalman seed to feel that his words weren't persuasive enough.

Thus he patted his chest and added a constraint on himself:

"Three days, please give three days!"

"If the migrant issue isn't resolved within three days, I'll directly hand over the secret of the teleportation spell to you two, without any regret or complaint."

"..."

Having spoken to this extent, Ronald naturally couldn't continue pressing this city councilor.

He nodded in agreent, then gestured towards Catherine, and they left the office, descending the treehouse staircase.

Only a few seconds later, hurried footsteps approached from the staircase.

Turning back, they found the demon Ra rushing towards them, his face filled with endless sorrow:

"Both of you, Mr. Dalman has instructed to arrange your accommodation and facilitate your subsequent reception."

"If you don't mind—shall we walk together a bit longer?"
