Ronald and Catherine exchanged looks.

The atmosphere beca silent and awkward in this tense state.

From the ancient tos in their hands, it was clear that they actually had similar summoning abilities, but were not in the sa system as traditional Summoning Magic.

This situation, however, couldn't et the needs of teleportation spells.

They either had to quickly bind soone to study Summoning Magic on site,

or find a local caster skilled in this field to help transport them to the distant south.

Amid the silence, Catherine was the first to speak:

"Ronald, do you think we can find anyone adept in Summoning Magic here in Porta?"

Although they had just encountered this problem,

Ronald quickly made a judgnt and decision:

"Rather than slowly searching in Porta, we might as well return to Hamono and borrow a mage directly from under Dalman's command. After all, they developed this ability there, making it more reassuring to have them handle it."

Catherine agreed with Ronald's wise decision.

After sending the young officer to the so-called stone mansion,

they imdiately chanted a spell, rose into the sky, and then turned back towards Hamono.

During their trip here, carrying a weaker officer, Ronald and Catherine's flying speed was restrained.

This ti, it was just the two of them returning.

The speed was naturally much faster than before!

Uninford people in Porta, seeing the trails left in the sky, even thought it was so unique sky phenonon rather than people flying.

...

Not long after leaving the ground,

the city nestled between mountains and valleys disappeared from view, and the scene below Ronald and Catherine returned to the lush greenery of the forest.

However, after flying several kiloters, Ronald noticed sothing unusual ahead.

"Catherine, soone is coming towards us from the front, and they're on a direct collision course."

Catherine raised an eyebrow, instantly assessing the situation:

"Coming from this direction—it might be just in case Hamono has sent other ssengers for aid; or it could be the Lin Yin City army surrounding Hamono, taking precautionary asures as they wage war."

Caphina directly ruled out the option of fleeing residents.

The reason was simple—Ronald had ntioned the people were flying here using a flying spell.

Considering the identity of soone possessing such an ability,

even in the midst of war, it was impossible for both sides to encounter each other at this mont.

Of the two remaining options, Ronald was more inclined to the latter.

"I think it's the Lin Yin City army."

"Not just because of their ntality when flying, considering Hamono's besieged status, there's little chance they could send out such an elite caster for further external assistance."

For the weaker Hamono,

keeping the real elite in the city to fight off the enemy was almost a necessary choice.

"Ha—" Catherine had no objections to Ronald's judgnt and even shook her head with a smile, "So we'll have to fight these guys upon our return."

Their conversation was brief, but they encountered the other party swiftly.

Within just two or three minutes, the opposing parties t in the air. Ronald, with his excellent reconnaissance ability, spotted them a bit earlier.

Just as they suspected,

these people were indeed dressed as the Lin Yin City army.

The leader and the following team even vaguely ford a well-structured squad.

Even without much military knowledge,

one could see they were organized and could perform specialized tasks as an elite unit!

"Casters ahead, halt your flight imdiately!"

As the distance closed,

the soldiers of the Lin Yin City first spoke up, ordering Ronald and Catherine to stop moving while continuing to warn:

"The front is a war zone, unauthorized personnel are strictly prohibited from entering!"

However, Ronald and Kachina had no intention of responding to them, and their flying speed showed no sign of slowing down.

At this juncture, a mber behind the leader of the Lin Yin City flying unit reminded him:

"Captain, these two seem to be the ones who broke through Hamono's barrier earlier, only now they've reduced from three to two."

Once this reminder was uttered,

the atmosphere within the Lin Yin City flying unit imdiately turned distinct.

The mission assigned to this squad was indeed to enforce a curfew around Hamono's surrounding forest, to harass any reinforcents preliminarily while relaying news to the rear commanders.

In warti, they would treat ordinary casters with normal law enforcent; but for special personnel who had escaped from the attack target and then returned, addressing them promptly and rigorously was absolutely necessary!

"Shu'er, report back!"

"Everyone else, activate spells and prepare to annihilate the enemy!"

The leader of the flying unit issued the order instantly, and the dozen-mber team imdiately responded, with strong magic power fluctuations surging from their bodies.

This school of military casters fought in a manner distinctly different from ordinary casters.

With their flying ability, they couldn't only secure aerial attack and reconnaissance advantages.

The presence of such distinctive magic fluctuations also instilled fear in the struck enemies.

Thus, they never engaged in any stealthy magic control practices.

Find the target—relay the information—activate the spell—apply the strike.

The aerial caster battle plan had always been like this.

Everything should have been thus.

But today, they encountered enemies who couldn't be dealt with by such behavior.

As the leader of the flying unit gave the order and everyone prepared to launch an attack,

in their vision, Ronald and Catherine,

suddenly sped up!

The two figures, like two sharp swords, charged straight into their formation with incredible speed, completely devoid of caution and observation customary before engagent.

"Take action!"

"These two are abnormal, everyone stay alert!"

The leader's eyes narrowed, his excellent judgnt led him to realize the seriousness of the situation at that mont.

Even though they hadn't directly engaged yet,

based solely on the terrifying acceleration endurance and current flying speed of the two, it was determined that their physical constitution far surpassed what a normal human could endure.

Could Hamono's summoning mages possess such strong individuals?

The flying unit leader's mind first ran through the judgnt on the enemy's strength and whether the real strength of their warti target was miscalculated.

The subsequent concern was for their own safety.

With the capability of their squad, could they achieve victory under these two's hands?

However, reality no longer allowed him to ponder further.

In a flash of thought and at the instant his subordinates behind him began unleashing spells, preparing to greet the enemy,

Ronald and Catherine,

with unbelievable and astonishing speed, stord into their ranks!
