Because right then, a Caster hiding within the canyon fortress ruins suddenly beca active and charged out with quite a swift montum!
This fellow apparently possesses so reconnaissance magic.
Thus taking advantage of the opportunity while Ronald was here executing comrades, he urgently began to flee hoping to escape disaster.

Ronald imdiately drew his longsword, turned, and flew outside.
In the pitch-black ruins, chaos reigned, ash and the scent of decay from the burning lingered all around.

After asserting his decision, the doppelgänger pointed to the fortress remnants around, with a slightly bitter smile:
"I originally joined midway, hoping to find a peaceful day here comfortably. Speaking about opposing a powerhouse like you for an organization without belonging sense is really too irrational."
"To show goodwill, I know the information about the holder of ’Book of Interpretation’. He is also a poor soul controlled by the Nine Commandnts, you can find him in the stone chamber east of the fortress!"
