"So, you’re saying we have to wait another seven days?"

Ronald was satisfied with Orel’s cooperative attitude, but the actual situation left no room for relaxation or complacency.

"If we really have to wait that long, even if we chase into the Sacred City, the people of the Nine Commandnts Conclave will probably have already achieved their goals!"

"We can’t afford to wait that long at all!"

Faced with Ronald’s questioning, the King of Giant Beasts showed a troubled expression.

He understood Ronald’s anxious emotions, and even Orel himself felt the sa. However, the reality before him forced him to maintain his original stance:

"But I only have this one thod to enter the Sacred City."

Ronald stared into Orel’s eyes, asking urgently and quickly:

"Then tell , where is the seal located?"

"..."

The aning in Ronald’s words was clear. He wanted to find the location of the seal of the Sacred City and then find a way in on his own.

The King of Giant Beasts imdiately replied:

"This world itself is the spell entity sealing the Sacred City. To enter the seal, aside from using the prescribed thod, you know the remaining choices as well..."

The way to enter a seal, apart from the normal thod, is to break it or even destroy it directly.

It seed Orel was still fixated on his duty as a guardian.

In response, Ronald could only attempt to persuade him with calm analysis:

"Orel, temporarily breaking the seal and restoring it after everything is settled—is it possible; but if we don’t act imdiately and let those guys continue their reckless actions, do you think there will be any way to redy it later?"

However, Orel was not unwilling because of any stubbornness, as Ronald had thought.

After listening to Ronald’s persuasion, the King of Giant Beasts imdiately explained:

"Ronald, it’s not that I’m unwilling to make a choice. But the Forest of Songs world itself is the seal and has a high degree of unity. Interfering with it violently would cause it to collapse imdiately."

"..."

"This setup seems to be specifically designed to create trouble for those who co later!" Ronald felt his blood pressure rising quickly.

If things were really as Orel said, then Ronald had no way of proceeding.

If the Forest of Songs was simply a seal, destroying it would bring everyone back to the real world, and all would be well.

But unfortunately, this was a world structure nested in layers.

If to enter the Sacred City, this seal was destroyed, the entire world would naturally shift outward to the forest previously used as a transit point.

What would be the result then?

The small transit point unable to accommodate the vast internal world, bursting open and completely exposed to the void.

At that ti, the people of the Nine Commandnts Conclave would certainly be dood.

But Ronald himself, and all the life in the Forest of Songs, would likely face the fate of being swallowed by the void.

He had witnessed the danger of the void with his own eyes.

The warning of the Instinct spell had already indicated what end awaited those who fell into it.

To ensure the Sacred City within the seal was not liberated.

Whoever set all this up in the past had indeed gone to great lengths to create such a tricky situation.

Faced with this dilemma, Ronald couldn’t help but swear:

"Since such a ruthless seal could be set, why not simply destroy the Sacred City directly at the start! Now, all these troubles are left for those who co later!"

Ronald’s tone was sowhat out of control, and Costate did not dare to interrupt.

So this ti the roles reversed, and it was the King of Giant Beasts, Orel, who comforted Ronald:

"The Sacred City is, after all, the sacred city in the hearts of all priests. Choosing to seal it was already a monuntal decision. For the people of that ti, destroying it with their own hands was simply not within the realm of choice or imagination."

"..."

Ronald was silent for a few seconds.

When he spoke again, his face had returned to a calm state as he asked Orel with his initial deanor:

"In that case, theoretically, one can contact the Sacred City from anywhere in the Forest of Songs, right?"

Hearing this, Orel’s expression tightened:

"Ronald, are you still not planning to give up..."

"I know what matters, and I have no intention of cheapening my life." Ronald directly interrupted Orel, "Just tell if this is true."

"..."

The King of Giant Beasts paused for a mont, but eventually nodded:

"Yes, any place will do. However, this altar is the locale where the seal was once established, and due to the resonance of the magic power source point, it is theoretically the place where the Sacred City is easiest to perceive."

No wonder the Nine Commandnts Conclave people entered the Sacred City here.

Understanding this reasoning, Ronald had a plan and imdiately instructed Costate by his side:

"Costate, now go with Orel to his city and imdiately begin the ritual of entering the seal, ensuring this ritual is completed smoothly—can you do it?"

The maid imdiately bowed with the utmost solemnity to assure:

"Sir, nothing will disturb this process."

Having received Costate’s assurance, Ronald turned his head and silently observed Orel.

The King of Giant Beasts wasn’t as obedient as the maid.

His duties and knowledge of the Forest of Songs made it impossible for Orel to comply with Ronald unconditionally. Naturally, at this mont, he nervously asked:

"I have no problem returning with Miss Costate to prepare the ritual, but Ronald, do I understand from your words that you intend to stay here by yourself?"

Orel’s eyes were locked on the man before him.

He wanted to discern Ronald’s true thoughts, whether it would bring destruction to this world.

But even the King of Giant Beasts himself hadn’t realized that in his gaze at this mont, apart from vigilance toward this matter, there was also an imperceptible expectation.

"..."

"I’ll stay here for at most one to two days."

At this mont, Ronald spoke up without hiding his true intentions:

"Simply accepting a statent is difficult; I need to verify the result myself."

"And since the ritual takes seven days, there’s nothing wrong with continuing to try here. If it’s not feasible, I’ll catch up with you imdiately, with plenty of ti."

"..."

Orel did not respond imdiately but stood facing Ronald, both staring at the altar.

After a few dozen heartbeats, the King of Giant Beasts nodded:

"Alright, then we’ll act separately."

With those words, Orel imdiately began to move, his figure heading outwards, and Costate followed closely, fulfilling her commitnt to her master.

...

The figures of one person and one beast gradually receded.

Watching them leave like this, Ronald turned back toward the altar.

At this mont, he suddenly rembered Nicole’s prophecy for this journey and inexplicably chuckled.

"Haha—"

"It’s really quite dangerous, isn’t it..."
