After carefully discerning with concentration,
Ronald finally made out what was on the screen.
— It was a map.
Outlined by contour lines were the topographical changes in elevation surrounding the area; the coastline also had rather exquisite contours, and right by the sea, the city’s buildings were marked out in checkered blocks.
Ronald fell silent.
Faced with such a situation, he was sowhat undecided.
This kind of spell that could transform objects into maps was relatively easy to guess.
To put it recently, there were classic maps, like Yu’s Map or Map of the World, that could serve as references.
However, considering the contour lines, it was more likely to be a river map adopting the thod of depth lines or Dupont’s contour maps.
But then...
That made things even more complicated to explain.
Ronald was already quite familiar with the power of the original texts, the magical capabilities of these books in their respective fields were naturally beyond doubt.
So, for an original text of the type that’s a map, the strongest would probably be to change the terrain, or, like the Active Point Map in "Harry Potter", to gather intelligence.
As for prophetic abilities...
Was there really a map-type original text capable of satisfying such requirents?
It was completely inconsistent with the basic conditions of a prophetic spell, truly impossible to guess.
anwhile, as Ronald pondered these questions,
the old man on the stage continued to steadfastly advance his spell.
From the initial wide-reaching map, the screen within the light curtain gradually zood in, then focused on a location to the northwest of the city.
As the spell progressed to this phase, the elder initiated a new action.
He extended his right hand and lightly tapped a few tis upon the light curtain, at which the entire image beca securely fixed.
The solemn expression, the precise movents, the composed gaze.
The elder was now wholly imrsed in the spell, his face taking on a sheen from the light of the screen.
Most of those present were powerful Caster from the mysterious side.
Seeing this scene, they naturally knew this Prophetic Spell was reaching its most crucial mont.
Everyone held their breath as if by an unspoken agreent, striving not to make any noise that could disturb the elderly Caster.
After several breaths of silence—
At last, a different change occurred.
The turbulent magical powers in the auction house returned in an instant to the front of the elder, then quickly rged into the original text.
In a mont,
both the powerful magic and the light curtain that Ronald could barely make out, disappeared without a trace from the auction house.
When everything finally returned to calm, the elder’s hand trembled as he drew back the original text.
Then, with a pallid complexion, he bowed slightly to Claudia standing beside him.
"Your Highness Claudia, the result is out."
Claudia nodded to indicate she understood.
Out of so etiquette unknown to Ronald, she returned the gesture to the elder.
Then she instructed the other young won in white dresses to support the elder and turned her gaze to Ronald.
"Mr. Mandel, please directly inform Mr. Ronald of the result."
"I mustn’t delay any further, so you can get back to rest."
"Thank you for your consideration, Your Highness," the elder Caster said, expressing his gratitude upon hearing Claudia’s command. With the help of the girls in white, he turned around and then spoke to Ronald, explaining, "Sir, this prophetic spell was very successful, I have located the Lumiel you ntioned."
"At the very mont I was conducting the prophetic spell, it was situated in the Springs Organ District’s Lilac Path Garden."
"If you make it in ti now, you just might encounter it."
```
"..."
"Clover Path Garden?"
Ronald knew about the Organ District, which was a wealthy residential area of Springs, adjacent to the Riverbank District where Ronald himself lived.
But the na Clover Path Garden...
He didn’t have any idea about that.
So he got up from the chair decisively and imdiately looked over to Hughes beside him,
"Mr. Hughes, do you know this place?"
Hughes nodded and replied,
"Of course, that’s a sowhat famous small garden in the Riverbank District."
"Due to environntal managent and the influence of so people, that place is very popular among the ladies."
Pausing for a mont to think, Hughes continued,
"Hmm..."
"However, the Clover Path Garden is still so distance from here."
"If you leave right now by carriage, I’m afraid it will take more than twenty minutes to get there."
"..."
Now that he had finally received news about Mil, Ronald had no intention of lingering for small talk.
Nodding his thanks to Hughes, he imdiately asked,
"I understand. So, is there anything else required of here?"
"If it’s all right, I wish to head there now."
Hearing this, Hughes looked sowhat surprised.
He hadn’t expected Ronald to react this way at such a ti.
Especially since Claudia, one of the highest authorities in Gret and the empire’s first princess, was right in front of him.
Did this young man not even plan on leaving a good impression?
Nonetheless, though surprised, the Spellcaster quickly responded,
"No problem, leave everything here to ."
"Quickly go."
"..."
Hesitating for just a mont, Hughes glanced stealthily towards the podium before adding,
"Ronald."
"I hope you succeed in finding that guy nad Mil."
"Thank you." Nodding his thanks to Hughes, Ronald waved an apologetic goodbye to Claudia, "Both of you, I’m grateful for your help today. Due to ti constraints, I have to go imdiately. If there’s a chance later on, I will definitely make a formal apology to you for my rudeness today!"
Watching Ronald about to turn and leave,
the old man hadn’t spoken yet when Claudia stepped forward first:
"No problem, Ronald, just go confidently and boldly."
After seriously looking at Claudia for a few seconds, Ronald decisively left the auction hall.
Striding out of the entrance of "Brussels," Ronald imdiately hailed a rental carriage on the roadside.
"Sir, please take to the Clover Path Garden in the Organ District, and use your fastest speed. I’ll pay you an extra Gret."
"..."
"Ah?!"
Hearing Ronald’s words, the driver looked astonished.
However, he quickly recovered and promptly urged Ronald into the carriage, acting as if he was afraid Ronald wouldn’t take his carriage.
"Sir, you can confidently leave this task to ."
"At least in Springs, my driving skills are definitely the best!"
"Let’s go!"
With a shout, the rental carriage imdiately moved forward under the driver’s control.
Thus, sitting in the carriage, Ronald began his journey to the Clover Path Garden located in the Organ District.
Twenty minutes...
Would he make it on ti?
