"teorite?"

"Why would you buy that, are you a blacksmith?"

"These days, the notion of forging weapons from a teorite has long been outdated, you should give up early, young one."

"..."

"Excuse ."

After asking several shops that seed likely to sell teorites.

Ronald confird that his attempt to purchase a teorite was essentially an impractical stroke of luck.

Not to ntion the most common types of iron teorites.

In the nearby shopping area, there wasn’t even a store selling pictures of teorites.

If he wanted to activate the abilities of "Astronomy Master," he would just have to wait and look for opportunities at the university later.

Feeling sowhat gloomy, Ronald hailed a horse-drawn cab on the street.

The purchase of the teorite failed, but gifting still posed no issue.

Intending to visit Nicholas’s family before the sun went down, he moved on.

Ti slowly passed.

The carriage moved leisurely along the streets.

About forty minutes later, Ronald arrived at Patricia’s house.

The residence of the Nicholas family.

—The Edge Forest District.

The Nicholas family’s mansion wasn’t arched on the Queen’s Crown Road, nor was it in any city’s rich neighborhood.

Conversely, the Edge Forest District was the area that connected Spring Springs and the suburbs.

It was also a necessity to pass through here to enter the city.

However, another border of it was the Organ District, where the rich resided.

The location of the Nicholas family’s mansion here was, in a sense, a result of the duties their family bore.

Thus, stepping off the carriage, Ronald scrutinized the estate.

Or rather, the manor before him.

This estate owned by the Nicholas family gave the first impression of being sufficiently vast.

Since it was located at the city’s edge.

Without the need to consider the problem of space occupation, a spacious ground sufficient for training warriors was enclosed by the manor’s fence, and further afield was the house where their family resided.

Regarding the other detailed representations.

Although it lacked the highly luxurious aristocratic ambiance, Nicholas was after all from a family with deep history, well-known mystique, and regarded as the kingdom’s blade.

Therefore, Ronald recognized so valuable items in the decorations along the gate and the roads.

This was also the heritage that an established family should possess.

anwhile, as Ronald stood observing,

a guard at the manor’s entrance noticed his figure.

Thus, a robust young man approached Ronald and asked curiously,

"Sir, may I help you with sothing?"

Ronald nodded slightly towards him and then explained himself,

"Ronald Adler."

"As you see, I am here to visit a friend."

"Miss Patricia of the Nicholas family should have ntioned this, right?"

Hearing Ronald’s words, the young man’s serious eyes brightened imdiately.

After looking Ronald over a few tis, he nodded and continued,

"So you are the Miss’s friend!"

"If you don’t mind, could you wait here for a mont? I will notify them imdiately!"

Saying so, the young man ran back to the gate.

After instructing his companions quickly, he then jogged towards the manor’s building.

"..."

Watching the figure vanish.

Ronald wore a polite smile, then with the invitation of other guards, he arrived at a room by the entrance specifically designated for receiving guests.

The waiting ti wasn’t too long.

Just two or three minutes after the young guard’s figure had vanished, the familiar girl appeared on the other side of the manor’s structures.

However, today was different.

Patricia was dressed in a loose, white outfit with a training sword hanging at her waist. As she approached the gate, Ronald also noticed traces of freshly wiped sweat on her face.

Her platinum hair was tied back in a ponytail.

The sporty girl briskly waved at Ronald:

"Ronald, you’ve co!"

"..."

Smiling, Ronald walked up to her and said,

"Weren’t you just here yesterday when I happened not to be around?"

"I thought about it and realized I was free today, so I hurried over."

"I see," Ronald answered, smiling in affirmation. Glancing toward his residence, the girl promptly invited Ronald inside, "Let’s go in to talk."

"And it’s about ti for dinner, so you can join for that as well."

Ronald nodded slightly:

"Thank you then."

Between questions and chuckles, the two made their way toward the house.

Once their figures had departed, the guards at the door exchanged puzzled looks.

About a dozen breaths passed.

Then one of them ventured to ask,

"That was our miss, wasn’t it?"

"Of course!"

"But have you ever seen Miss Patricia receive a guest like she did today, especially a young man!?"

"If I had, would I be making the sa face as you?"

"But I’ve never seen this guy before."

"I can’t accept it!"

"..."

Disregarding the guards’ whisperings,

over on Ronald’s side, once Patricia had brought him inside the manor, she only then seed to realize sothing and wrinkled her nose.

She looked herself up and down.

A look of distress appeared on Patricia’s face before she said to Ronald:

"Ronald, I’m really sorry."

"I was just training at the combat field and ran to the gate all sweaty."

"How about you wait here while I take a bath?"

Ronald imdiately replied:

"Of course, no problem."

"That’s good then." With an apologetic smile, Patricia headed toward the right side of the manor while shouting upstairs, "Marita, take my friend to my room and treat him well!"

Thump, thump, thump—

Almost as soon as Patricia finished speaking, orderly footsteps echoed down from upstairs:

"Yes, Miss!"

Soon, Ronald saw the owner of the voice, a young girl dressed in a servant’s garb.

Upon seeing that Patricia had assigned her to take care of Ronald,

the servant’s gaze visibly faltered.

"..."

She first looked toward the departing figure of Patricia.

Then opened her mouth as though she wanted to remind or ask sothing.

Nevertheless, the girl ended up keeping silent.

Her gaze shifted from Patricia to Ronald, assessing him with a complicated look before she slightly sidestepped to clear the pathway upstairs, then invited him with an extrely cautious tone:

"Sir, the Miss’s room is on the second floor."
