Ronald made no further movents.
His gaze softly swept over the Magic Academy Tower as he continued to accelerate directly upwards into the sky.
With the gain in altitude, the buildings below gradually beca blurry.
The blue-gray body of the tower and the snow-covered mountains lded together, soon becoming indistinguishable.
It was then that a deep grey figure approached Ronald from below.
The man was the old Wizard who had said he wanted to see the spell for himself.
"Mr. Drake, it’s really quite an excellent spell."
"If you don’t mind, shall we proceed to test the following aspects: straight-line flight speed, aerial maneuverability, resistance to magical interference, response to high-altitude air currents, and acceleration and deceleration efficiency?" he asked.
Ronald nodded noncommittally:
"Shall we follow the order you suggested?"
The old Wizard extended his right hand forward, pointing:
"Then please, go ahead."

In his original world, Ronald had also privately tested the basic data of Icarus’s Wings.

Straight-line flight speed—
