"News of artificial divinity?"

"Yes, Catherine, as the head of a discipline in Barrier Mountain."

"If even soone of her status cannot gain knowledge of this incident, then the situation in the ’Infinite Negative Domain’ is truly unimaginable."

"But..."

Although Ronald understood this and was aware of Catherine’s intent to push the conversation forward, when he turned his head to look around, his first thought wasn’t about that.

At night, the star-gazing area at Barrier Mountain was scarcely visited.

The environnt, where one could see to the end at a glance, was engulfed in silent darkness.

Without anyone around to disturb, the person capable of answering many questions about this world was right in front of him, and their attitude seed very willing to explain...

Continue to inquire about artificial divinity?

Redirect the conversation back to Catherine’s research?

Without even thinking, the question Ronald most desperately wanted answered blurted out:

"Tower Master, let’s first talk about your research."

"What you just ntioned, are those results independently verified by you, or are they the collective conclusions drawn by Barrier Mountain’s overall research? Besides that, are there any other hypotheses or theories? What instrunts did you use to asure these data, and have you perford any falsification experints?"

Ronald threw out a series of questions, none of which concerned artificial divinity.

Catherine, looking at the man in front of her, even froze on the spot. Standing by the edge of the abandoned tower, it took only a few seconds for Catherine to suddenly bend over.

"Heh—hehe—"

"Hahahahaha!"

"You guy... you guy!"

"I really am growing to like you more and more!"

Ronald watched the changes in Catherine with a smile, remaining silent.

It took a few minutes before Catherine finally curbed her laughter; and when she straightened up, the wizard had a complex smile on her lips, with bitter tears lingering on her cheeks.

"Ronald Adler."

"If all of Barrier Mountain, or even just a third of it, comprised guys like you, then everything wouldn’t have turned out this way."

"Co, follow ."

"We’ll have a slow talk at the top."

Afterward, Catherine led Ronald upwards.

On the rooftop of the abandoned star-gazing tower, several chairs, brought by soone unknown, were placed, where Ronald and Catherine settled down.

The north wind blew past, and the night sky overhead was clear of clouds.

Catherine, looking at Ronald who was toying with his red hair while seated on a chair, began to introduce Barrier Mountain’s research:

"Ronald, the wizards in this world are all sealed here with hatred. Whether it’s integrating the original texts, studying spells, or disseminating knowledge, the ultimate goal for most is just one—vengeance."

"That’s why these guys don’t care about what I research."

"For them, what’s important are the essence of the spells, the essence of magic power, and the power held within the original texts—anything that empowers them swiftly."

Ronald couldn’t help but interject:

"So, all that you ntioned earlier, did you discover them independently?"

"I don’t have such skills." Catherine laughed, shaking her head, then continued explaining, "Originally, the astronors among the wizards weren’t much different from the others. However, after the original texts were successfully decoded, those who understood the astronomical stories in the texts began to show a very clear divide. So still clung to vengeance, while others..."

At this point, Catherine stretched her arm towards the sky.

Then clenched her fist fiercely at the night stars:

"The other portion began to crave looking up, yearning for the endless expanse of the stars."

Ronald imdiately recalled Sinovia’s introduction to astronomy:

"So what I heard about the cleansing..."

Catherine affird with a calm expression:

"Yes, those were the ones I cleansed who still harbored thoughts of revenge. In the field of astronomy, there is no need for a second voice."

Catherine spoke lightly, but Ronald knew that the matter was not as frivolous as she described.

Looking at the currently sparse number of wizards in the field of astronomy,

one could understand just how fierce the battle had been.

anwhile, Catherine across from Ronald continued her explanation:

"Right, Ronald, do you rember the astronomical instrunt at the top of the tower?"

"The question you just asked about how to asure, that’s actually the answer. After the original astronomical instrunt on top of this tower was destroyed, the new one was designed and built by alone, and this device is used to asure the ’hidden information’ in the vacuum..."

The conversation grew deeper, and Catherine was very enthusiastic.

Perhaps because in recent years, no one at the Barrier Mountain Academy, or in the field of astronomy, could converse with her like this, so Catherine almost spilled everything about this place to Ronald.

From the establishnt of Barrier Mountain to the current real situation.

She inford Ronald, who was in front of her, almost without omission.

...

The two sat at the top of the abandoned tower, and half the night had already passed.

Finally, Catherine began to slow her tone.

She had spoken extensively about the history of Barrier Mountain and her research.

It was ti to bring the conversation back to the main topic.

Ronald noticed Catherine’s disposition, and while thinking about what Catherine had just ntioned, he took the initiative to steer back the conversation:

"Now, should we talk about the Artificial God?"

"It’s ti to talk about that," Catherine let down her red hair and sat up straight, "If the people of Barrier Mountain are the avengers prepared to fight at the frontline, then this Fake God is the biggest mastermind behind the scenes now."

"According to my speculations, this entity currently manipulates a significant number of wizards in secret, and before the seal is broken, it plans to initiate a battle here prematurely."

Ronald raised an eyebrow: "Here?"

"Yes, here," Catherine nodded and continued, "Before counterattacking back into the outside world, this Artificial God does not want any dissenting voices among its followers. Making Barrier Mountain completely conform to its will was the first thing it planned to do."

At this point, Catherine couldn’t help but chuckle:

"Originally, this was an irreversible situation."

"But who knew, just a few days ago, the Fake God unexpectedly suffered a severe injury, as if struck by lightning, even forcing their plans to be delayed. That’s why, Ronald, you encountered such a Barrier Mountain when you arrived here."

Struck by lightning...

Ronald instantly realized that he was the culprit.

During the giant typhoon in Springs, what he sent back must have been the Artificial God from the "Realm of Infinite Negatives."

He just hadn’t expected this incident to have such an impact.

Ronald’s expression subtly changed.

Catherine imdiately reacted.

This female wizard’s observational skills were formidable, and she did not hesitate to ask:

"Ronald, do you perhaps know sothing?"
