The Il sisters’ conceptions.
Completely different from those of normal humans.
Even if, at one point, one sister contemplated devouring the other, their relationship itself didn’t seem to sever; there was a subtle undertone in their conversations.
Reflected in reality,
just as Il uttered such words, her sister actually ceased her attack!
The small tree people, that had previously spread out, regrouped, then transford back into the original thorn giant.
—No.
—There were still differences.
After completing the reconstitution of the enormous body, the body twisted by thorns began to contract inwards, the gaps between the thorns visibly narrowing.
The trend grew more intense.
Only a few seconds passed.
The gaps compressed fully, the body itself began to compact, countless thorny branches squeezing against each other until they even transford into blocks of highly dense, solid wood.
And on the opposite side,
seeing her sister’s massive body compress down to the size of an ordinary person, Il imdiately directed an inquiring gaze towards Ronald:
"May I take this battle, sir?"
Ronald had already figured out the strength of Il’s sister.
Believing he had total control of the situation, he naturally and casually withdrew the Magic Power emanating from his body:
"Of course, it’s all yours."
Truth be told, Ronald had his own thoughts.
Since taking Il under his wing in such a bizarre manner, he had yet to fully witness her capabilities.
Her sister was in the sa tier as her.
Now was a good opportunity to understand through this battle, to have a ntal expectation for other activities later on.
"..."
Having received permission from Ronald,
only then did Il turn to face her sister.
After undergoing compression at the physical level, the original tree person had transford into a four-legged creature with seven whip-like hands. Its entire body was covered in sharp spikes, and the unmasked Magic Fluctuation undoubtedly displayed its danger.
"..."
"Sister, is this the path you have chosen?"
Now, Il was in a completely different state than before.
Unlike her sister’s completely aberrant form and very apparent Magic Fluctuation, the current Il had no signs of transformation in her hands, and she exhibited no indication of Magic Fluctuation whatsoever.
From Ronald’s current perspective,
if Il stood on the streets of Springs in this state, without using a Spell to identify human identity, he would never reveal the fact that her true nature was not human.
At this mont, Il’s sister also spoke:
"Sister, the path you have chosen is wrong."
"Life must evolve into the state that best suits itself; imitating others will only lead you further astray, eventually leading to complete obliteration."
The air in the forest beca even tenser.
Il simply smiled at her sister, then said:
"Sister, right and wrong are but conclusions drawn from limited cognition. Life... our evolution is not simply about what we see as life, it encompasses countless possibilities and unknowns."
"..."
The tree-made monster spoke:
"I’ll say it one last ti."
"It’s not too late to rge back with , Il."
Il’s response was unwavering:
"Sister, I have my own thoughts."
Bang!
Almost the instant her words fell, the wooden creature stomped on the ground and charged towards Il.
Their last negotiations were over.
What remained was only battle.
```
"..."
On the other side, Il intently watched her sister charging towards her.
She didn’t transform her body to attack like she had done previously with the little treant; instead, she purely utilized her exceptional dynamic vision to capture her opponent’s movents, striking like lightning the instant they were about to clash.
Snap—
In the blink of an eye.
Il’s hands firmly grasped her sister’s body.
The strength between her arms and waist propelled her whole body as she went with the montum of her sister’s charge, hoisting the enemy from the ground with a twist of her hands and then violently throwing her toward the ground on her right side.
Bang!
Il’s sister was hurled far away.
The wooden creature’s body, already heavily compressed, was heavy and hard.
Once the forces of both were combined, the result was a trench brutally smashed into the ground, extending until the force piled up a significant mound of earth, and the wooden monster once again stood up.
"..."
The two remained silent.
Capitalizing on the advantage of standing on four limbs to swiftly regain balance, Il’s sister imdiately initiated another charge!
But this ti was different.
As she rushed forward, a layer of sparkling shell lit up around the wooden creature, containing very noticeable Magic Fluctuations.
—The failure from before.
—Had caused it to incorporate Spell in its attack this ti.
Il was still silent.
Having spent months in the Yizi Forest, she had indeed seen many unique powers of Casters.
The judgnt was quickly made in her mind.
It would be best not to touch her sister with her own hands now.
Supported by her formidable physical capabilities, Il’s grasp of timing remained exceptional.
Before the wooden creature could reach her,
She flicked her fingers in front of her.
Rumble—
Powder scattered through the air, quickly adhering to the freshly grown black plants surrounding them.
After that, a magical scene unfolded.
These plants, born from flas and explosions, already had the property of absorbing energy to grow rapidly. Upon contact with the powder Il had thrown, they imdiately began growing at an even more exaggerated speed.
Just within a few seconds.
After Il’s sister charged from a distance up close.
A dense patch of black vegetation spread almost three ters high, and Il herself was lifted into the air along with the plants.
Snap—
The next second, Il’s sister barged in.
The force from the wooden creature’s charging speed was very powerful; attempting to stop midway would’ve been masochistic.
And so, crashing through,
The newly grown black plants were imdiately torn open. Imdiately after, Il’s sister, her montum undiminished, plowed through everything in her path and only stopped on the other side.
At this mont.
The Magic Fluctuation on the wooden creature weakened.
But both the participants in the fight and the onlookers could see very clearly—that where it had passed, the plants bore quite noticeable signs of corrosion.
It was evident, this corrosion must be the true effect of the magic shell.
And considering that both Il sisters originated from plant life...
This ability.
Clearly, it was a very lethal presence in combat.
Snap—
At that mont, Il leaped down from the top of the black plants.
She glanced at the wooden creature, which had turned around and was preparing to charge again.
Her eyes held not a trace of fear for the battle.
