"Our side has seven people preparing to enter the relic, and the camp's decision is...?"

After sunrise, the team about to depart was making their final preparations.

And as the leader of the support team, Dwayne was discussing with Carn, the person in charge here, at the entrance of the camp.

Snap, snap—

After one night, Carn too had his full preparations made.

With a clap of his hands, three n walked out from the camp.

"Mr. Carn, we are all ready."

The oldest among the three took the initiative to reply, his attitude and expression both steady and reliable. However, the youngest of the camp's companions showed a trembling expression:

"Sir... shall we wait a bit longer?"

"Maybe Mr. Daniel and the others could still co out, isn't it a bit hasty for us to go down now?"

"They are professionals, what are you afraid of?" Carn glared as he heard this, "Get going! This ti Mr. gan is leading you, it will definitely be foolproof."

The middle-aged man among the three also imdiately responded:

"Mr. Carn, I will do everything within my power..."

"Only three people?" Judging from the conversation among the people in the camp, Dwayne's expression was a bit subtle. He had not expected that the assistance provided here... would be only three people!

Camp leader Carn also noticed Dwayne's dissatisfaction.

He imdiately explained with a smile on his face:

"Professor Dwayne, it's not that we don't want to help, but the majority of capable people were already inside the relic before."

"At the mont, our side needs to maintain security nearby, communicate with the city, and also ensure that no random individuals intrude into the relic. Under these circumstances— truly, we have no more people to spare!"

"..."

"Sir, that person is a Caster."

"Costate, what you are referring to... ah, yes, him. His concealnt of Magic Power is very well done; he's quite adept among ordinary Casters."

At another part of the camp, Ronald and his servant, having packed their bags, were watching this scene from afar.

The three people sent from the camp were not entirely without rit.

Setting aside the other two, the middle-aged man had significant Magic Fluctuation; for a civilian force employee, this was a very important presence.

The pre-departure discussion ultimately did not change anything.

Two hours after breakfast, the support team of ten people, including helpers from the camp, began their mission of relic exploration.

The crevices in the ice waterfall originally allowed only one person to squeeze through barely.

But subsequent workers had dug out the passageway, making it into a tunnel that could now accommodate two people walking side by side. With the entrance situation already ascertained, two guards held torches at the forefront, leading the way.

Not to ntion a powerful Caster like Ronald.

The space beyond the ice waterfall was quite unfriendly for ordinary people.

Ground littered with sharp stone flakes that could easily cut the skin if one was not careful; the ager warmth of the winter sun barely reached through the ice walls and the tunnel's length, leaving only the torches at the rear of the team to provide light.

It was just a few minutes' walk.

A sensation of isolation from the world began to stealthily grow.

Fortunately, there weren't many animals moving around this season— otherwise, any small disturbance might have caused a commotion in the team.

After a few more minutes passed, the young man walking in front couldn't help but speak:

"Mr. gan, are we really..."

The middle-aged Caster interjected:

"Haley, control your fear. Such emotions will only make you more dangerous when faced with danger. Think about it; we now have the help of the world's most professional professor and a world-traveling explorer. Things are already quite favorable."

The young man nodded in reassurance:

"Okay... alright, I understand."

The team continued to move forward in the darkness.

As they moved further from the entrance, the ground under their feet beca softer, and the air temperature was no longer painfully cold.

"Professor Dwayne, please co see this."

At that mont, the middle-aged Caster from the camp spoke up, the composed man standing with a torch before an irregular earthen wall.

"So of us saw this before, but we don't yet know its aning."

Others in the team imdiately caught up.

Upon closer inspection, they discovered that the wall pointed out by the middle-aged Caster was a severely damaged man-made barrier!

And although its structure was greatly damaged,

so of the writings on its surface had coincidentally been preserved.

The first to react in the group was Seriel: "The structure and arrangent of these writings are sowhat similar to the alphabetic script of the people of Nijia'er, though I'm not certain which branch..."

Well-stocked with knowledge, Dwayne then took the opportunity to speak:

"This is the sacred alphabet used by the descendants of the Nin people of Nijia'er during worship. Let try to translate it..."

As he spoke, Dwayne imdiately pulled out paper and pen from his pocket.

The professor beca highly concentrated in his work, copying down the contents of the wall while murmuring his recollections. Other mbers of the team spontaneously gathered around him, protecting the scholar at work.

However, the maid standing beside Ronald was a bit different.

Costate, who noticed the scene unfolding before them, quickly passed a questioning glance towards Ronald:

"Sir?"

Ronald smiled and replied softly:

"Let's try not to interfere with their work."

"..."

Costate nodded in understanding, and Ronald then whispered to the maid:

"The content on the wall is missing a few words, and it looks delicate. In essence, it should read— during the reign of the great King of Nijia'er..., a new city and altar will be established on this land, we... consider this the beginning."

Ronald had directly recognized the writing.

The convenience of his linguistic knowledge was evident.

The content recorded was not terribly important, and Ronald was not about to use this advantage to usurp Dwayne's position in the team. Therefore, he left this task to the professor.

There wasn't much content on the wall.

About five minutes later, Dwayne successfully deciphered it and then turned to the others, saying:

"This was originally a monunt."

"It records that this is an altar and city commissioned by the King of Nijia'er."

Dwayne's correct translation confird his expertise.

And after the professor spoke, Seriel's expression turned solemn, and with a serious tone, he instructed everyone:

"If that is the case, we must be cautious as we continue forth."

"There are definitely dangers ahead!"
