Ronald was about to leave, but then he saw the elder catch up with him.

He didn't show much emotion, just maintained his steady steps while explaining to the other as he walked out:

"It's the Nine Commandnts secret eting you ntioned earlier."

"I'm not clear on the specifics — but in any case, two hundred years ago, the Polar School disappeared completely in this world due to the activities of the Nine Commandnts secret eting, and even the original classics of the school have beco missing."

"..."

"This is impossible!"

The elder's tone was extrely uneasy.

She tried her best to deny the news Ronald had told her, even raising her voice several levels because of it.

Yet, facing the elder's agitated emotions.

Ronald responded with a rather helpless look:

"If you feel uncomfortable, then I am very sorry."

"But in this matter, I am rely stating a reality that has already happened. And you must understand — these are events that happened two hundred years ago."

"..."

Sotis, it takes only a mont to understand a problem.

In the instant of seeing Ronald's look, the elder realized many things in her heart.

She knew clearly the effect of sealing her spell.

Though she couldn't confirm how long she had been sealed in the school's holy land, detaching from that state, even if the world outside undergoes drastic changes, is not difficult to understand.

As an aged Caster.

The elder has witnessed the demise of other schools over the long years, also seen those holders of once incredibly powerful original classics finally bid farewell to the world as ti passed.

She has understood this long ago.

A power, or rather, a person.

When facing the fate of the end, most likely cannot avoid such a result.

"..."

Free from the confusion of being awakened, the elder's entire aura seed to have changed.

Though she still followed Ronald out of this holy land.

But before leaving, she suddenly turned her body sharply, casting a sharp look at the girl pinned to the platform by herself. She then casually 'pulled' a Frost Blade from the surrounding cold air out of nowhere and threw it at the unmoving corpse.

Crack—

This strike was incredibly precise.

Already lifeless on the ground, the corpse now t a fate of being completely beheaded.

Having confird the enemy's body was thoroughly destroyed.

The elder quickened her pace, continuing to follow Ronald outside.

But this ti, her tone when speaking to Ronald was vastly different from before, primarily expressing gratitude for Ronald awakening her.

"Young man, I am very grateful to you for awakening ."

"Just, please forgive an old woman's curiosity — in the world today, what kind of powerful school could nurture an excellent Caster like you?"

"I belong to no sect." Ronald directly denied the point, and then considering the other's identity, age, and potential era, he added specifically, "However, my full na is Ronald Adler, you might be familiar with this surna?"

"Adler!"

The elder's expression changed imdiately.

Before, her attitude towards Ronald was mixed with doubt and probing. But after hearing this surna, not only did these emotions completely vanish from her eyes, but a rare trace of respect even appeared.

"May I ask, do you currently reside in Joyce Forest..."

"That's right, the sa Adler."

Ronald clearly saw the elder's expression, and with the aid of spell perception, he could sense that this sentint was admiration not stemming from legendary stories, but rather for people she had seen with her own eyes.

In other words—

This elder very likely is a Caster who has crossed through the Dark Age!

Moreover, as a high-ranking mber of the Polar School, she even personally participated in the war that ended the Dark Age, and has seen Hops Adler herself!

This truly was an unexpected gain.

During interactions with Costate, and the brief insight at Barrier Mountain, Ronald has indeed learned quite a bit about that era, but at this mont facing a character who has traversed ti from that period.

He couldn't help but feel a bit emotional.

anwhile, the elder's trembling tone revealed everything.

She looked at Ronald, almost cautiously asking:

"Then Mr. Ronald, may I inquire, how is Miss Costate now?"

Ronald imdiately replied:

"Costate is at the Northern Continent, I am now preparing to et with her."

"..."

No one dares to impersonate the identity of the Adler lineage!

In the elder's eyes, this is sothing akin to universal truth, a rule existent in the world. Especially when the other party clearly affird that Costate was crafted using the highest Mystical technology!

Thus in just a few exchanges.

The elder's trust in Ronald's identity beca very high.

And up to this point, the initial misunderstanding and conflict between them almost completely dissolved.

They began exchanging information in an increasingly harmonious atmosphere.

Ronald was keen to gain a deeper understanding of this Northern Continent, and the elder nad Koya from the Polar School, required knowledge of this current era as well.

The atmosphere between them gradually improved.

And as they walked out through the tunnel Ronald had previously excavated, noticing the marks left by the explorer nearby, Ronald remarked with interest:

"These are the marks left by that explorer."

"Had he not been an ordinary person, perhaps the one who woke you wouldn't have been ."

Upon hearing Ronald's comntary.

Koya cast a respectful look at the marks before her:

"An ordinary person capable of traversing from the Latoya Continent to this location, honestly speaking, is an unimaginably great feat."

Ronald nodded in agreent:

"In fact, many aspects of my journey to this place have benefitted from the information left by that explorer."

"But regarding the docuntation in his books, I still have so confusion currently. According to him, next to the original oasis leading to the North Pole, there used to be a Peak of Ling Guang. Now when I went over, that mountain is nowhere to be seen."

"Peak of Ling Guang?" Hearing this term, Koya suddenly got invigorated.

With the gratitude for Ronald freeing her from the ice, the elder imdiately explained:

"If you're talking about a suddenly disappeared mountain, I might know the reason."

"Because beside the miasma oasis, there indeed existed a Ling Guang Mountain."

"It only appears in the months of March, April, July, August, November, and December each year. If not approached within the specific tis, that area is rely a flat ice field."
