Pang De’s unit had been training with him for a long ti. At his command, they imdiately charged out, as Pang De was considered Ma Teng’s trusted aide. After eting with Ma Teng’s personal army, he still commanded the troops as if they were his own.
"Where are the Eight Banner Riders!" Hann Sui, seeing Ma Teng giving orders, hesitated no more, as he had now completely joined forces with Ma Teng.
Liang Xing, Cheng Yin, and others quickly stood up in unison. Hann Sui imdiately commanded, "Lead your respective units and launch a full-scale attack separately. Distract the Xianbei Army and create opportunities for Yana Ming and Ling Ming!"
"Understood!" Liang Xing and the others responded with a salute, then turned around and rushed out.
Similarly, Yano Xing also saluted Ma Teng and Hann Sui before quickly rushing out. He rged his own unit with Hann Sui’s personal soldiers and, like Pang De, charged towards the Xianbei Army.
"All Qiang People units, follow and Wen Yue as we mobilize the entire army. Attack the Xianbei with full force! Anyone not giving full effort will face consequences like this table!" As he spoke, Ma Teng drew his sword and split a table in two.
The Qiang leaders exchanged glances and then all agreed, for they too had heard Zhong Yao’s words and needed to prove their allegiance!
"All soldiers, follow !" Ma Teng and Hann Sui took large strides out of the military camp, with the Qiang and Hu leaders quickly raising their forces to follow. Soon, the gates of the entire camp opened, and countless soldiers and horses roared out!
"Yana Ming, I realize I haven’t fought alongside you before!" Pang De pulled his reins and said with a cold smile. He didn’t have a particular liking for Yano Xing, but acknowledged him as a professional soldier who wouldn’t compromise due to personal feelings.
"Hmph, just kill the enemy!" Yano Xing pulled his reins and charged out, while Pang De laughed wildly to the sky, a surge of energy directly emanating from his chest.
At the sa ti, what was originally black Inner Qi beca unimaginably dark, with a chill gleam amidst the blackness. As the Inner Qi changed, twilight extended from Pang De’s body, halting only after enveloping the three thousand soldiers of his unit.
"My heart is like iron, fight to the death!" Pang De roared as the army cloaked in twilight suddenly accelerated and charged at the Xianbei.
Blood spurted from long spears, arrows whirled wildly, but Pang De’s personal army showed no fear, following closely behind Pang De and crashing directly into the Xianbei Army.
There was no maneuvering or probing; Pang De’s intense, desperate resolve directly imbued every personal soldier with the belief to fight to the death, imdiately engaging in the most brutal sort of exchange.
No matter the era, a truly desperate battlefield where every blade draws blood tests the soldiers’ willpower imnsely. Even strong troops trained more scientifically in later generations would end white blade battles quickly!
In the era of cold weapons, white blade battles were deadly, but the mortality rate was not high. Truly fighting until the last soldier required more than a tenfold encirclent to claim victory.
Once Pang De’s trusted aides were imbued with his resolve and began to fight to the death, the Xianbei Army they encountered crumpled within the ti it takes to drink a cup of tea.
It wasn’t just about willpower, but also strength and reaction. At that mont, the quality demonstrated by Pang De’s personal army was on par with most elite troops, especially the desperation-driven montum which imdiately overwheld the Xianbei with each swing of their blades.
At that mont, countless screams emanated from the Xianbei’s rear army. Each of Pang De’s personal soldiers was like a death soldier brimming with morale, reversing the retreating Xianbei soldiers and thrusting into the Xianbei formations!
"Hiss~" Yano Xing gasped; the combat power displayed by Pang De’s personal army was not terrifying in itself, as defeating three opponents at once was normal, but their fighting resolve was indeed fearso.
Yano Xing clearly saw a personal soldier getting stabbed through the abdon and chest by a Xianbei lance but still gripping his great sword and cleaving the Xianbei, disemboweling them. The soldier then roared to slay a now terrified Xianbei, finally hurling his sword to decapitate a Xianbei centurion before collapsing.
Such fighting spirit, combined with nearly overflowing morale, even if combat power hadn’t improved, it was worthy of the na of a strong army.
"Kill for !" As one of the strongest under Hann Sui and Ma Teng, initially surpassed by Ma Chao and then by Pang De, Yano Xing could not remain indifferent.
He twirled his long spear in flying wheels, raising a flourish of spear flowers. Turning his horse around, he split a swath of open space, and the personal soldiers behind him also rose to kill the enemy, rushing towards the rear Mohuto.
When Pang De and Yano Xing struck, Mohuto, already aware of the rear situation, sensed danger. While mobilizing his army to respond, he began to gather defenses. However, before he could give orders, more than ten areas of the Xianbei rear army were simultaneously attacked by the Eight Banner Riders and the Qiang and Hu!
"We must stop that strongman!" Mohuto shouted as he gazed at Pang De opposite him, "Rear main forces, follow !"
Earlier, Zhang Xiu had led all his personal army and launched an attack towards Kebinen’s main force direction using the fad Xiliang Iron Cavalry’s charge!
This ti, Zhang Xiu endured physical discomfort and mobilized another force not belonging to himself. Ice-blue water attribute Inner Qi and fiery-red fire attribute Inner Qi entwined into a single Qi. The magnificent purple, deeply mysterious and exceptionally powerful, instantly dyed the cavalry’s Cloud Qi purple.
"Hundred Phoenixes Soaring in the Sun!" Zhang Xiu unleashed the purple Great Sun. Countless phoenixes directly covered everything before him, tearing apart all in front of them almost instantly, with even the Xianbei camp unable to muster an effective defense and was directly crushed!
"So powerful!" Xiahou Dun and Xiahou Yuan both exclaid in shock upon seeing Zhang Xiu’s move, noting that such a formidable attack could have finished them.
At this mont, Zhang Xiu had no ti to care about what others thought of him. With both water attribute and fire attribute Inner Qi present, his master’s intention was for these attributes to harmonize slowly, absorbing both characteristics and forming a new Inner Qi.
This could be considered the greatest gift from Tong Yuan to Zhang Xiu, as this slow rging thod ant Zhang Xiu could progress indefinitely before fusion, ultimately achieving either Ice Fla or Flowing Fire, stepping beyond the final phase of Inner Qi Separation.
Unfortunately, Zhang Xiu abandoned this thod, finding it too slow. His original water attribute Inner Qi was only at the Perfect stage of Inner Qi Manifestation, and similarly, the fire attribute was at this level as well.
To harmonize these attribute Inner Qi, Zhang Xiu’s Inner Qi level had to be maintained at Perfect Inner Qi Manifestation for a long ti, which was almost unbearable for Zhang Xiu at present.
Therefore, Zhang Xiu ultimately abandoned it. He took another path, continuing to cultivate both water attribute and fire attribute Inner Qi upwards, without needing to create a new attribute. In battle, he simply forced both Inner Qi into one!
