"Zilong, your appearance earlier was quite sudden," Chen Xi sighed, "otherwise, it wouldn’t have triggered Old Hann’s reaction. It was quite apparent that your appearance was too stealthy. Hann Qiong reacted without even thinking and was about to take action, which exposed his Qi. Otherwise, I believe you might not have noticed him."

To be honest, Chen Xi had always been puzzled why Hann Qiong would choose to beco invisible. Do all these so-called experts like to appear and disappear inexplicably? But on second thought...

"Zilong, can you turn invisible?" Chen Xi asked curiously.

"Invisible?" Zhao Yun looked at Chen Xi in confusion, "Do you an like this?"

No sooner had he spoken than Zhao Yun’s body began to vanish from the feet upwards until he completely disappeared. Then, like flakes of drifting snow gathering together, he reappeared.

"It’s a very simple secret technique. My master taught it to ; I got it down after just one look," Zhao Yun said casually, "I know many techniques of this level. It’s just a matter of distorting light and at most, erasing my sense of presence. However, at my level, even if I fully utilize this technique, I can feel it if soone lays eyes on ."

Hann Qiong, who was not far from Chen Xi, felt an urge to spit blood. He finally understood why his senior brother would always talk about Zhao Yun with a sense of pride and frustration. Such a high-level technique, and yet Zhao Yun called it simple! He himself had spent a long ti learning it back then!

"Oh, so that’s how it is. So you an, as long as soone glances at you, you can feel where they are," Chen Xi said in amazent.

"Pretty much," Zhao Yun nodded and continued, "For instance," he glanced around, pointed in a direction, and said, "My uncle is over there."

Hann Qiong revealed his form with a wry smile, completely at a loss as to how Zhao Yun had detected him. He hadn’t left the slightest trace, yet Zhao Yun had discovered him so casually, which was entirely illogical.

"Zilong, you should take Marquis Chen back. Your uncle still has things to do," Hann Qiong said with a wry smile as he flew away. He could feel the subtle pressure from Zhao Yun, indicating that his nephew had surpassed him.

Zhao Yun saluted in the direction Hann Qiong had left, scanned the surroundings once more to ensure that no one else was there, closed his eyes, and then opened them again. Zuo Ci of Jingling Palace chuckled bitterly, his Spiritual Perception having vanished inexplicably while following behind Chen Xi.

Chen Xi did not have such a clear sense of what was happening. To him, the biggest difference was the mont Zhao Yun opened his eyes; what were once miscellaneous noises in Fenggao beca utterly silent in an instant.

"It’s much safer this way," Zhao Yun said with a smile, "Strategist, there’s sothing I’d like to ask."

"Let’s hear it," Chen Xi nodded, "What’s on your mind?"

"You once said you’d personally calculated the destinies of the civil and military officials yourself," Zhao Yun said, sowhat sheepishly.

Chen Xi felt slightly awkward. His words at Hulao Pass had been sowhat haphazard, though undeniably true. However, describing them in more detail now seed impossible since the situation in the world had already changed significantly.

"Indeed, but what I said back then should have been correct without any mistakes. At most, so people might have escaped death by a fluke of fate and found new life. After all, destiny is unpredictable, and I dare not be certain," Chen Xi said as he strolled, weighing his words carefully. He was unclear why Zhao Yun was asking this at the mont.

"I am aware of this, Zijian must have overco his destined calamity, and if I’m not wrong, anyone who does so will experience a significant increase in ability," Zhao Yun nodded and said sowhat off-handedly.

Upon reflection, Chen Xi replied, "That is indeed the case. Those who overco such calamities are usually incredibly resolute or have unwavering beliefs. Freed from the heaviest burden over their hearts, it’s only natural that their abilities would improve."

Thinking of this reminded Chen Xi of Li Youu. Li Youu was a monster—his Spiritual Capacity was not only imnse, but its purity also made Chen Xi feel a sense of dread. If anyone in this world could achieve a Prefecture Level Changing Heavens without external assistance, it would undoubtedly be Li Youu alone. His spiritual power had continued to grow since its second enhancent, though the rate of increase had slowed down considerably.

"Strategist, I think I must have overco my destined calamity in the future. I have received relevant information about Yanzhou. Lyu Bu’s strength is beyond what I can contend with, and you have seen him in action. However, you once said that I could rival Lyu Bu at my peak, so the only explanation must be that I overca my destined calamity," Zhao Yun said in a low voice, "So, Strategist, can you tell what my destined calamity is?"

Chen Xi was speechless. Changban Slope? Well, from any perspective, that battle was certain death, but indeed he didn’t die, and afterward, Zhao Yun’s Combat Power surged as if leaping over a barrier, enjoying the sa treatnt as Lyu Bu—whenever he appeared, he was surrounded by enemies, all of whom he managed to kill.

The problem was that Zhao Yun was asking Chen Xi what his destined calamity was, and how could Chen Xi respond to that? If there was soone in this lifeti who could force Liu Bei to flee with the people across the river, soone who could drive one of Liu Bei’s generals to fight alone, then Chen Xi, Jia Xu, Guo Jia, all of them might as well take their own lives.

"Zilong, what are you worried about?" Chen Xi asked with a furrowed brow.

"Because I’m going to Yanzhou, I can’t defeat Lyu Bu. I can clearly feel the gap between him and right now. Although I might be able to retreat with my whole body, being unable to defeat him ans just that. I have a feeling that even if the three of us joined forces like at Hulao Pass, he might still be able to leave unscathed," Zhao Yun said with a wry smile. Lyu Bu had beco unnaturally strong.

It was precisely because he sensed Lyu Bu’s strength that Zhao Yun asked Chen Xi, inquiring about his own destined calamity. The more he understood Lyu Bu, the more he felt the other’s strength and hence pondered how to catch up to Lyu Bu as soon as possible.

Chen Xi pinched the bridge of his nose and stopped walking, looking at Zhao Yun in front of him. He had a strange feeling that what Zhao Yun lacked might not be strength. In fact, Zhao Yun’s raw strength wasn’t inferior to Lyu Bu; it seed like Zhao Yun was missing sothing else.

"What is it, Strategist?" Seeing Chen Xi co to a halt, Zhao Yun stopped as well.

"Zilong, I don’t think what you need is to overco destined calamity," Chen Xi suddenly looked up, "You probably don’t have a destined calamity. What you lack is a mindset, an invincible mindset. Compared to Lyu Bu, where exactly do you think you fall short?"

Zhao Yun looked at Chen Xi, puzzled, and carefully thought over their respective strengths. Inner Qi, definitely not; both in quality and quantity, Zhao Yun would not lose. Recovery? Also not; he recovered quickly too. Strength, skills, speed, his treasured steed, weapons? It didn’t seem like he was overtly weaker than Lyu Bu in any aspect. So why couldn’t he, even as two of himself, defeat and not just injure Lyu Bu now? (To be continued. If you like this work, please visit Qidian ) to cast your recomndation votes and monthly tickets.
