BANG

The rim shook violently as Blake Griffin hamred down a thunderous one-arm dunk. The whole Davidson arena went silent for a beat—then erupted.

Blake had seen enough.

After watching his brother Taylor get cooked again and again, he wanted in. During the tiout, he'd told Coach Capel, "I'm guarding Lin."

But even then, he still gave Taylor one more shot.

Too bad Lin Yi didn't care about seniority. He broke Taylor down like a bad habit—then hit him with a pull-up three like he was a guard.

"Need to go beast mode," Blake muttered under his breath, steam figuratively coming out of his ears.

Next possession, no more waiting. Blake went full beast mode, soared above the rim like a damn rocket, and posterized Beasley. The whole head above the basket. No rcy.

Scouts sitting courtside nearly dropped their clipboards. His vertical? Ridiculous. His power? Unreal. His stare? Locked directly on Lin Yi.

Now that was a challenge.

Reggie Miller was already losing it in the booth.

"Oh-ho! Looks like Blake ain't playin' around anymore!" he laughed. "He's calling out Lin Yi—straight up!"

And yeah, Lin noticed.

......

In the stands, Wu Xiaolei's jaw dropped. "Qi Jun! Get this on cara! This is gold! The projected No. 1 pick in the NBA draft—going head-to-head with Lin Yi! This could be a mont!"

Qi Jun didn't even ask questions. His lens zood in on Lin, ready for sothing special.

.......

Stephen Curry glanced at Lin. Coach McKillop's plan had been for Lin to initiate, then let Steph take over. But when he saw Blake's eyes on Lin, the challenge was written all over his face.

He knew what ti it was.

Steph passed Lin the rock, then jogged over to the corner, motioning for everyone to clear out.

"Thanks, Steph," Lin said with a small grin.

"You got this," Steph replied, tapping his chest.

The crowd buzzed. The tension was real. Phones up. Caras on. This was it—one-on-one, Lin vs. Blake.

Lin took a dribble, lowered his stance, and gave a slight jab left.

Blake didn't bite.

He faked again, Blake stayed planted.

Lin dropped low, real low—testing.

Blake stayed right there, hands wide, legs coiled like a spring.

Flashback

"Yo, Steph," Lin whispered without breaking eye contact, "what would you do if a guy just won't move?"

Steph laughed quietly. "I'd hit him with a filthy behind-the-back and pull up from three... but really, I'm just hoping he flinches."

Lin smirked.

Flashback ends

Back on the court, Lin did exactly that—behind-the-back dribble, body straightens up like he's about to shoot...

Blake lunges forward.

Too late.

Lin drops again, and drives hard to Blake's right—he's in!

Steph's eyes lit up. That's the move I taught him.

Blake recovered fast—freakishly fast. He stayed on Lin's hip, closing space with every step.

But Lin wasn't done.

Rember what Jennings said… take off earlier... hang longer.

Lin launched.

From almost three ters out, he rose.

A 7-footer in full flight—arms extended, gliding.

Blake jumped too, eting him in midair—hand on the ball.

Clash.

Blake's palm t Lin's, gripping the ball.

But Lin's hand? Bigger.

He pald it back, ripped it away from Blake, still in the air, and as his montum carried him past, he slamd it down with one final extension.

BOOM

The crowd lost its damn mind.

Reggie Miller exploded: "OH MY GOSH! Did y'all see that?! A change-hand dunk in mid-air! By a 7-footer?! That's MJ-level sorcery right there!"

Caras flashed. Scouts stood up. They weren't taking notes anymore—they were just staring.

But the mont wasn't over.

Blake sprinted to the floor. He wasn't done.

Sooners team's point guard rifled a football-style pass across the court, and Blake caught it on the run like a wide receiver.

Two steps inside the free-throw line...

BOOM

He obliterated Anthony Beasley in midair.

Another monster dunk—back-to-back posters.

He turned, stared down Lin Yi—and slashed a hand across his throat.

Lin Yi raised an eyebrow, grinning.

Okay, I see how it is.

He looked Blake dead in the eye and fired back his own gesture—mocking Blake's throat-cut with one of his own.

The arena roared. Tensions sky-high. Everyone turned toward the comntary desk.

And Reggie Miller?

He leaned in, smiling wide.

"Ohhh man... buckle up, folks. NCAA just turned into the main stage. This is not a drill."
