They crowded the front entrance and the living room, all of them under a black mask with knives and other dangerous items like hatchets and machetes.
’A few of them also have guns...’ he started to realize just how serious the situation was.
The n remained hurdled up at the door,
cautious to make a move after seeing Yohan standing above their fallen comrades.
One man pushed through the crowd. He wore dark shades, a thick white beard framing his face, and a large cigar clenched between his teeth. Draped over his shoulders was a heavy black fur coat, giving him an air of quiet authority as the crowd parted around him.
"Did you do this?" He asked, sounding more amused than concerned.
"Are you their leader?" Yohan ignored his question, bold as ever.
"Yes, I am. Graham Grey, leader of the Hundred-man Monster squad. And you are?"
"Yohan Choi," he replied after a brief hesitation. He wanted to keep them man talking while he tried to figure out who and who had the gun.
Guns were very rare in the city and up until now he had only seen one in the hands of the police.
They were hurdled together so he could only pin point the sll of the gun powder through intense focus.
"Yohan Choi..." The man repeated the na, "The information I received didn’t ntion anything about you, I should have known Hatoru would have soone skilled like you protecting his daughter. You managed to take all of them out even after I sent them in with a gun."
"I don’t work for that man," Yohan said.
"Hm... then what are you doing here?"
"Protecting a lady in danger," Yohan said with a wink, glancing back at Izumi, who remained inside the room.
Graham let out a short laugh. "Oh, a boyfriend. What a knight in shining armor."
"Enough about ," Yohan cut in, his tone flattening. "What do you people want?"
"You already said it," Graham replied. "We’re here for the girl you’re protecting. And I’m sure the neighbors have already called the cops, so I’ll ask you once—hand her over." His brows pressed down.
"Or what?" Yohan asked calmly.
Three n stepped forward at once.

Pistols were raised, all aid directly at him.
"I’d rather not fire another shot," Graham said, pulling out a cigar and taking a slow puff. "Too much noise. But don’t mistake that for hesitation. Keep wasting our ti, and I won’t care anymore."
Silence settled over the room.
A few seconds passed.
Then—
"Alright," Yohan said.
"You can have her... on one condition."
Graham chuckled, smoke slipping from his lips. "You’ve got a gun pointed at you, and you’re still negotiating?"
"Relax. It’s nothing major," Yohan replied casually.
Graham’s eyes narrowed, curiosity creeping in. "Fine. What do you want?"
Yohan t his gaze without hesitation. "Take with you."
"You want to co with us?" He laughed at the request, "why would you want that? Don’t tell it’s because you love the girl,"
"Maybe," he shrugged, "but I promise not to cause any trouble,"
The man studied him for a few extra seconds before agreeing,
"Honestly, if you want to waste your life then be my guest," he said with a grin, "It’s not like we were about to just let you walk out of here,"
He said to his n as he turned to leave, "Get everyone out of here, the boy rides with ..."
He glanced at Yohan, "Co on, let’s go,"
Yohan stood in place as the n moved past him, two went straight and grabbed Izumi from the room while she fought and struggled to break free all to no avail.
They gagged her mouth and carried her away, even with all the commotion none of the other residents dared to step out of their rooms. The few that tried, were t with man blocking their door.
"Nothing to see here people..." Graham announced as he walked past.
Just as he had instructed, his n moved chanically. Yohan watched as they carried the injured out, while another set escorted him to the car. They were so organized that everything was done in under one minute.
They made their way outside, where there were black vans parked all around the place. They hopped into one of them and sped off, when they turned a corner there was a police car parked by the side of the road.
They paused closely beside the car, then the windows ca down, before Graham tossed a thick paper bag inside the cops open window and sped off.
Only after they left did the cop start driving towards their previous location.
"Wow, I did not know cops were this easy to buy," he said casually.
Graham stared at him with a questioning look, before answering.
"Of course, everything has a price–you have to know who to ask,"
There were two n sitting beside him, both of them had guns pointed at him, while Graham sat on a chair positioned opposite him in the van.
He was surprised that Yohan showed no ounce of fear, and was instead smiling and speaking comfortably.
"Who exactly are you?" He asked again.
"I already told you..."
"Yes but who do you work for?"
"Myself," he replied sharply,
"So you are really just doing all this to protect the girl?" Graham Grey found it hard to believe.
"Pretty much, how about you? What do you plan on doing with the girl,"
The way he spoke was unconcerned and very casual, almost like he wasn’t in any danger. That level of confidence was baffling to Graham.
"Well if you must know, she’s very vital in bringing down my enemy,"
Yohan nodded with understanding, he already figured that was the case, after all Hatoru did have a lot of enemies.
"But you’re not going to hurt her right?"
"That’s not part of our agenda, but I can’t make any promises if her grandfather doesn’t cooperate," Graham replied.
"Okay then..." Yohan said, "why don’t you let help you?"
"You see, I also have a bone to pick with the old man and I’d appreciate if I could be involved in bringing him down,"
