They say separation makes the heart grow fonder, and in Brenda's case, after not seeing Oliver for a few months, she ended up developing feelings of yearning for him.
Sothing deep inside told her that she should have been more aware of it, but her rational mind didn't allow her to dwell deeper into those thoughts because she believed those were silly and unrealistic.

Oliver froze on the spot upon hearing those words, causing him to glance sideways towards Ron, who didn't seem surprised by any of this happening.
He probably expected sothing like this already, considering the nature of their relationship.
"You want one too, Sarah?" Oliver asked with a light laugh before giving a small nod at her request. "But not in public, of course. I don't want Ron to be mocked by everyone."
Sarah looked around and saw many people staring at them. After all, the car that Oliver just drove in caused quite a commotion.
Then she shyly whispered back, "How about in the car?"
"Okay, fine. Let's go." Oliver replied and walked towards the supercar with Sarah following behind him.
Ron and Brenda also followed after them since they too wanted to sit inside this beautiful beast.
Upon sitting in the driver's seat, Oliver took the car towards the parking lot before turning off the engine, then waited for Sarah to make her move.
She took several deep breaths, her chest rising and falling erratically, as she struggled to compose herself.
Finally, she managed to gather enough courage to look at Oliver sitting beside her.
They stared at each other, and without waiting for further encouragent, Sarah leaned forward.

Oliver glanced at her from the corner of his eye, wrapped his right arm around her waist, and replied, "There were many things that happened back then and many more things that will happen later, which will take even more ti to talk about. Anyway, just know that I've beco soone new entirely."
