At this mont, he summoned his trump card, the Jade Heart Sword.
According to Hu’s cultivation tradition, an A-Class can begin nurturing swords, and once he nurtures 24 Heart Swords, he can step into the threshold of being a Demigod.
The number signifies the level; the power of the true self is united with the Heart Sword, the more Heart Swords, the stronger the true self becos.
The quality of the Jade Heart Sword is also divided into three grades. The higher the quality, the farther the Heart Sword can fly, the faster it is, and the sharper the blade.
It is said that Hu Shuo, the founder of Hu’s, had twenty-four Heart Swords, capable of killing enemies effortlessly from dozens of kiloters away.
However, Heart Swords are not the eyes of the swordmaster, so when the distance is too far, a relay-guidance is needed... otherwise, the sword might miss its target.
The three grades of Jade Heart Sword are Zishi, Haishi, and Wushi, with Zishi being the lowest and Wushi the highest.
Currently, He Jinqiu’s Jade Heart Sword is stuck at Haishi quality. He must cross the Demigod threshold to continue refining towards ’Wushi’.
This mont.
"The villa is really nice," He Jinqiu casually complinted.
This villa was originally one of the venues Zheng Yuandong provided for students to hold parties; now He Jinqiu had taken over one.
Boss He settled peacefully on Whale Island because Zhi Lanxing and Chicken Blood Sprout couldn’t leave the island, so he must cultivate there.
Zhi Lanxing is too precious. He wished he could spend every mont, except for eating and washing, in cultivation.
At a certain mont, looking at the vast sea and sunlight outside the floor-to-ceiling window, He Jinqiu suddenly felt that retreating in such a place for a while seed not bad, living in seclusion.
Moreover, entering the Inner World for battle from here and returning here too, with a abundance of Chicken Blood Sprout as a life-saving ans, the survival rate would be a bit higher.
The magic of Chicken Blood Sprout lies in that, even if soone stabbed your spleen, as long as you crush the sprouts into paste and apply it to the wound, the spleen can heal quickly.
Thus, He Jinqiu made a new plan that when the Kyushu were going to participate in battles in the Inner World, he would bring all Kyushu mbers participating in the battle to this island, so they could receive imdiate treatnt upon return.
Good.
He made a call: "Yu Cheng, I’ve acquired Zhi Lanxing. You and a few others contact Lu Yuan for an island entry, prepare for closed-door cultivation. Everything waits until we erge."
Boss He stretched lazily, wearing pajamas, and walked into the villa’s yard, gazing distantly at the War Fortress.
Suddenly, he was stunned.
Boss He called Boss Zheng: "Why did the fortress of the Agricultural College suddenly have an extra layer like a castle?"
Zheng Yuandong: "I don’t know."
He Jinqiu pondered deeply: "I feel like it’s to prevent us?! We just climbed the wall the other night, and today it’s an airtight castle, what’s the aning of this!"
Zheng Yuandong laughed: "Maybe they’re afraid we’ll sneak in to steal Zhi Lanxing."
"It’s unlikely, we’re the respectable leaders of Kunlun and Kyushu, would we do such a thing?" He Jinqiu said helplessly, "By the way, I’ve occupied the villa next to it too, anyway, there are eight more, it’s enough for you guys."
"Why do you insist on occupying so many villas?" Zheng Yuandong frowned and asked.
He Jinqiu said: "I intend to summon Yu Cheng and them, four people will take turns using Zhi Lanxing in the villa for cultivation, each person uses it for seven days."
Zheng Yuandong pondered for a mont: "You don’t intend to on Whale Island..."
He Jinqiu laughed: "No need to guard against like this, old squad leader."
Zheng Yuandong was silent for a mont: "Alright, I’ll have Lu Yuan guide them on the island."
However, just as they spoke, suddenly a colorful auspicious cloud gathered above Whale Island, and streams of multicolored light circled endlessly in the air, finally a sudden thundering struck the fortress of the Agricultural College...
"What’s going on?" He Jinqiu was taken aback for a second and hurriedly ran towards the Agricultural College.
Zheng Yuandong and he arrived at the gate at the sa ti, exchanging glances. He Jinqiu shouted, "What happened inside?"
The small iron door suddenly opened, and Qing Chen poked his head out. Seeing it was Zheng Yuandong and He Jinqiu outside, he smiled and said, "Heavenly blessings! The plants inside the War Fortress are actually growing faster! Here, each of you take four ears of Zhi Lanxing, from now on we will give you this amount, if there are more blessings, there might be more in the future. Boss Zheng, these in your hand are for Kunlun. You can let Kunlun mbers use them; the ones for student consumption points are separate. Oh, before the next traversal, have the students quickly compile their intelligence."
With a bang, the small iron door closed again.
Zheng Yuandong and He Jinqiu stood in silence, looking at the Zhi Lanxing in their hands, speechless for a long ti: "This blessing seems too short-lived, doesn’t it?"
At a certain mont, they had already realized that Qing Chen hadn’t told the truth that night!
The reason the other party sealed the War Fortress was also not wanting them to know exactly how fast the plants inside were growing.
If that’s the case, then the Agricultural College holds more significance for all the Ti Travelers than imagined!
Zheng Yuandong considered that if Qing Chen could bring out more Zhi Lanxing, it would an more high-end combat power for Kunlun and the Academy.
Zheng Yuandong looked at He Jinqiu: "During the next traversal, do not hold back. The Ti Traveler’s Academy needs him, consider it as Kunlun owing you a favor."
He Jinqiu smiled and shook his head: "What does the old squad leader take for? I don’t want your favor, don’t worry, I will give my all."
...
Two Chapters, totaling ten thousand words, seeking subscriptions and monthly votes.
Regarding the controversies in yesterday’s Chapters, I feel I should probably explain. Since I wrote about Qing Chen’s guilt, I definitely won’t let this matter pass, otherwise writing about his guilt would be aningless. These two Chapters are actually laying the groundwork for the divergence between Kunlun and Kyushu, and the the of the fourth volu is to tie together characters and clues, aligning previously scattered characters and converging them together.
This volu is the pivotal point between the first half and second half of the storyline. It also connects the first to the seventh Chapter of the night.
There’s a mistake here because I lacked detailed portrayals of He Jinqiu, leading to a cognitive bias between myself and the readers. In my perception, in the previous groundwork, He Jinqiu is a very realistic person with his own ambitions, beliefs, and goals, not soone who bares his soul to Qing Chen, but due to too little detailed depiction, so readers didn’t think so. Actually, before returning, there should have been a detail of He Jinqiu waiting without taking action. At that ti, the focus was all on the Shadow; it was all noted in the hand-written outline but forgotten to be written down, neglecting this detail, will pay attention next ti.
However, no need to curse in the comnts.
