After leaving the small town, Yoruha traveled for several days and was now only two days away from the eting point he had agreed upon with Asama Santayu. He wasn't in a hurry to reach the rendezvous.
"Whoosh..."
As Yoruha passed through a forest, he suddenly heard the sound of splashing water in the distance. He stopped in his tracks and, standing on a large tree, imdiately activated his sensory abilities. Soon, Yoruha opened his eyes with a look of shock. "How can there be such a massive chakra here?"
"Such a massive chakra, could it be a tailed beast?" Yoruha sensed an enormous chakra presence in the distance. The amount of chakra was the largest he had ever encountered, second only to the Nine-Tails.
"It must be the chakra of a tailed beast. Even the summoning beasts from the Three Great Sage Regions don't have such a vast amount of chakra, right?" Yoruha frowned. With this thought, he imdiately headed towards the source of the massive chakra.
"If it's really a wild tailed beast, then I've hit the jackpot," Yoruha thought excitedly. "Too slow, better use the Flying Thunder God Technique."
Yoruha was so excited that he wanted to reach the target location as quickly as possible. In an instant, he expanded his sensory range again. "Buzz," and in the blink of an eye, Yoruha vanished from his original spot.
Almost simultaneously, Yoruha appeared above a massive lake several kiloters away. In the middle of the forest, there was a gigantic lake, over 30 kiloters wide. Yoruha's sudden appearance caught the attention of a giant creature frolicking on the lake's surface.
Upon appearing, Yoruha imdiately saw the enormous creature, towering several dozen ters high. Seeing the creature's form, Yoruha was overjoyed. "I was right, it's indeed a tailed beast."
The creature before him, resembling a turtle, was the Three-Tails Isobu. Ever since the Fourth Mizukage died, the Three-Tails had been without a jinchuriki. Because the Three-Tails was wild, when Konoha discovered it later, they intended to seal it away, coincidentally clashing with Orochimaru, who also wanted the Three-Tails.
Without a jinchuriki, a tailed beast's power isn't very strong, and it only requires a Kage-level ninja to seal it. Except for the Nine-Tails, most Kage-level ninjas aren't a match for it. But the Three-Tails is clearly not as powerful as the Nine-Tails.
Deidara and Tobi didn't spend much ti or effort to subdue the Three-Tails. Yoruha looked up at the giant turtle-like creature before him, smiling. "Looks like I've found my summoning beast."
Yoruha had been contemplating what kind of summoning beast would be most beneficial for him. He had always thought the Three Great Sage Regions were the best choice. But upon seeing the Three-Tails, Yoruha realized that compared to the summoning beasts of the Three Great Sage Regions, the Three-Tails was clearly more suitable as a summoning beast, and tailed beasts are much stronger.
Even the relatively weaker Three-Tails among the Nine Tailed Beasts is still formidable. The reason it was later easily subdued by Deidara and Tobi, or defeated by Naruto's few jutsus, was entirely because it lacked a jinchuriki and couldn't fully unleash its true power. If the Three-Tails were truly that weak, Tsunade wouldn't have wanted to seal it away later.
The person before it posed a significant threat. The previously calm Three-Tails suddenly erupted in fury, opening its massive mouth towards Yoruha.
"Buzz," a sphere of white light began to form in the Three-Tails' hands. Yoruha was montarily taken aback, "Attacking without even a greeting? It seems the tailed beasts truly despise humans."
In truth, Yoruha had misunderstood. The Three-Tails simply sensed that Yoruha had the power to threaten its safety, so it wanted to strike first. "Buzz, buzz, buzz..." Enormous chakra gathered in the mouth of the Three-Tails.
A light sphere several ters in diater took shape, aid directly at Yoruha. Naturally, Yoruha wouldn't just sit and wait for death.
"The power is truly imnse, worthy of a tailed beast. Although not as much chakra as the Nine-Tails, it's still incredibly terrifying." The Three-Tails' chakra might not match the Nine-Tails, but it was still formidable. In the ninja world, few could match this level of chakra, perhaps only Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama ca to Yoruha's mind.
Yoruha forgot that his own chakra already surpassed that of the Three-Tails, though not by much. Seeing the light sphere fully ford, Yoruha clasped his hands together.
"Water Release: Super Water Bomb," Yoruha began with an A-rank Water Release jutsu. This technique was developed by Yoruha based on the Water Severing Wave. As Yoruha activated his chakra, the lake water beneath him shot upwards in towering columns.
These water columns converged in the air. "Boom, boom, boom..." The massive water columns, several ters in diater, shot towards the Three-Tails with explosive force.
Though the water columns were several ters wide, they ford an extrely high-pressure water cannon, creating a terrifying sonic boom as they shot out. This demonstrated the incredible speed of the water columns. The Three-Tails imdiately launched the light sphere from its mouth.
"Bang," "Boom..." In an instant, the water columns and the light sphere collided. In a flash, light enveloped the surrounding hundreds of ters, and the terrifying energy caused intense vibrations.
The surrounding forest's birds and beasts scattered in fear from the violent tremors. In just a mont of collision, the light sphere launched by the Three-Tails was pierced through by Yoruha's Super Water Bomb. The terrifying force struck the Three-Tails instantly.
Even with its towering body over ten ters tall, the Three-Tails was blasted hundreds of ters away by the water column. When it landed on the lake, it skidded across the surface for hundreds of ters before coming to a stop due to its imnse speed. The once calm lake surface beca turbulent, waves crashing and water splashing, creating a downpour over several kiloters.
The shocking scene left the Three-Tails, now in the lake, stunned. This human before it was the strongest ninja it had seen, aside from the Sage of Six Paths and Senju Hashirama. With just a single jutsu clash, the Three-Tails realized it was no match for this human.
Seeing the Three-Tails attempting to dive, Yoruha chuckled, "How could I let you escape?" With that, Yoruha vanished from his spot. Almost simultaneously, Yoruha appeared above the Three-Tails.
At this mont, Yoruha clapped his hands together. "Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique," another Water Release jutsu. "Roar~" A roar echoed from the lake surface.
Then, a massive water dragon, hundreds of ters long, soared into the sky from the lake. The Three-Tails was dumbfounded. "Roar~" But the Three-Tails was not to be outdone, roaring defiantly at the dragon in the sky.
Yoruha stood atop the water dragon's head, smiling, "Three-Tails, beco my summoning beast." With that, Yoruha urged the water dragon beneath him to attack the Three-Tails in the lake. "Roar~" The giant water dragon roared and lunged at the Three-Tails.
"Boom..." The dragon and the turtle collided instantly. The water dragon's body shattered continuously, but under Yoruha's chakra, it reford again and again.
The dragon's body, hundreds of ters long, coiled around the Three-Tails like a giant python. The imnse force pressed the Three-Tails into a violent scream. "Roar~" The water dragon's strength was even greater than the Three-Tails', rendering it unable to move or escape, no matter how hard it struggled.
