Without Orochimaru's orders, he could refrain from acting. At this mont, he was reanimated by Orochimaru's Edo Tensei. Reanimated Kisa Hoshigaki, Kakuzu, and Deidara attacked Yoruha without hesitation.
They were all taken down by Sasuke, with Kakuzu being taken down by Yoruha, though he didn't know that and thought Sasuke had defeated him. So they had no fear of Yoruha and were quite displeased with his disregard from the start. But as soon as the three approached Yoruha, before they could release any jutsu, they were blasted into smithereens by a terrifying chakra.
