Fifteen minutes passed quickly. Hiroshi and his team had finished setting their trap, a surprisingly difficult task.
They had to carefully construct the trap while remaining vigilant against a possible ambush by Itachi Uchiha’s team, all without letting Itachi know they were setting a trap.
"Alright, everyone. The trap is set. Now we wait," Hiroshi whispered to Harumiko and the others.
"I’m nervous. I wonder when they’ll attack," Harumiko said, looking around, frowning slightly.
Seeing their nervousness, Hiroshi smiled. "Don’t worry, everyone. I’m here. You can relax."
Harumiko and the others nodded, reassured by his presence. Having a reliable person nearby always brought peace of mind.
"Boss, when should we move? They seem relaxed," one of Itachi’s teammates whispered.
Itachi glanced at Hiroshi’s team. "Alright, let’s move. Be careful."
The teammate nodded and returned to his position.
"Looks like they’re about to move," Hiroshi observed, having noticed the teammate’s brief trip to Itachi.
"Everyone, get ready. I think Itachi’s team is going to attack," Hiroshi whispered to Harumiko and the others.
They nodded, preparing for battle.
"Here they co!" Hiroshi said, spotting movent in the distance.
Itachi’s team stealthily approached Hiroshi’s position.
Ti ticked by. Itachi’s team was now very close.
Itachi, let’s see what you can do this ti, Hiroshi thought, watching Itachi from the bushes.
The situation was tense. Hiroshi’s team knew Itachi was nearby, waiting for them to spring their trap.
Itachi’s team had their weapons drawn and were ready to strike.
"Everyone, attack! Be careful of Hiroshi!" Itachi instructed his teammates.
The three of them charged.
"What the—?!" One of Itachi’s teammates stepped into Hiroshi’s trap, instantly ensnared by ropes, his weapon falling to the ground.
"We’ve been tricked!" Itachi realized they’d fallen into Hiroshi’s trap.
But it was too late.
"Everyone, pull!" Hiroshi shouted to Harumiko and the others.
