Watching Harumiko’s joyful smile, Hiroshi smiled warmly in return.
"Girls are always the cutest at monts like these. Harumiko, rest assured, I’ll always treat you well!" Hiroshi thought, gazing at Harumiko.
Hiroshi then shifted his gaze to the cherry blossom trees outside, thinking, "Cherry blossoms...in my past life, cherry blossoms were my favorite flower, but I never had the chance to see real ones."
"But it’s not too late now. In my past life, seeing cherry blossoms would have required a flight across the sea. Now, I can see them on my way to school!" Hiroshi thought with a smile.
Noticing Hiroshi’s smile, Harumiko smiled brightly and said, "Hiroshi, do you like cherry blossoms too? You were looking at them so intently!"
Hiroshi, snapping out of his thoughts, replied, "Yes, I love cherry blossoms. Seeing them always lifts my spirits."
"Really? I never expected you to like cherry blossoms!" Harumiko said, covering her mouth with a giggle.
Hiroshi shook his head at Harumiko’s reaction, then noticed the teacher entering the classroom.
"Hiroshi, co out here for a mont," the teacher announced loudly, then exited the classroom.
The entire class turned to look at Hiroshi, unsure of what was happening.
"What’s going on? Did the teacher catch you picking cherry blossoms, Hiroshi?" Harumiko asked, smiling at Hiroshi.
Hiroshi shook his head helplessly. "I don’t know! If it’s about the cherry blossoms, at least that’s sothing I can explain."
Hiroshi stood up and walked out of the classroom under everyone’s gaze.
"Teacher, did you need sothing?" Hiroshi asked the teacher once he reached her.
The teacher nodded. "Yes, the Hokage wants to see you in his office."
Hiroshi was stunned. His uncle wanted to see him?
"Is sothing wrong, teacher?" Hiroshi asked before leaving.
The teacher shook her head. "I’m not sure, but it might be related to you winning first place in the last competition. Go quickly!"
Hiroshi’s spirits soared, and he quickened his pace towards the Hokage’s office.
"I’ve finally reached this mont!" Hiroshi said happily as he walked.
Hiroshi soon arrived at the office, finding his uncle sitting inside, drinking water.
"Hokage-sama, I’ve arrived!" Hiroshi greeted Minato Namikaze.
"Hiroshi, you’re here. Co in. It’s just us, so call Uncle. And close the door," Minato Namikaze said with a smile.
Hiroshi entered the office and closed the door.
