"Don’t say anything else, Hiroshi! I’m so excited, I can barely stand it!" Harumiko said, clutching Hiroshi’s hand nervously, clearly eager for the reward.
Hiroshi smiled and nodded, then looked away.
"Everyone’s really excited about the first-place prize, aren’t they? If I tell them we can join the ANBU and graduate early after school, they’ll be ecstatic!" Hiroshi thought to himself.
Honestly, anyone unwilling to join the ANBU likely lacks ambition.
Those who strive to join the ANBU possess imnse self-respect. They yearn to take on missions others can’t, experiencing the glory of such endeavors.
However, ANBU mbership requires exceptional strength. Without it, they’d be easily killed on missions. That’s a key criterion for selection.
"Now that I think about it, Harumiko and I are strong enough for the ANBU, but Rai and his sister... I wonder if they’re strong enough," Hiroshi thought, a thoughtful smile on his face.
