Hiroshi’s lips curled into a slight smile.
Great, finally a Chunin, he thought.
The onlookers applauded. They were pragmatic; strength determined who was the boss.
"God, you’re amazing! You defeated Ichiryu and his underlings! What’s your secret?" the student who had argued with Ichiryu asked, awestruck.
Hiroshi turned to him. After a few seconds, he recognized him and smiled. "No problem, but tell your na first. Thanks for sticking up for earlier."
"I... I’m Yamada, Senju Yamada," Yamada said excitedly.
Hiroshi was surprised. He hadn’t expected him to be from the Senju clan.
"I rember you. Co to if you need anything. My secret? Hard work. I believe you’ll surpass soday," Hiroshi said, jokingly, keeping his secret to himself.
Yamada was stunned. "That’s the god’s secret? I’ll train hard too!"
Hiroshi chuckled, noticing the envious gazes around him.
"Ding! Host’s reputation 5."
"Ding! Host defeated Ichiryu. Strength 1, Stamina 2."
Hiroshi pushed through the crowd to reach Harumiko and the others.
"Wow, Hiroshi! You were so weak before, and now you’re this strong! You were hiding it well!" Aya said, clapping him on the shoulder.
Harumiko frowned slightly. "Aya, be gentle. Hiroshi fought for a long ti."
Aya chuckled and turned to Hanako.
Hiroshi rubbed his shoulder. "Harumiko, how was that? Pretty cool, huh?"
Harumiko smiled. "You’re incorrigible! You’re still joking around. Sounds like you’re okay."
Hiroshi laughed. "Alright, let’s go ho. It’s getting late. I need a good sleep."
The four of them started their journey ho.
