"Boss, I’ll have a bowl of pork rib ran," Hiroshi said, smiling as he sat down in the ran shop.
The ran shop owner, hearing Hiroshi’s order, smiled and nodded. "Okay, please wait a mont, I’ll make it for you right away!"
Hiroshi surprisingly chose pork rib ran instead of his usual tonkotsu chashu ran. This was a first. He thought, I always order tonkotsu chashu ran, but this ti I’ll try pork rib ran. I wonder if it’ll be better.
I’ve been eating tonkotsu chashu ran for so long, I need a change of pace; otherwise, I’ll get sick of it. He sat, lost in thought. Any ran can be delicious; it just depends on personal preference. If soone doesn’t like it, it’s just a matter of taste.

He wondered, I can’t believe it’s so hot out, and people are still eating ran, just like . Don’t they know what else to eat? But of course, these people weren’t here because they didn’t know what else to eat; they probably just really loved ran. It’s like soone who loves alcohol and feels terrible without it every day.
He smiled, thinking, After I eat, I’ll get two bowls to go, then rest before heading to school. Tonight, I’ll beco a Chunin! Just thinking about reaching Chunin makes excited!
Hiroshi was slowly but surely getting stronger; he might not even realize it yet, but as ti went on, he would see that all his hard training this past year wasn’t for nothing.
"Okay, son, here’s your pork rib ran. Be careful, it’s hot," the ran shop owner said softly, placing a steaming bowl in front of Hiroshi.
"Thank you, sir! You’re a lifesaver. And could I get two more to go? I’ll take them ho with ," Hiroshi said with a smile.
The ran shop owner nodded and went back into the kitchen.
"Alright, let’s see how this pork rib ran tastes," Hiroshi whispered, picking up his chopsticks. He eagerly began to eat.
