Seiryū waved his hand and said, "As for teaching Chidori, forget it. I already have Rasengan. Chidori isn't of much help to ."
This was the truth.
Although Chidori was a powerful ninjutsu that later evolved into the more advanced and convenient Purple Lightning.
It wasn't very useful to Seiryū.
Aside from a few exceptionally practical jutsu, ordinary techniques weren't within Seiryū's consideration.
With the system, it ant he wouldn't lack offensive ans in the future.
Compared to jutsu that required complex hand seals, kidō, which only required a single seal, was clearly more convenient.
"Then let's say I owe you a favor."
Kakashi thought about it and felt it made sense.
Seiryū had already mastered Rasengan, which was a seal-less jutsu and even more convenient than Chidori.
However, having accepted Seiryū's kindness, he couldn't just do nothing, yet he had nothing to offer in return.
He could only owe him a favor for now.
Seiryū shook his head. "No need for that. When I was practicing swordsmanship, you and Uncle Sakumo helped a lot. This isn't a big deal, so why talk about favors?"
Kakashi's attitude was firm. "That's different. Back then, it was just exchanging insights, and we both gained sothing. This ti, you told about Chidori's future developnt, and I didn't give anything in return."
Pausing for a mont, Kakashi said seriously, "I owe you a favor. If there's anything you need to do in the future, just ask."
"Uh..."
Seiryū smiled helplessly and gave up arguing. "Fine, have it your way then."
Kakashi nodded slightly. "Yeah."
Knock knock knock.
At that mont, a knocking sound ca from the door, followed by a loud voice. It was Obito. "Kakashi, are you there? Hurry up, don't keep Sensei waiting too long."
Hearing the knocking, Kakashi and Seiryū returned to the inner room.
Opening the door, Obito and Rin ca into view.
"Sorry, wait for a mont."
Kakashi said to his two teammates, then turned back into his room to start packing.
Seiryū waved to his two classmates. "Yo, long ti no see, Obito, Rin."
Seeing Seiryū, Obito curled his lip and said with disdain, "Why are you here too?"
On the other hand, Rin seed very happy. Her cheeks were slightly flushed. She hadn't seen Seiryū in a long ti.
With a gentle smile, she asked, "Seiryū, don't you have a mission today?"
"Yeah, I'm off today."
Having not seen Rin for a while, she was still very cute. A different kind of cute compared to Kurenai. Seiryū explained, "I had nothing to do, so I dropped by Kakashi's place. I was also asking him how his new technique developnt was going."
Obito glanced at Seiryū and said indifferently, "You're just afraid of being surpassed by Kakashi, right?"
It wasn't that he hated Seiryū. Well, maybe a little—
Every ti Seiryū was around, he noticed Rin's gaze occasionally drifting toward him, which made him a bit annoyed.
Damn it.
Is being good-looking that amazing?
"It's been a few months, but you don't seem to have improved much, Obito."
Seiryū was already used to Obito's 'malice'.
If this guy ever spoke to him nicely, he would think Obito had been possessed by another transmigrator.
Seiryū's voice took on a teasing tone. "You haven't awakened your Sharingan yet, have you? Compared to Ryota, your talent is really lacking. He's only a year older than you. If you don't work harder, you'll be left far behind."
"..."
Obito was flustered but couldn't argue back.
Those past words felt like a boorang, hitting him hard now.
His face turned bright red, and he could only try to save face. "The Uchiha Clan's talent isn't judged by how young you awaken the Sharingan. There are those who build up steadily and break out later. Clearly, I'm that type!"
Seiryū patted Obito's shoulder and sighed. "You've changed the setting of your Uchiha Clan again? As expected of you, Obito. You always manage to co up with things I can't even imagine."
Obito pointed at Seiryū in a rage. "You bastard, I'm challenging you to a duel! I'm not the sa person I was back at the Ninja Academy!"
The system didn't "ding," so Seiryū was disappointed and didn't bother arguing with this idiot.
Turning to Rin, he smiled. "Rin, I heard you've been studying dical Ninjutsu lately?"
The Ninja Academy only taught basic knowledge and didn't cover dical Ninjutsu.
However, Konoha had a dedicated institution for training dical-nin, which was the Konoha Ninja Hospital.
Once soone graduated from the Ninja Academy and beca a Genin, if they were willing, they could go to the hospital to intern.
To learn dical Ninjutsu—
"Yeah."
ntioning this, Rin looked a little embarrassed. She nodded slightly and said gently,
"But it's a bit difficult. I haven't mastered many of the key points yet."
Looking at Seiryū, Rin gathered her courage and whispered, "Seiryū, aren't you also skilled in dical Ninjutsu?
Can I ask you for advice on dical Ninjutsu in the future?"
Back at the Ninja Academy, she would often ask Seiryū for help with theory and assignnts.
Saying it now didn't feel out of place.
Seiryū was indeed skilled in dical Ninjutsu.
Well, to be honest...
The reason she chose to study dical Ninjutsu wasn't just because she felt it suited her better, but also because it gave her a reason to talk to Seiryū.
Being in different squads, she hadn't spoken to him in a long ti.
She didn't want to be left too far behind by Seiryū, to the point where she couldn't even catch up.
Seiryū was stunned for a mont. Looking at the serious Rin, he didn't refuse and smiled. "Of course. Friends should help each other. I was just talking to Kakashi about his new technique, Chidori."
"Really?"
Rin was pleasantly surprised. Her face flushed, and she moved a bit closer.
Looking up slightly at Seiryū, she gave a cute smile. "Then I'll be in your care, Seiryū!"
This smile was very similar to Kurenai's, so Seiryū, on impulse, reached out and rubbed Rin's small head, smiling. "Don't ntion it."
Feeling the warm hand on her head, Rin froze on the spot.
Seiryū actually stroked her head.
Stroked her head.
This gesture was too intimate.
It made Rin's face turn completely red.
Her heart rate sped up significantly.
"It feels nice... uh, no, that's not right—"
Seiryū also realized his action was too sudden and quickly withdrew his hand.
With an apologetic and awkward smile, he said, "Sorry, Rin. I didn't an to. I just thought you were cute and did it subconsciously, that's all."
The person in front of him wasn't his sister Kurenai, whose head he was used to rubbing, but his classmate Rin.
This gesture really was too intimate.
Rin's face stayed red. She shyly lowered her head, her voice soft like a mosquito's hum. "It's... it's okay. And—and, th-thank you for the complint—"
She was completely flustered.
Seiryū stroked her head because he thought she was cute. He even called her cute again.
This was too embarrassing.
How should she respond?
Rin felt like her brain was stuck, and she didn't dare look Seiryū in the eyes.
