Minato vanished.

The newborn stirred, crying weakly.
Kirito stepped forward, gently placing his hand on Naruto's chest.
The crying gradually faded.
Naruto fell asleep.
Monts later, Minato returned—supporting a pale, exhausted Kushina.
He laid her beside Naruto.
"Mom…"
Kirito could feel it.
As a forr Jinchūriki, Kushina's life force was rapidly fading.
"Kirito…" Kushina whispered, smiling weakly.
"Thank you… for taking care of your brother."
She hugged Kirito with one arm, resting her other hand on Naruto's chest.
Her eyes were filled with love.
