Hidan likely wouldn't die, but who knew how Obito would deal with him. He'd probably just let Hidan starve to death.
Even with Hidan's supposed immortality, without food, he would likely die. Even if he didn't starve, Obito would surely find a way to finish him off.
"Whew." Kakashi took a deep breath, then headed towards Kakuzu.
The most troubleso Akatsuki mbers for Konoha were Deidara and Sasori. Not because they were stronger than the others, but because their destructive capabilities were imnse.

A continuous air cannon, shaped like an elephant's foot, struck the Deva Path, who had been preparing his ultimate attack in the sky.
Instantly, the Deva Path vanished, not even a corpse remaining.
"Guy-sensei!" Rock Lee knelt on the ground, tears streaming down his face as he watched Might Guy, whose speed distorted space itself.
He had already been lucky to survive once. Using the Eight Gates Formation again was a certain death sentence.
Unless another miracle occurred. But miracles rarely happened twice.
Besides, Guy surviving before wasn't a miracle—Shin had spared his life. Otherwise, Guy would have died long ago.
"What is this power?!" Sasori was stunned.
