"Whatever. I'm not interested in fighting him anyway." Shin said calmly. If Danzō hadn't attacked him, Shin wouldn't have bothered with him.
Cold sweat dripped from Danzō's forehead. He wanted to pick up his severed arm from the ground, but before he could touch it, it was engulfed in black, inextinguishable flas.

Jiraiya choosing Nawaki to be Hokage was also a calculated move. With Nawaki's relationship with Shin, after Nawaki beca Hokage, Konoha would be truly safe.
At least they wouldn't have to worry about being targeted by Shin Uzumaki.
