"This ship is toast. Look at that massive hole."
Shin stared at his damaged vessel with frustration. He'd been napping on deck when they'd crashed into sothing—a Giant sea beast that had punched right through the hull.
The Creature was already dealt with and ready for dinner, but the ship was another story.
"Looks like we need a new ride," Shin said to Hancock and the others.
Sure, they could patch it up, but what if it happened again?
"Indeed. Our ship is not very good," Olvia nodded.
Despite being a Yonko, Shin was still sailing in the sa vessel Elder Nyon had overseen years ago—hardly fitting for soone of his status.
"Should we contact Elder Nyon about building us sothing new?" Hancock asked Shin.
"That's one option. But I'm thinking we could try for sothing bigger—Pluton." Shin's smile turned predatory.
"PLUTON? AS IN ONE OF THE THREE ANCIENT WEAPONS?" Toki couldn't hide her shock.
"Oh, Didn't expect you to know about Pluton..."
Shin studied Toki with renewed interest. The woman was full of surprises—though given her mysterious background, maybe he shouldn't be surprised.
"..." Nearby, Momousagi froze mid-step when she heard the na. Her expression darkened imdiately.
Pluton—the legendary warship built in Water 7, capable of obliterating an entire island with one shot. Even the World Governnt desperately wanted to get their hands on it, but its current location remained a mystery.
Only soone who could read Poneglyphs might be able to track it down. And those who could read the Poneglyphs… Momousagi subconsciously looked at Olvia and Robin.
If Shin really wanted to find Pluton... he actually could do it.
What was she supposed to do? Just stand by and watch him claim the Most Dangerous Weapon in existence?
Momousagi was looking for a way. She couldn't let Pluton fall into Shin Uzumaki's hands. Otherwise, it would be too dangerous.
She had to get word out sohow. Shin was already a walking catastrophe—if he got his hands on the Ancient Weapons, who could possibly stop him?
Lost in thought, she nearly jumped out of her skin when soone tapped her shoulder.
————
"What are you doing standing here?" Marguerite asked Momousagi.
Momousagi spun around to find the young warrior watching her curiously. Despite her age, Marguerite's skills had earned her a spot on the crew when Hancock recruited from Amazon Lily.
"Nothing. When did you co over?"
Momousagi feigned calmness and asked Marguerite.
"Just now. You seed... distracted,"
Marguerite's gaze was sharp—she'd been ordered by the Empress to keep tabs on their newest mber.
"I'm feeling a bit off. Still adjusting to the New World, I guess."
The lie felt clumsy coming out—Momousagi had never been good at deception. Fortunately, Marguerite didn't seem to notice anything suspicious.
Momousagi quickly excused herself, completely unaware that Shin's Observation Haki had tracked every mont of the exchange.
————
"Pluton's been missing for centuries. Think we can actually find it?" Olvia asked.
"I should be asking you that. Its location should be recorded on the Poneglyphs sowhere. Haven't you co across anything about it?"
Shin looked at Olvia.
"I've seen a Poneglyph that ntioned Pluton, but it didn't give away its location."
Olvia shook her head.
Even she wasn't certain the Legendary warship still existed.
"According to my guess—Pluton is very likely related to Alabasta Kingdom."
Shin wasn't certain the kingdom actually housed the weapon, but he knew there was a Poneglyph about an Ancient Weapon hidden there—and it had to be about Pluton. After all, that's exactly why Crocodile had been so obsessed with the place.
"But this ti we're not going after Pluton itself. We're going for the blueprints—build our own version."
The original Pluton was a needle in a haystack. Shin didn't have ti to scour the entire world looking for it—building a new one would be much faster.
"Pluton's blueprints?" Robin looked at Shin in surprise, then asked, "Do you know where Pluton's blueprints are?"
"Of course I know."
Shin's confident smile said it all. Thanks to his knowledge of future events, he knew exactly who possessed them.
Franky's master—Tom—currently held the blueprints. Later, he would have passed them to Iceburg, the mayor of Water 7. Iceburg would then give them to his fellow apprentice Franky, who would eventually burn them rather than let them fall into the wrong hands.
Luffy's Thousand Sunny might have even incorporated elents of Pluton's design—both Franky and Iceburg would work on that ship, after all.
But right now, Tom was still alive, which ant the blueprints remained in his possession.
————
"Looks like we're leaving the New World."
Shin spoke up. His purpose this ti was to get Pluton's blueprints.
"Change of plans—we're heading to Paradise instead."
"By the way, where is Tom being held?" Shin realized that he didn't know where Tom was being held.
Enies Lobby? No, that was for trials, not long-term imprisonnt.
Impel Down? Unlikely—Tom was too valuable to the World Governnt for a standard prison. They'd want him sowhere secure but accessible, probably so black site facility.
This made things complicated...
"Finding Tom is a bit troubleso. I have no idea where they're keeping him, and we don't exactly have an intelligence network."
"Shin, you an Pluton's blueprints are on Tom?" Olvia asked Shin.
"Tom wouldn't be carrying them around—the Five Elders would've seized them by now if he was. But Tom definitely knows where they're hidden."
For the sake of getting a proper flagship, Shin was willing to track down the fishman. Once he found Tom, obtaining the blueprints would be straightforward.
If Tom refused to cooperate... well, that wasn't really a problem. Shin had ways of extracting information directly from soone's mories. Whether Tom wanted to talk or not wouldn't matter.
But first, he had to actually find Tom. Without that, everything else was pointless.
