"Who gave you the courage to speak to like that?" Shin asked Baraggan calmly.
"Exactly. You've got a lot of nerve," Yoruichi chid in, equally annoyed by Baraggan's arrogance.
"You'll find out soon enough. My strength is nothing like it was before."
Baraggan declared confidently, then released his Resurrección. Truth be told, without it, he wasn't confident he could defeat Shin.
After all, last ti, he hadn't even seen Shin use his full strength before getting utterly thrashed.
"Rot, Arrogante."
A massive double-bladed axe appeared in his hands. Baraggan transford into a skeleton wearing a crown, draped in pitch-black flas similar to Amaterasu.

Shin chuckled. Indeed, Baraggan's power was impressive now—at least enough to earn Shin's acknowledgnt.
"I'll handle him," Yoruichi said.
"Better let do it. You don't know Baraggan's power; you'll be at a disadvantage," Shin told her.
Baraggan's Arrogante was truly formidable. Its ability was senescence—aging anything it touched. In the original story, Soi Fon's arm had instantly withered to bone upon contact.
"Is he really that strong?" Yoruichi raised an eyebrow, surprised that Shin wanted to take him on himself.
"He's decent. Resurrección is like a Zanpakutō's ability, and Baraggan himself is a Vasto Lorde. Even unreleased, his strength surpasses a Captain's. Right now, you really can't beat him."
Shin was telling the truth. Without knowing Baraggan's ability, it was easy to be taken down.
If Aizen hadn't used Kyōka Suigetsu to trick Baraggan, defeating him wouldn't have been so easy.
Although Baraggan was the Second Espada, his combat power was definitely not weaker than the First Espada. He was among the strongest of the Espada.
"Jakuho Raikoben!"

"Damn it! How many tis can you use that??" Baraggan wanted to vomit blood.
As for counterattacking Shin? He had to survive Shin's attacks first. If he took Shin's attack head-on, he would definitely die.
"That's a tough question. I honestly don't know how many tis I can use it. How about you help test it?"
Shin fired another missile, the giant stinger-like projectile launching once more.
Soi Fon's Jakuho Raikoben was known as a one-hit kill, a testant to its power. Shin was deliberately suppressing its full force.
Otherwise, did Baraggan think he could block it? Impossible. At full power, Shin's Jakuho Raikoben could destroy all of Hueco Mundo in a single strike.
After Shin used it five tis, Baraggan couldn't hold on any longer. Las Noches was completely destroyed, countless Hollows caught in the blast and killed.
"Just you wait! I'll have my revenge!" Baraggan shouted a threat, then turned and fled, looking utterly pathetic.
The threat sounded tough, but his escape was anything but.
"Don't run so fast! We haven't even caught up properly. Running away like that is disrespectful, don't you think?"
Shin chased after Baraggan, firing Jakuho Raikoben repeatedly. Because Shin was holding back, Baraggan wasn't hit directly.
Jakuho Raikoben was called a one-hit kill, but it wasn't a rule-based power. It was just an incredibly powerful attack that would kill anyone who took it.
If Shin didn't hit Baraggan directly, he wouldn't die.
"You're toying with him, aren't you?" Yoruichi saw through it. Shin had no intention of killing Baraggan.
"That's right. I don't want to kill him yet. He's not a threat, so might as well keep him around," Shin laughed.
The main reason Shin didn't want to kill Baraggan was to avoid causing too much disruption.
Although he didn't think killing Baraggan would affect Aizen's creation of the Hōgyoku, he didn't want any unexpected complications.
"Run faster! If you're too slow, I'll blow you to bits!" Shin shouted at Baraggan, making him grit his teeth in hatred.
He felt changed. If he hated Aizen the most before, and Shin second, now Shin had taken the top spot.
Of course, alongside the hate, there was fear. Shin had beaten him so badly he couldn't even lift his head. His confidence was shattered.
"Your performance is so disappointing. You were so eager to kill earlier, and this is it? How embarrassing."
Shin didn't forget to mock Baraggan. Although Baraggan was furious, he endured it.
He suppressed the urge to turn and fight Shin to the death. Clearly, fighting ant certain death. Running away offered a sliver of hope.
